It's Secret Forest a romance by any chance? I've been seeing the amount of comments on the recaps for this show and wanted to watch it, but I'm also really in the mood for some romance.

I'm thinking it's going to be one of those dramas where they recognize their feelings on the last episode. I wouldn't really expect that many kisses. Although I can hope.

It’s definitely not a romance drama. It is an excellent and smart law/crime investigative one though.
Maybe there are a few subtle hints of romantic feelings, but that’s mostly based on your own interpretation of the characters.

Oh :(
I was hoping for something subtle like Love Me If You Dare or When a Snail Falls in Love. Both were crime/investigation dramas, but had the tiniest hints of romance.

Ashi I think Ding Mo who wrote LMIYD and WaSFiL is like a alpha male centric stories, he relegates a main lead female character who is badass into just the male main lead's second fiddle. I think the writer of FoS got some raging feminist streak so I think ehmmm if you like romance in LMIYD or WaSFiL, probably you won't find little romance inFoS that interesting. Just my two cents

Not like Love Me if You Dare, more like there are subtle hints and there is ground that can be explore in the romantic sense in Secret Forest but that might go nowhere or just take baby steps by the end. Also it will heavily depend on your own interpretation but I still would say give it a try. May not be traditional romance but a damn good legal/crime thriller and a solid take on the 'whodunit' concept.

No, but if you want something that's somewhat similar (not as tightly written, but it shines as far as characters go) you can try Strawberry Night (j-drama). The romance is very, very subtle but the ~feels are there. There's an SP, a drama, AND a special. :)

I felt 1st week was a bit slow - Check time and 1st episode is 1 hour 16minutes + opening. There were many who found 38 task force's[ 1 hour episodes] 1st week slow. The standard it set created more expectations but i feel week 5 again stretched the story a bit. What could be said in 1 line was was turned into 5 lines scene. simple analysis was shown like it was something big and then we episode 11 which i think is the weakest episode of the show. All the so cliche rooftop drama and incompetent police. Episode 12 is maintained the standard but last 1 minute of it raised the bar again. I think Stranger has its own stagnant face of 3 episodes which we usually see in kdramas and now in last 2 week major things gonna happen. I can't say its perfect but i won't reduce its score.
8.5 OUT OF 10.

Hi Beanies !
I always find child actors especially in sageuks to be really good. Nam Da Reum and Yoon Chan Young are killing it in The King Loves and became my favorite male child actors after 6FD. My favorite child actress is Heo Jung Eum. She blew me away in Oh My Geum Bi. Which child actors/actresses do you like ?
Full House : I swear Rain's character was a child trapped in a man's body ! Well he and Song Hye Kyo made a cute couple at the end. Her friends were just plot devices to unveil secrets and create drama, right ? Because I don't see their purpose in this show. I liked the in-laws especially the grandmother, she was kind of cute :3 The most memorable thing in this drama is the cleaning. I've never seen so much cleaning in a drama until now !
My Sassy Girl : It was not baaad but not that good either. I liked some characters (Gyun Woo's friends, the Crown Prince, Byul, the eunuch and Prince Dalhan) but the show was average. The dimples were not enough to keep me invested.
Father is Strange : Inner peace ! That's what I and even more the “Byun” family for the upcoming episodes. MY finally realized her feelings but still doesn't know the truth. Revealing the truth and then realizing her feelings would have been better because she didn't doubt before that she and Actor Ahn were related. Well, I guess that's how fauxcest works. It's not surprising for Hye Young to be the first sibling to discover the truth. Now how will she and the other siblings handle it ? She's already busy with MIL. I agree with her that t's surprising to know that she is still in love with FIL. I salute her devotion, it seems like it's her only good quality. Our cutie Min Ha has a crush on a math teacher :3 It won't affect his definitive high school since it's “just” a crush. Ra Young and Chul Soo are bringing fresh air among the chaos. I felt it coming for Yu Ju's baby. She and Joon Young were not ready to be parents since they were not on the same page. At least they talked about it and I hope the next time everything will be good.
Happy Friday :D

I think 5 was my max. That turned out to be more stressful than fun though, so I try to keep it at a max of 3. It's hard to keep up to date when things go past 3. The worst is when you have 2+ dramas fall on the same day, or more recently 2+ dramas on multiple days like W/T, W/R, F/S. If you like to be kinky with the pain like me sometimes, you can watch a Chinese Drama with usually airs everyday or attempt to binge watch a show while you're watching others that are currently airing. Regardless, it's a matter of having the time to watch the shows you want to watch without going crazy.

oh wow Chinese Drama on top of 2+ live korean dramas? You have stamina! I was live watching Goblin and Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms while watching two on my watchlist and it was too much. I am cautious as well, more so because I tend to choose the wrong dramas to watch half the time and end up with something depressing like Rush to the Dead Summer. I swear, I'm never going to let that drama off the hook. The journey was torture, but I get what they were going for in the end.
How did you like Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms? I haven't watched that many C-Dramas and might want to pick one up in the coming weeks. Any other Chinese or Taiwanese Dramas you might recommend?

May I intercept and just say that Ten Miles of Peach Blossom is amazing! It's been MONTHS since I've finished it and I still watch clips here and there. Be warned, the Wu Xia style of C-drama is a bit different, so it may take getting used too if you haven't seen one before, but if you have and enjoy it, then you're in for a treat! =)

@hades I adored Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms! Super fanciful and 58 awesome episodes. I loved my leads too. They are flawed but loveable. That's the first C drama that I really watched and live to which was brutal waiting...even though it was a daily. I felt so greedy. I was so caught up but I've been side eyeing that Princess Agents and the Kings woman. Also please intercept @kimchikay a fellow Ten Miles fan. <3

Okay. I'm recommneding you my all time favorite taiwanese and chinese drama. Both are different genres. The chinese drama nirvana in fire and taiwanese drama, in time with you. Both are highly rate and critically acclaimed. And pretty much occupy the top two spots on my all time favorite list. Check it out. You will love it! (Btw, for nirvana in fire, the first episode will be confusing because they are setting up the plot, so STICK with it. I also had a hard time getting through it, but it was SO SO worth it) Have fun watching :)

The best is if you have one for Mon-Tues, one for Wed-Thurs and one for Fri-Sat. For me it depends if I'm watching a currently airing drama or not. If I am I tend to watch the currently airing on the next day after the episode airs then a older drama when I've finished watching the new episodes of the live one. However, I've found that I end up getting more invested in the older drama and marathoning and losing some interesting in the currently airing drama.
So other times I just watch one drama at a time.
At the moment however I'm watching two older dramas (let's fight ghost and fight my way). I think it might be easier to lose interest in a drama if I keep it fresh and not get as annoyed. Like when characters do stupid things, I probably won't remember as much as when I'm marathoning it.

