Beanie level: Chaebol’s poor doppelganger

So is it just me or does Yang se-jong look ridiculously hot in Temperature of Love? I can’t put my finger on the why/how of it, but just that exercising scene with his short sleeves rolled up and amidst all the rain he looks super hot. And his voice is so soothing! This is my first time watching him in anything so all this is hitting me all at once.

Is anyone watching The King\’s Woman? I\’m not a huge fan of Chinese dramas, the few I tried left me disappointed. I see a lot of posts about TKW though and they all seem very angsty which I\’m totally in the mood for. But not if the story is over shadowed by too much CGI and exaggerated action sequences. Thoughts?

    Just started it this weekend but the action scenes were so good,not exaggerated. Actually 1 of the highlights for me.I wasnt that bothered by the few CGIs.

    yup full of angst,though I’m still hoping for a happy ending.

    (Cmon show,I want Raba & ZBB together,happily. It’s their 3rd drama already. And next one,ZBB is 2nd lead,again)

      Lol I’m in the mood for lots of angst but yes I do want a happy ever after at the end of the road. Here’s hoping the writers are not as sadistic on this one.

    I like the show so far. It’s not the best that’s out there and it probably will be more angsty as it goes along. But the action is definitely not exaggerated in this one, neither is there much CGI. As a matter of fat I don’t recall any CGI, and that’s one of the issues I have with Chinese dramas too.

    I dislike like 99% of kdrama kisses. It’s rare to find a good one and even rarer to find an actress who can do it right!

    At first I was mesmerized by KNG but Kim Ah Joong is Awesome! Please send those actresses to her!

      Kim ah Joong is always great at least when it comes to actually kissing like a mature adult woman. You are right we need to send those other actresses to her to at least teach them to close their eyes when they are kissing. That always creeps me out! KNG though I wasn’t expecting since this is my first drama of his.

Also, I loved how Heo Im takes care of her. Its so sweet but also simultaneouly funny? And that whoel scene where the nurse is trying to stich her up adn Heo Im is just jhovering in the background liek a mother hen. And then when she\’s liek \”um are you her boyfriend?\” Heo Im\’s adamant \”What? No!\” followed immediatly by \”not yet\” LOL!!! And his face when the nurse hurts Yeon Kyung like he just looks like he trusted her and she betrayed him in the worst way possible! So Much Fun!

I also love the bed scene where he just kind of tucks her in adn then they wake up tangled up in each other\’s arms. And the nurse\’s scandalous reaction when she finds them and the way Yeon Kyung just shoves Heo Im off the bed like when did you get up here? And hes just: \”you asked me to last night. You said it was cold-\” and Yeon Kyung has to shush him again!

And yes that kiss scene. That beautiful kiss scene. That whole buildup was done so freaking well? Just thinking about how hard it must be to be passionate onscreen with a billion people looking on as they shoot the scene. But they did it so well, I felt the tension and then the ultimate passion when they finally kissed after 12 freaking episodes! So worth it though! So, so worth it! #Live up to your name

Aside from that kiss, and that\’s a big aside, ep 11-12 were chock full of such good character beats. I\’m so glad that Heo Im has finally seen that his greed is leading his down a dangerous path and actively decides to turn his back on all that. As worried as I am about what this means for the future I\’m content for how thing stand now.

Things I loved about these 2 episodes:
> Heo Im and Yeon Kyung dressing up as a married couple with those kids in Joseon. That meadow scene was so beautifully done that I can easily see them getting married and living their lives out there in Joseon. Of course but the peace never lasts.
>That editing of that ending cliffhanger in Ep11 is done so beautifully that for a few beats it looks like the time travelling needles didn\’t work and Heo Im might actually die. was genuinly scared that the needles had stopped working and this brings to forefront the question of how long the needles can actually keep working for each time travellor
>Heo Im wanting to die to get to Yeon Kyung when he realizes she was left behind. The frantic way he searches for a way to get back to her and the way he desperatly looks for her when he does get back.
>That whole exchange between them once they find each other again was so intimate and honestly calls to mind a married couple.
>The way this whole dire situation gets turned on its head and becomes hilarious once they reach the hospital and Heo Im just loses his cool and the way Yeon Kyung just keeps trying to shush him! LOL!!

Okis I now watched that kiss 3 times. Kim Nam Gil biting his lips at the end of that. And looking like he wanted to kiss her some more?? OMG WTF is happening I need to breathe! *swoons again*

Also, who the hell knew acupuncture pressure points could be so freaking hot??? Like I don\’t know about you, but I needed to remind myself to breathe after watching that. What is Kim Nam Gil??