I'm trying not to watch older dramas because I always end up marathoning them! I think they're more interesting because all the episodes are available and you can do something about it whereas currently airing dramas, all you can do is watch that episode, read recaps and forget it for another week.

I loved him in Flower Boy Next Door, High Kick Through the Roof, and always in 1N2D. I'm planning to watch Baker King when The Best Hit ends, but I've found that watching more than one show with the same lead actor at the same time is more than my poor brain can handle. It was bad enough watching The Best Hit and Suspicious Partner and feeling like CEO Byun might be losing his mind and grandpa was missing his business meetings.

OT week 24! So, I was living in an alternate universe lastnight and still in that universe today. (Maybe it’s also all that wine and champagne I had that my head is still swimming.) This past week, I reached “Chaebol’s poor doppelganger,” so it was appropriate that I would meet several Chaebols lastnight. I probably meet them every day doing what I do, but lastnight was the first time I actually was acutely aware that I was speaking with one—and I have kdramas to thank for this. And then, if that wasn’t enough, I realized that my first boyfriend (first-love as it were) was a Chaebol! His family owned a transmission business—and he was the first person I ever met with an indoor pool! If that’s not a Chaebol, I don’t know what is. How did I come to this realization? Well I met a woman whose family owns a gear box company (her sons are in their early-mid 20’s for anyone who is interested in dating a Chaebol ;-)) and they have a factory in the same town as my ex-boyfriend’s family’s business! They knew each other! Such is the town I live in—big enough to have Chaebols, but small enough to actually meet them. But a word of caution about Chaebol’s, this woman is one too, and she’s been married twice. So, just because you have lots of money, it doesn’t mean you’ll have lots of love.
So, other than that, it was a week full of premiers! And my hubby normally doesn’t watch any kdrama live, but we started The King Loves this week. And it’s beautiful, and I love the younger actors (especially the two boys), and I love the older actors, especially Yoona. Eun San is strong, brave, and determined, exactly how I like my heroines, and Yoona’s nuances in portraying her is perfect. I’m looking forward to this.
And because of this drama, both my husband and I broke the first commandment of kdrama watching: “Thou shalt not watch a kdrama without your spouse if both of you are interested in watching it.”
It went something like this…
Daughter: Mom, play this board game with us.
*Pulls out Labyrinth*
Me: *Walking out to living room…seeing my husband watching midway through the second episode of The King Loves*
Wait! I haven’t seen that one!
Daughter: Oh, dad already watched that today while you were at work.
Me: * =(=(=( What????* We watched the 1st episode and liked it together! You knew I wanted to see this with you!
Daughter: Are you playing?
Me: Yes, I am, let dad watch his kdrama.
Husband: *To daughter* Aren’t you going to ask me to play???
Daughter: I DID!!! You weren’t listening because you were watching that pretty girl. *Referring to Yoona*
Me: Ahhh, you hit the nail on the head, honey. Daddy’s obsessed with Yoona.
Husband: *In denial* I don’t even think she’s that pretty. *Turns off television.*
(Later that evening)
Me: Hon, I’m going out the living room to finish my charts, so if you’re tired, just go to sleep, I’ll be probably an hour or two. *Takes laptop and a...

...a stack of papers to the living room* *Turns on AppleTV* *Turns on Viki* *Finds The King Loves, episode 2* *Proceeds to watch the ENTIRE EPISODE without the hubby, even the part he turned off and didn’t finish*
Husband: *Walking out of the bedroom half asleep* I thought you were doing charts? I wanted to watch this with you!
Me: Should have thought about that today before your daughter ratted you out!
Moral of the Story: I have my spies, and they are my children.
2nd Moral: I’m sure my hubby finished the episode while I was at work.
3rd Moral: Never go to bed angry, watch a kdrama.

Yes, it certainly is possible to meet a Chaebol. You just have to know where to find them (political fundraisers would be one, although I am so NOT political, I had to go to keep funding for my various projects). Yes, I know my children rat me out to their dad any chance they get, but I have secrets with them that their dad doesn't even know. Bribery works well too! ;-P

@ally-le @kudoran speaking of chaebol, i actually went to the same school with few of my country share of kids chaebol (let say i went to one of my city version of gangnam's elite elementary & middle school - i hope you guys get me), and no, i'm unfortunately not one of them ?. One thing about them, (as i know them as a child) they are actually just like any other kids; some of the boys even wore filfthy and shabby uniform to school (being an elite school students, this is rather upseting the teachers) - kids being kids play football and everything they end up so dirty and didn't bother about it.
My point is: chaebols in real life turns out really are just the fancier version of us commoners. They still love ramyun, too.

@ally-le i ended up stalking your page and your level right now is somewhat your real-life. Hihihihi. Well, at least you can say to people "i'm on a royalty level. A princess actually picked up my ex".
But yes. My chaebol schoolmates mostly are goodlooking and rather has good grades too. Must be from the great care and healthy food during their mother pregnancy.
But hey. We found a real-life chaebol pattern: good looking, rather smart -educationally, bad dresser (esspecially male: branded yes, but might be shabby looking), and love junkfood.
Kdramas turn out potrayed them well, except no one never ate junkfood (ramyun/ fried chicken/ streetfood) no matter how rich they are.

Hi Everyone!
As always, I hope you are all doing well today!
The Beanie fan walls, continue to be fun to read as all of you show your humor, your creativity and of course your shared enjoyment of all things dramas!
This week:
Seven Day Queen - Still getting better and better each week, even at episodes 15 and 16! ....... But Myung-hye, I've never been completely on board with her but after this week, she's dead to me.
Suspicious Partner - I'm at the episodes where the cute little boy shows up. ....... Still enjoying our fun group of lawyers!
Lookout - You know, I watched 3 episodes of this, liked the show very much, but unfortunately, I've decided not to continue watching this after reading the recap for the last episode. ....... However, what I was left wondering though, was if Do-han actually set up the situation where the little girl was thrown from the roof or if he just used that terrible incident to advance his revenge plans?
School 2017 - I've tried watching all the School shows since 2015, but sadly, I just never get beyond a couple of minutes of the first episodes. Same thing happened this time.
That's all for now. ...... Take care everyone and have a great Friday!

Concerning Lookout: I'd say still give the show a chance, sure the finale isn't that great but it still has it's moments and it doesn't make you hate the drama. It's just... kinda there.
With the DoHan/YuNa situation, he was following the psycho kid (Who's name I've purposely erased from memory) around, having known that something wasn't quite right with him, planning to find a way to maybe use something the kid does to get closer to the head prosecutor. What happened was that he was following him around when the kid and YuNa went to the rooftop. He said he knew what was going to happen, but hesitated because if YuNa died he could use it in his revenge plan. Eventually he DID go to save YuNa, but he was to late.

Oh ok, interesting! Thanks for responding.
I might pick up Lookout again, just not right now. I think what it is more than anything was that I was a tad bit disappointed that our protagonists were outwitted in the end, if you will. It's not that the baddie in a story doesn't win sometimes, but here it kind of didn't make sense to me given what I had seen in the first 3 episodes.

Happy Friday, Beanies! I'm early to Open Thread today (which may or may not be because I'm lurking around trying not to read an anthology of poems I should be reading...). I picked up two shows this week plus a drama special!
School 2017: Despite my issues with the writing, I'm enjoying this a lot. Eunho and Taewoon are lukewarm for me, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of Daehwi and Sarang, and Daehwi's relationship with Taewoon. And how does Gyeongwoo know that Daehwi is hiding his true self? His offhand remark made him seem a lot more perceptive than his carefree image, so that has my curiosity piqued already.
Reunited Worlds: I hope I'm not inflating anyone's expectations, but I am in love with this. The story, flashbacks and all, is executed very smoothly, and I can already see its workings as a "healing" drama promised by the PD. This is my first time watching Yeo Jingoo since The Moon that Embraces the Sun, and he's doing great. Chaeyeon is perfect as the young Jungwon, and Lee Yeonhee (whom I haven't watched before) is holding her own as well. The child-adult casting matchups are very well done, both visually and in terms of the acting.
Page Turner: I'm only an episode in, but the page turner metaphor is very enchanting to me, both as a literature major and as someone who played the erhu for 16 years. I really like how the show fleshed out the pressures a young musician faces.
That's all! How's everyone's premiere week going?

I'm enjoying Reunited Worlds, too. I've wasted a lot of tissues already. Everyone has been great so far. Loving the cinematography and the transition also from past to present.
Page Turner resonated with me as well. I related to KSH's character the most as I also played piano at a very young age and my mom was the one who pushed me into it. It took her quite some time to realize that my heart wasn't really into it. I just did it to make her happy. I still love listening to classical music, though.

Beside Man Whoo Dies to Live, I enjoyed all of this week's premiere. The King in Love is better than I expected and everything and everyone is pretty ! I enjoyed School 2017 and seeing quite new faces as students is great. Reunited Worlds is in its way to become a healing drama. The atmosphere really suits this theme.

I think I might like Reunited World. The premise is interesting given the fallout of that event that happens early on. I'm happy to see Kwak Dong-Yeon again. I think I might really like Lee Yeon-Hee. I'm kinda on the fence with Yeo Jin-goo. His happy acting seems kinds forced--outside of that he seems to be solid. I can't wait to see it this turns into a noona romance though. That would be all kinds of interesting weird.

I think those flashback scenes with him smiling more might have been filmed early on, so he must've taken a while to get into the dorky character of Haesung. I recall YJG saying during the press conference that he worried about how to portray this side of HS. He's really good at emotionally weighty scenes.
I think the age difference is going to be interesting, and not just with the leads. On one level Haesung's siblings and friends have grown up and moved on with life, but inside each of them there's a part that's still clinging to/ stuck at 12 years ago. HS's reappearance seems to bring out the tension between their current selves and the part of them that has yet to move on, which is very fascinating.

I watched Page Turner in the past and I loved each of the characters. It had a simple but beautiful story of three students and how their lives became intertwined with each other.

Some dramas on Viki are region locked, but you should see it appear still. Hopefully, DramaFever picks them up after they've finished airing. As other people have already stated, you can check the other usual suspects for Reunited Worlds.
FYI, DramaFever will have Strongest Deliveryman when it starts airing next week. Not sure if either Viki or DramaFever will have Criminal Minds, so you might have to check the other sites.

I have read comments of beanies upset with the downvote button and want it removed.
My guess is that certain drama/actors' fans and likewise antis tend to spark off this kind of mass downvoting.
I have been neutral towards the downvote button because I don't care much for it. It doesn't stop me from speaking my mind. I also felt that an upvote button would be strange without a downvote counterpart.
However, mass downvoting reminds me of trolls and rabid fans commonly found elsewhere. Previously, these people try to write something which can be entertaining at times. Should we hear them out or give them the button?

To be honest, reading this post I had the sudden urge to become one of those people and 'Downvote' it. But I didn't.
I'm really not favorable towards the button itself, and just find it a cheap way for people to say "I disagree because I disagree, and you need to know nothing other then I disagree with this", as opposed to giving an actual constructive response explaining why you don't agree with the post.
But I have seen several posts with massive negative response simply for saying that something in a drama isn't to their liking, and it gets slightly blown out of proportion. And, to be honest, it makes it kind of intimidating if you want to do a post that has an unpopular opinion.

If I read comments that I like got downvoted I upvote it ha, ha, ha. Sometime I feel like I've accidently downvoted someone, though I did not do it actually, I upvote. If I read some irrational comment smell like troll, I don't vote, I brush it off "Whatever, people on internet these days..."

I personally don't like the downvote button, but I don't have problem with upvote button. It's like the system in facebook. There is a like button but you can't dislike.
If you agree with a post someone write but you don't have any new things to add, you can just press the upvote button. But if you don't agree, I think it's better to write and discuss the points that you don't agree with. Nowadays there's always a downvote in the post that criticize a drama or an actor. Just downvote, no post about what they disagree with.
I agree with you that it also could become an opportunity for mass downvoting.
Also, I miss the days when I can read all the post that beanies write from top to bottom and I can see a different perspective with their own response. It made the discussion place much more lively.
" I agree...
"+100 I agree...
" I'm sorry but I disagree..
Now I just read the post with a lot of upvote then move on to the next recap.

The mass downvoting don't just happen to posts that criticize a drama/actor, it also happens to posts are positive. That is why I conclude it's not just fans who downvote a criticism but also antis who downvote praises.
I agree that it's better to write. If you have nothing to say except "This drama sucks!" or "He/she sucks!" and don't bother to elaborate then you don't need the downvote button either.

I don't like it much. It's less that I'm personally bothered, since I haven't really been ganged up on much, but I see it happening. The thing is, in my view, it's not fair for the number of downvotes to show up on someone's user profile without any kind of qualifier of why (which would be impossible anyway). Out of the ten downvotes I currently have, 10/10 were because I expressed that I personally liked someone or something. I don't really see the positive purpose of that on the site. However, it doesn't negatively impact the fun I have on here enough to be a big issue for me, really.

In the beginning, I was pretty upset with the downvote as sometimes I just don't understand why'd someone downvote my comments though it's something positive. But as time goes by, I think I'm used to the system that I don't mind people downvoting my comments even if they don't give me any explanations or arguments.

Wow, folks! I made my comment about downvotes before reading yours. I guess I'm not the only one with them on my radar! I feel like I read or make respectful comments about opinions that have been receiving hasty downvotes! Sometimes, when I know I may be thinking something that others won't agree with, I will even acknowledge the other side before I share my own opinion. This week I even got a thumbs down for simply saying "I like ____." So I'm wondering if downvotes are "dislikes," (the conclusion one would make thinking of FB "likes), or "disagrees," which makes more sense. While thumbs-ups seem like agreements or likes, I feel like thumbs-downs are more negative than simply stating you disagree with something. And more than ANYTHING, I think I'm overthinking it! Hahaha. But it does make me less ready to share my opinion, and I do love reading all the (respectfully expressed) opinions on here!

I think you are definitely overthinking it. And if upvotes mean agree/like; then logic would serve that downvote means disagree/dislike. And if you can upvote without a comment, you should be able to do the same for downvote. Yes, people can be trolly. But you don't even know them, so what does it bother so many people. Now, dramabeans has gotten rid of it and I'll have to end up typing downvote instead. Bummer!

Totally agree with you. Most of the comments with downvotes does not deserve it at all. It's easily abused by overprotective fans of their favorite drama and actors.

Oh goodness yes, an edit option please. Another site I'm on shows that a comment has been edited to keep confusion at bay (since people sometimes edit in response to a question or comment, which then makes that response moot), and most people preserve an "Edited to Add" etiquette anyway.

"edit" could get confusing if people have already replied to the part you're about to edit out. Most of us seem to do ok by replying to ourselves to say what we really meant.
Since upvotes (along with being followed) seem to be big parts of our ranking system, do downvotes reduce our rant?????? I think it would be really bad if they do, since usually "I disagree" or "I'm a troll" don't mean the other person should be penalized.
Anyway, I'm in favor of nuking the thumb down button.

Also what I don't understand is that a lot of people were so upbeat about nam joo hyuk on WFKBJ, but they can't stand him on BOTWG, so opinions can be subjective. And it's unrealistic to expect that thousands of people who are reading this blog would share the same pov. Our tastes can't be alike, we like even the same shows for different reasons, so why not try to be a bit more tolerant towards other opinions, which doesn't necessarily match with their own? :S

Happy friday everyone :)
- I binge watched Forest of Secrets last week , and wow the drama delivers and I'm looking forward to seeing the next eps : 07 or DJ ...
Hwang Shi Mok starts to feel emotions he smiled and got angry and what's interesting it's that it's with different people :)
- I started Circle, I'm at ep 7 and just wow when I think A the drama shows B and then maybe C, I can't think straight while watching this drama. I haven't read all recap and discussion, but there is one thing bothering me : if Byul is really an alien, for what reason does she have the exact physionomy as humans (even if she changed her body in first ep) and why would the chip/bug work the same on her as for other human ?
- The Best Hit will end soon and I don't know how they will resolve all things and I can't figure out how this couple will make it till the end : he's from the past and well he's her friend's dad , I would understand some noble idiocy here ?
- three new shows started this week (School 2017, Reunited Worlds, Man who dies to live) but I might drop the latter . Waiting for 2 shows next week : Falsify with Namgoong Min ❤ and Criminal Minds with Lee Jun Ki ❤
- and I made my first gif thanks to beanies help hahaha ?
Have a nice weekend :) , thinking of Father is strange ep 41 preview please bring some cute Mi Young and Joong Hee couple moments ❤

Happy Friday!
Man, I am LOVING Reunited Worlds. It's just killing me already in all the right ways. Yeo Jin Goo is already nailing it and you could just power a large city with his smile. I still need to finish Circle, but I'm trying to savor it.
I've been binging the Thai Boys Love drama 2 Moons the Series. It's so good. I have one episode left and I plan to watch it once I finish all of my actual job type work. Ah, the perks of working from home on Fridays.
In other news, I sold my dad's car this week. It's been something I've put off for the past year after he passed away. I'm glad to have that burden removed. It also gives me the money to buy a floor loom tomorrow. Because I need more hobbies. I've been sucked down the rabbit hole of looking at baby wearing. Started Bad Thief Good Thief - The two brothers' fate & relationship are the highlight of the show for me. Just finished 6 epi, I'm going to take time watching this drama as it will be a very long journey. As far as I know based on this writer's past projects, second leads are always being given meatier and richer role than the main leads, and the main leads seem to be be just plain and dull especially in the middle onwards. So hopefully it will the same for Kim Ji Hoon and Im Joo Eun too. What bothers me, it seems it will be love triangle between these two brothers and one woman. aigoo, this is why second female lead always become crazy and psyho lol.

I always love non-romance romance. So let's say Stranger have romance - If this is what is called romance then i'm completely into it.
This is why i think romance genre many a times doesn't reflect the emotions involved in a print or tv media. By no means i would call Ms. Temper and nam-jung il having any romance.
I think that's one major reason i don't get most of korean romance shows. It all looks too superficial and fictional.

Since this is your very first School drama, this might turn out well for you. I'm not a huge fan of School franchise, although I watched some of them. Have you tried Hatsukoi or Bara no Nai Hanaya for Jdramas? I don't know how far is the romance in those dramas can satisfy you though, and probably those dramas's plot are too slow for some people. :)

Yes, Hatsukoi, a 2012 Jdrama. It is a drama which was less popular back in the days because of the synopsis but gained quite some positive reviews. And I assume you have watched/tried Unmei ni, Nita Koi (Destiny-Like Love)?

The romance is not the only topic in in Bara No Nai Hanaya, so probably it's not that strong too.

Happy Friday Beanies!
My OSTs arrived!!! My beautiful Chicago Typewriter and Liar and his Lover OSTs arrived!!!
So I spent the last few hours listening to them. While trying to studying for my korean spelling test tml, and realizing I was reciting lyrics more than I was learning spelling. ?
I will share some pics soon! Both have pictures inside from the dramas so I am one happy camper.
But! I am heartbroken that Kim Jae Wook isn't the lead with Seo Hyun Jin in Temperature of Love. I get it's a noona romance but they dangled this couple in front of me and now I feel cheated. Like I'm destined for SLS because I really want to experience swooning over Jae Wook when he isn't dismembering people. Ah well. ?
On the bright side, I am smitten with Sato Takeru. SMITTEN! ?
Finished all 3 Kenshin Movies! My favourite was still number one. I felt like they tried to introduce too many bad guys and I lost out on every day moments which I craved for the second 2. And Kaoru was much too much of a wallflower for my liking. But all in all, it was a very enjoyable watch and I wish I had watched it earlier. Now I am revisiting all my old favourite Kenshin fanfiction stories. Lol. Talk about a walk down memory lane. ?
Lastly, any bakers/pastry people here? I'm planning to attempt another cake (this time chocolate) but it needs a spray gun. ? Has anyone used one before?
Also, hazelnut praline with melted chocolate to make Royaltine is my new favourite thing to eat with vanilla ice cream. I'm in love!
Hope everyone has a good weekend ahead!

Yay, I can post in the OT this week! It has been a very, very stressful couple of weeks. Thankfully, I have dramas to soothe my soul.
What I'm Watching:
Fight My Way: Aw, my kids are so bummed this show has ended. I liked that there was actual character growth, though I thought it gave short shrift to some important story elements. MMA fighting is weird. How can grown men make a living smacking each other around?
The Best Hit: This ridiculous show has turned out to be a lot of fun. I tuned in because of the time travel, but the performances really hooked me. I find it sad, too, because Ji-hoon and 'Drill' (who gets frigging stage fright!) are not going to be able to satisfy their dreams of stardom because they're still buying into that corporate music system.
The Phantom Detective: Lee Ji-hoon as a screwed up federal agent taking down enemies of the state. Shot like a noir thriller, and co-stars a couple of great kid actors.
What I'm Waiting For:
Criminal Minds: Yissssss. Lee Joon-gi solving crimes on my television!
Mystery Queen, Season 2: YAAAAY!!!
K-drama Library:
Recently, I added Tunnel(the movie), A Hard Day, Chief Kim, and Secret Garden to the catalog - Secret Garden had six holds before I even got it to the shelves - apparently, our romance patrons have been dying for it. Any other romances that you'd recommend I order? (I run to cop shows & supernatural shenanigans, so I don't know.)
I also added a bunch of Korean language-learning materials!

Hi Beanies!
It's Friday again, how time flies! My week has been productive so far with kdramas and life. So, I went to the interview thanks to beanies that encouraged me to go. It went well, though I think I could had done better. It's really great to learn that there are so many aspects that I need to improve myself when communicating my thoughts. I also have good news which I got another interview in early Aug, and it's something that I wanna do in my life, so I'm kinda excited about it!
Anyway, this week has also been great with my kdrama life. I love Mon-Tues now because I love BOTWG, School 2017 and TKL! It's great though it's weird that there's no more FMY. As for Wed-Thurs, I haven't gotten a chance to watch Reunited Worlds yet, but I'm planning to do so. I tried watching Man Who Dies to Live, and I think most of beanies already know the cultural issue going on with that drama and I decided not to continue watching that drama anymore. I'm also kinda sad that my weekend dramas are gonna end this week. I don't think I'm ready to say goodbye to The Best Hit and Duel, but at the same time I'm excited for Strong Deliveryman and Rescue Me. Anyway, next week is the premiere of Falsify and Criminal Minds! I'm so excited for it!

You are right. Previously the issue with black ppl (SNL) if I'm not mistaken. Their reasons
is this is only a fictional story based on imaginary country ? Well since it is fiction story, why don't it be a total fiction without even using anyone's religion & culture.
They never learn. Believe me, after this it will happen again and again with different religion and cultures too. Now I hope someone can produce a drama or movie and insult their cultures in it, and see if they will be offended or not. lol.

I hate the fact that the rating is high, but most of international viewers hate it. I just can't accept it because the production team consists huge number of people, it's weird to know that all of them are lazy enough to do a research, especially the scriptwriter and the director.

I searched about MWDTL's screen writer, but there's not much info that I can get. I assume she's a newbie. I often think that many Korean writers don't really have a clue on how to use the internet, or computer tech in general. That is the one area that I see so many mistakes and really stupid tropes about in k-dramas.

I've thought this before as well - when a drama bungled up the depiction of my country. It was a sobering realisation - this really is a one-way love.

July 21, 2017 at 5:12 PM
In this case, I think the scriptwriter has some preconceived notion of how Muslim and the Middle East should be like, probably based on stereotypes, and thus didn't bother to even try researching. Since the comedic elements were mostly based on these notions, the scriptwriter probably wasn't at all interested in reality.

I usually criticize kdrama scriptwriters the most. They leave no oppurtunity to show disrespect towards the audience they mock oyr IQ. They always come up with horrendous scenarios snd yet they get the job. The qualities of the shows easily portray their abilities. Mostly they copy-paste content from other sources. This is why i don't expect these lousy freeloaders to labour and respect the sensitivitrs of others. Director's job is to transform text into visual.

It's weird, in literally the first five minutes I thought she was doing pretty good and that we might be getting another Miss Korea-level performance from her...but then she just got sooooo awkward as the show went on. At the beginning of the episode, she did well giving off the same vibe as Jung Chae-yeon, but by the end she felt like a completely different character. I'm pretty worried about connecting with her, but I really want this drama to work. Haven't watched the second set of eps yet. Hopefully she improved...

Maybe you can give it a try for a couple more episodes? If it really doesn't work for you, then it's best to drop it since she is a lead after all and will have plenty of screentime.
I haven't seen Lee Yeon-hee before, so I didn't find her acting jarring. Only after seeing comments on the highlight trailer by Korean YouTube users did I notice that occasionally her intonation is odd (maybe 2 sentences in the first 4 episodes), but it's no big issue for me, especially because I'm not a native speaker.

Hey guys! I've only been watching Reunited Worlds--and only the first two episodes at that--but I like it. The cinematography is gorgeous and very cinematic and I adore the score. The whole show has a very dreamy vibe that I hope it retains throughout its run. Yeo Jin-gu is just so full of life and he is a joy to watch! This is my first time really watching him in anything.
Have you guys been using kocowa.com at all? What are your thoughts? I do not want to pay for 3 subscriptions, so I am trying to decide if kocowa is worth dropping my DF subscription (no way I'm dropping Viki! Lol). We'll see how many shows they continue to get versus DF and then I will make my decision. Also, do they have a mobile app yet? I hope they get a Roku app soon, too. Saw your comment after I posted. Totally agree. It might be the only way to watch any drama, legally, in a minute. A bunch of dramas licenses expired on Viki recently and they've popped up on Kocowa. Guessing it'll be the same for DramaFever in a minute.

After reading about Kocowa, I searched Korean news outlets. Like Lord Cobol below, MBC, SBS, KBS joined together to form this. So now it seems like dramas from these 3 big broadcasting companies will be offered exclusively through Kocowa. I don't welcome this since Kocowa is only offered in North America. So I did a quick search on Viki for new dramas set to premier in next 2 months. The only drama Viki as secured license at this point is "While You Were Sleeping". Other dramas such as "Man Hole" "Strongest Deliveryman" "Falsify" have not secured license through Viki yet.

Am I the only one upset that it seems that Kocowa will be the only site getting licensing for all the new dramas? My problem is that I watch on my tvs, one is a smart tv and the other through my blu ray player. I only watch one or two on my computer if by chance DF or Viki doesn't get it. Kocowa said they don't if or even when they'll get apps for smart tv's, consoles and dvd players. Plus they are more expensive. I don't wanna give up my kdrama addiction!!!! UGH!

DramaFever is $4.99 a month or $49.99 annually. Kocowa is $69.99 for the year. I think they'll find that they won't have as many subscribing as they thought. I agree with @windsun33, they are essentially putting DramaFever and Viki out of business. And here I was worried about Netflix getting everything.

After going like half a year without watching anything, my drama addiction has taken over my life haha. This week I picked up Life Special Investigation Team, and just could not put it down (which might have had something to do with Eom Ki-joon being in it...). It's kind of amazing to see a workplace-place-comedy-cum-procedural kdrama that actually works. It's fun, it's different, it's relatively smart, and in addition to Eom Ki-joon being his amazing self, there have been some pretty glorious cameos (Choi Jong-hwan <3).
I'm slightly behind on Woman of Dignity (just finished episode 7). I don't ever really feel compelled to watch it, but I usually enjoy myself when I do, especially now that Kim Hee-seon and Kim Seon-ah are done warming up. I do wish the writer were more consistent--I appreciate her interest in looking beyond the surface of things (particularly her characters--Ah-jin plays the chaebol wife but that doesn't define her, and despite her scheming Bok-ja has real human feeling), and sometimes she surprises me with flashes of real insight, but she rarely takes things far enough, and misses as many opportunities as she takes. And then there's the tonal dissonance: she just doesn't seem comfortable slipping between comedy, melodrama, and emotional realism. Frankly, she should cut out the wannabe A Wife's Credentials filler (I don't care about Rich Housewife A, B, and C, especially since I can't tell B and C apart) and leave the realism to Kim Yoon-cheol. That's his specialty--he was able to reign in the OTT script of Que Sera, Sera so beautifully, for example--and the quiet moments in this drama are when he really shines.

Omo, another single human being-nie on this planet and on dramabeans that has watched Life Special Investigation Team apart from me and my sister!
I love how focused and lowkey it is. And the jokes..they're so bold, they make me wonder how they were able to lass censoring. I loved that the show stayed focused on the investigations without romance and Makjang overtaking the story. Each character its quirks: fatty but brilliant lawyer, farty (lol) but brilliant officer with a blunt tongue, the straight forward and sharpshooting female lead, the hot and seemingly ditzy but surprisingly efficient office secretary e.t.c. And it wasn't too ambitious too. Loved it!!;

Yay another fan :D I only found it because it was on Mr. X's Top 500 list, and I'm so glad I tried it.
Yeah, it's just a really well-made procedural. The cases are twisty and turny, but also morally/thematically complex, so it never feels like things are happening for no reason, and the characterizations are really well done, like you said. I have a huge crush on Park Chan-ho (Eom Ki-joon), farts and all haha. And it's actually funny! (And on top of all that, it has a fat character and a pretty unambiguously gay character, and manages to treat them like human beings.) I'm sad it's only twelve episodes, though--I could easily have watched 5 times as many lol.

Eom Ki-joon gives life to characters without going overboard both on stage and on screen. I've been on a musical high lately and it's the most thrilling thing to watch and hear him sing his heart out.
I like your review on "Women of Dignity." Keep it coming, rant and all.
I think I have both "A Wife's Credentials" and "Que Sera, Sera" on my favorite shows.

Eom Ki-joon <3 I've always liked him, but lately I've been crushing on him really hard haha. He and Oh Man-seok are proof that musical actors can do anything.
A Wife's Credentials is definitely one of my favorites! I really, really want to rewatch it, but there are so many other shows I haven't seen. I think Que Sera, Sera is Kim Yoon-cheol's best work. The directing is just amazing.

I love Kim Yoon-cheol's Samsoon too. That was the first rom.com that I ever got into but you are right with Que Sera being his best work.
I really miss Ahn Pan-seok :(. It's bad enough we don't have Jung Ha-yeon anymore. Talents that Dramaland can't afford to compensate.
Oh Man-seok rules on stage. These young pretty boys can't compare.
I look for his name every time there is a new sageuk is the news. I'd really love to see him in one again.
I always have a thing for stage actors and I'd go out of my to support them. I'll let you have Eom for now hahaha.
I'm watching "Stranger" and much of Jo Seung-woo's appeal to me is his stage presence. I prefer him on stage because I feel like that's where his heart is at.
No matter how much success he finds on the big screen he feels more at home on stage.

I've heard a lot of good things about Stranger! idk why I chose Woman of Dignity out of everything airing, but I'm sticking with it lol. It can be quite good at times.
Kim Sam-soon rocks, as does Can We Get Married. Personally, I prefer both those shows to QSS, but I think QSS is where Kim Yoon-cheol shines the most, if that makes any sense. There are so many unforgettable moments in QSS thanks to him (and Jung Yumi <3).
If there were any justice in dramaland, Eom Ki-joon and Oh Man-seok would be up to their eyeballs in lead roles. At least they'll have longevity, with that kind of talent. They'll be like Kim Kap-soo 2.0.
(Thanks for letting me have him haha. Can I borrow Oh Man-seok sometimes?)

I watch "Stranger" like a present day sageuk. It's based mostly on the current politics leading up to Park's impeachment.
I'm rooting for "Woman of Dignity" even though I'm not watching it. That's just what jTBC fangirls do right? Lol
Jung Yumi is love! I'm excited that she accepted a drama.
With all that talents, Eom Ki-joon and Oh Man-seok are going to be around for a long time. They can do stage, dramas and films.
Kim Gap-soo <3.
(I figured I should share because I have too many talented internet boyfriends Lol.
Oh Man-seok is taken, sorry :(

Nothing is on my plate currently. I was watching Princess Agents but it turned out to be a reincarnation of the General and I situation. I also don't feel the urge to keep up with Liu Shi Shi's current drama as well. There aren't any good Chinese dramas coming up too, which is a bummer.
Things are better on the Korean side, but I've also dropped The Best Hit despite following it though to episodes 25/26. My problem with romance in dramas is that I prefer the ambiguous stage to the steady stage. The chemistry between the leads pre-couple was much better. Also, Kim Min-jae is just straight up annoying in the drama. His character contributes to it and I think his vibe too just doesn't appeal to me. I'm looking forward to Criminal Minds and Kim Ji-suk's drama to break this slump.

I've been eyeing that Princess Agents so it's good to see some feedback. No interest in The Kings Woman coming up in Aug?
It's funny you dropped The Best Hit with Kim Min-Jae being one of the reason because he's one of the reason I kept watching. I can't stand Lee Se Young. Her character and side of romance does nothing for me.

The plot of King's Woman is not really my type. I really like Dilraba, but I don't like all of her upcoming dramas, except for the rumoured one with Yang Yang.
The problem with Kim Min-jae's character is that he's the guy who's using the fact that he's a friend to woo you when you've already rejected him. Not once, but many times. And he's crossing the boundaries drawn, making things extremely uncomfortable. In real life, that's annoying af.

Yea I really like Dilraba and Zhang Vin so I'm going to check it out. Hopefully it's good.??
Ji Hoon's character really could have been better written. His persistence wasn't cute for sure. The writers could have had him confess, accept her rejection, have some heart ache, throw himself into his work, then repair the friendship and perhaps giving that intense idol girl a chance. I dunno why they choose the direction they went...it's outdated. That being said I love Ji Hoon with everyone else (that wasn't Woo-seung) there he was funny, thoughtful, brave, etc.

I don't really mind them, but perhaps it'd look a bit more balanced if it were something like Reddit (can't see them until you go below 0). I feel like a thumbs down is better if you think that the comment doesn't contribute to any part of the discussion though. Even if you disagree and they make a good point/they've articulated it well, give it a thumbs up!

Yeah! I think the thumbs down should be a hey check this comment it's abusive thing or it's super out of place/doesn't contribute or it's not following the rules. I saw someone posting in a recap about the following episodes and I was like whoa first of all dang how'd you see the next episode so quick then hey post that on your wall or wait for the next recap you're messing with the discussion. I see something like that getting a down vote but just saying you like/dislike someone or a drama...that just doesn't make sense.

Anyone watching Running Man? Me and husband always watch it every week and I am so glad Jeon So Min joined the gank, who would have thought she's such a (cute) oddball? She's like female Lee Kwang Soo but she does even more random things that are hilarious.
The only thing I just recently noticed I can't stand is the editing. The repetitive slow-mos and rewinds make any revelations anti-climatix and annoying to watch.

Also watching High Kick Through The Roof for Yoon Shi Yoon and Lee Kwang Soo.
It started off funny and I watched 10++ episodes in no time, but then the little bratty daughter gets a little too much attention and I can't stand her. I do understand that she's a produce of her family who gives her little attention whilst at the same time showering her with luxury in place of family connections, but I just don't get why is her bratty actions considered funny (in case we don't get that it's supposed to be funny, they insert laughing backsound). And also why do everyone, especially the grandpa, bullies the dad. Like I get that he's slow and not the smartest bloke, but again, the show is making fun of him to get laugh out of it (not my laugh). Is this how all family / weekend dramas are like? I get that this show is also a bit outdated so things may not be as dramatic now, but I just need to vent. I am currently pregnant and I am taking lots of notes on how to NOT raise a child from this sitcom.

Beanies!! You are my people!! I've been going through a great kdrama depression re-watching old favourites even breaking my golden rule to never watch a 100 episode drama just to feel like i'm keeping pace (too late to stop now)...but alas, nothing has enthralled me or kept my attention. I blame my high expectations. Currently i am watching school 2017 (fingures crossed it doesn't dissapointment, 2015 was a huge letdown) but i can finally breathe guys, thanks to you.
Thanks to you i've discovered forest of secrets/stranger (what is the actual title?) The korean title definitely has secrets in it. Anyway, i love it!! I feel reborn (already worried about what'll happen to me when this series finishes). The pace could be quicker but other than that, cast, plot...i'm too excited after 1 episode. Anyway, i'm off to immerse myself (weekend plans sorted!)

I was able to make time in these last two weeks so I was able to watch several movies and get further in my drama watching. Haven't started any currently airing dramas though.
I am more than halfway done with "Golden Apple" (at episode 18). I am enjoying it quite well as the characters grew up. I like that the main characters are just regular people struggling to make a living in Korea and that they aren't chaebols or anything. I also like the setting of it being in the 60's-80's South Korea, which is a setting that isn't explored in dramas lately. The acting is pretty green and uneven at times from the main cast, but Kim Woon Kyung's writing is good at making them feel like real people.
I watched a number of Korean movies as well. Finished "Okja" a week ago, Bong Joon Ho's latest. It was pretty good as expected of Bong Joon Ho. It had a mix of dark humor and disturbing elements as he gave a message about capitalism and the meat industry.
I also watched Kim Ki Young's 1977 film, "Ieoh Island." A mystery thriller about a business man, accused of murdering a reporter, who goes the reporter's home land, an island inhabited by women who practice shamanism, as he tries to solve the mystery. Sort of like a Korean version of "The Wicker Man," but it has its own twists and turns so that it's not a direct copy. Kim Ki Young is a director who is cited as a huge influence among many Korean directors like Bong Joon Ho, Park Chan Wook, Kim Ki Duk and many more, but a bit forgotten in recent times. This movie was very strange in a good way with innovative camera techniques and has themes such as environmentalism, shamanism, and gender roles which was very edgy considering the Korean government at the time. The ending is absolutely crazy, I won't forget it for a long time. Kim Ki Duk definitely took a thing or two from this movie. I watched it on the Korean Film Archive on YouTube.

Also watched "How to Steal a Dog" from 2014. A heartwarming family movie about a young girl who decides to steal a dog in the belief that the reward money she would get from the owner will solve her problems at home. A nice little movie appropriate for people of all ages carried by the child actors and great supporting actors like Kim Hye Ja, Choi Min Soo, Lee Cheon Hee, Kang Hye Jung. Lee Hong Ki is funny as the delivery man the kids blackmail to do their bidding. A heartwarming and endearing family film with some serious depth. Perfect movie to cool off and leave with a big smile at.
Finished "Sorum," a psychological horror film by Yoon Jong Chan from 2001 starring Kim Myung Min and Jang Jin Young. About a guy who starts a love affair with his neighbor after helping her dispose of her abusive husband's corpse while the apartment they live in carries a huge secret. Not very scary but very atmospheric as the main characters begin to mentally collapse. First leading roles for the two actors and it became a breakthrough of sorts in that they won awards for their performances and deservedly pivot to bigger roles.
I did not mean to write an entire essay and I had to split it up into two, but I did so have a good day.

omg Golden Apple <3 Kyung-sook is one of my favorite characters of all time, and the childhood section is just unforgettable. (It is a shame about the acting, though. None of the younger set did that well imo, but I always had the suspicion that Kim Woon-kyung reduced Geum-shil's role because the actress was so bad.)

In “Cruel Palace” episode 49, after king Injo’s death, the narrator says
변변한 이름을 남긴 후궁을 두지 않아 딸은 귀인 조씨와의 사이에 난 효명옹주가 유일했다
which DramaFever translates as
“He did not have a concubine he really liked, and so his and consort Jo’s child, princess Hyomyeong, was his only daughter”.
I think the second part about the only daughter is right, but the translation of the first, 변변한 이름을 남긴 후궁을 두지, doesn’t seem right to me. Any help in clearing this? Thank you.

Anyone know where a good reference--online or in English-book-form-- would be to find out more about what supernatural creatures/stories there are in Korea? I've been sitting on an idea that contains a doekkabi (I had a dream about it before our beloved Goblin came out), a gumihyo, and I really need to find out more about the older creatures like the three legged crow (I'm trying to find out a hierarchy of the 'gods' in Korea--a pecking order) for a while, but haven't moved forward partly because I want to write authentically. The story can move around the established hierarchy, but I want to get it right-feeling.
Also, I'm so pumped about season 2 of Mystery Queen!

Hmmm. A lot of my favorite Victorians are men, so I can't be too much help haha. You can't go wrong with George Elliot, especially Middlemarch. A lot of people who are not me love Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and it's probably closer to what you're looking for, but personally I would recommend Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
You could also try House of Mirth by Edith Wharton. It was published in the early 1900s, but it's about 1880s New York (so tail end of the Victorian Era), which is the era Wharton grew up in. It's a novel of manners just like Austen and Gaskell's stuff, except she's less interested in satire than in critique (which would put her closer to Gaskell I guess?). It's probably one of the best books I've read and a personal favorite of mine, but it's also super depressing.

Speaking of George Eliot Middlemarch is very good, i second juniper's recommendation. For Trollope I would recommend you start with Can You Forgive Her. The Palliser novels (Can You Forgive Her is the first one) have two of my favorite female characters of all time, Lady Glencora Palliser and Madame Max Goesler. Madame Max in particular is a badass.

Hello Beanies! Its almost midnight here and I am currently sneaking around with the wifi router since I needed to get my DB fix. I have very limited internet that I am supposed to use till the end of this month so no more drama downloads for me for a while. :( Luckily for me I have a backup stash of favorite dramas on my hard drive.
So I spent most of this week watching older dramas like Kim Sam Soon. OMG I had forgotten how funny this drama is? And I spent the better part of yesterday giggling my way through the whole drama. This was one of the few dramas where I loved the second lead because his scenes were so hilarious. He was a slimy, shameless bastard but boy was it fun to watch Sam Soon burst his balls after every ridiculous love deceleration. I had also forgotten how much I used to love Hyun Bin (this and secret garden started an obsession) that is till his Jekyll and Hyde drama which promptly dropped me off his bandwagon. So fickle is the drama lovers heart no?
I am also catching up on Nine time time travel which I hadn't watched before for some reason. So far I am just on episode 4 and the twists have just started so I am super excited to know where it goes from here!

I'm thinking of watching it with my husband. Maybe I'll wait until it has finished airing.

GUYSSSSSSSSSSSS! WHERE ARE MY CHICAGO TYPEWRITER FANS AT?!
I know I'm late in the game, but I literally just finished "Chicago Typewriter" and I was absolutely blown away at how good it was! I can't believe I waited until now to finish it! D: But, I'm kinda glad I waited for it to finish airing because I don't know if I would have been able to wait for it while it was still airing! AHHHHHHH! I cannot believe how brilliant that drama was! I loved all the characters, even the villains because they all played their characters so well, but I especially loved the trio. Makes me want to have a friendship like that too! *sighhhhhhhhhhhh* I'm so sad it's over now. I finished it in two days!
Okay, I'm done! Just wanted to share with my fellow beanies how much I fell in love with Chicago Typewriter! :D

Are there are any Japanese Movie fans here? I need to watch some newer Japanese Movies (not anime) for a project. Does anyone know where I can find some?
Thanks in advance :) <3

I know it's too soon to be shipping Nam Ji-hyun with someone else (Jibong forever), but every time I see her radiant smile, I'm reminded of Park Bo-gum. I'd love for the two of them to be in a drama together; preferably something food-centric, so that I can watch Bogummie eat.
