Totally totally enjoyed it…and I did tear up a bit when they 1st sang a Beast song and when they talked about the comeback on Beast Debut Anniv. Aside from the great track list, one of what I love about kpop concerts is the fan events. Last night, the each attendee was given a slogan written in Hangul which meant “Let’s stay together through thick and thin”

As expected — this Noona fan is feeling her age.But I’m so glad to fly 1,161.95 kms to see a 2-hr plus concert of these men who I first saw in 2009. I may have seen more kpop groups over the years but these guys have always had my heart right from the get-go when they sang “Bad Girl” in their most cringe-worthy style ever,in my opinion. And like they say in this fandom, Let’s See Each Other For A Long Time!

    and @umbrellaman, I did the slogan but had to submit it to organizers upon entering the venue but they would be forward to Highlight’s management.

    Awesome story!! I am glad you had a blast!! It’s so great to be able to see these artists live. It kinda feels like an extra special treat! 😊

    PS. I totally get the whole noona fan thing = tired + “old” (at least compared to all the teeny boppers!) Hahahaha. ?Drove 7 hrs to see BTS and drove back the next day. I just about died. Had to work the next day…😑

      The things we do for these guys,I complain but I’d do it all over again..hahaha

I was suppose to anticipate only 1 more concert to spend on, Highlight’s “Can You Feel It?” if they’d have one in Manila. but CNBlue is coming

      hi @kayedrama most likely the most expensive would probably around 253USD & cheapest might be around 58 USD comparing it with GD’s & Taeyang’s concerts in the same venue this Sept.

      I’m going,I’ve always wanted to watch CNBlue and FTIsland live.heard their lives are soooo good.

        Wow!! I saw Taeyang just last week. Great show btw. I was supposed to be seeing Linkin Park next month…but you know…😢 Unfortunately, we don’t get too many kpop concerts in the US. I was stoked that Taeyang was playing in my home city. Meaning I didn’t have to go all the way down to LA.

          sad about LP.I saw them once before during Singapore GP. Awesome performance.

          I’m very excited to see Taeyang,and good to know 1 Beanie at least already saw his show and enjoyed it. First time to see solo acts in concert,GD and then TY.

          I feel really lucky that I live near the metropolitan area in Manila,just a few hour drive away from most concert venues, mostly just due to the traffic situation.

I said I’d watch it when its done but I was too impatient.and here I am by Ep 5, logic has officially left the window. Vin Zhang AND Ying Zheng are so charming.

      so far so good,though I’m just at Ep 6 out of the 40/48 (?) episodes. though some scene transitions are surprising,acting wise generally good & the costumes are so pretty

      seriously doing it,brought my limited art supplies.though it might be small,A4 size due to concert venue restrictions.

      thank you and I will definitely have fun,maybe with a few tears in between.so glad the encore songs are hype/party songs instead of their usual encore songs.i dont want extra eye baggge,i already get them from watching kdramas.

      *3 group comebacks
      *2 members releasing albums digitally (Dongwoon & Junhyung)
      *solo comeback (GK)
      concerts in other places other than JP & KR

      i really hope things turn well,it’s different since they’ve invested thei personal moneys when they started their own agency

        Are they doing a concert in your country? Or has that already happened?

        Also, when is their comeback? I hope it doesn’t clash with the upcoming BTS one because that would be a losing battle! (I have come to accept that however good you might be, you can’t win over EXO and BTS.. Their fandoms will make sure of that.. Even Wanna One fans are like that)

          No concert in Manila (yet) but they had 1 in Hong Kong and tomorrow in Taipei. I’m flying to Taipei in an hour to watch them.

          Comeback date is on Beast debut anniv 10.16.17 😭

          Exactly,just looking what happened when EXO came back.They’d probably sweep the music show awards like Wanna One. Many groups are coming back in Oct, Nuest W on 10.10. And with their following after Produce 101,they might get their 1st win this comeback

            Ah yes.. Even Samuel was charting high.. Produce 101 has had a good effect on everyone related.. Bad on everyone not related to it! I feel bad for Nuest somehow! And I am really liking JR, their leader, in his variety appearances..

            I am just hoping that when Winner comeback in December, there is no EXO/BTS hangover… I will probably love their songs anyway (yes I am becoming biased!) but I hope they win too!

            Hello! Yup,Hyunseung was with Beast until April 2016,and he could have been with Bigbang.still close with BB and Se7en.

            I like Jonghyun too especially on Night Goblin.He was cute too on Knowing Bros.and I do hope Nuest would get their 1st win.

            Yes yes about Winner’s Dec comeback..that “4” concept.so glad things are better for Winner this year.

    His voice is sooo good. I remember I cried when I first listened to “October Rain” but didn’t expect to also find myself crying when I heard the live version, but he’s able to convey a lot of emotion in his voice.

      It was not even 2 hours post hurricane, he said a couple shingles were blown off and he was headed there to buy new ones. I’m like, “Is anything even open?” He’s like, well I went to three stores including Lowe’s and they’re not open, but I thought I’d try one more.” Me: ?🏻‍♀️

I like a LOT of k-groups/musicians..
but I’ve been wary of fandoms. Highlight’s fans (Light) seriously gave me goosebumps with their fanchants and fan events.

      especially for newer groups.that’s why i try not to follow newer groups and just keep up with my older groups.

    Same. I’ll claim being part of the fandom for older groups since fans tend to be older and more chill but some of these newer groups are full of saesangs and kiddos that I just can’t deal with. There’s always exceptions to the rule though on both sides.

      The newer fans scare me away from their groups.As much as I’d like to check new groups,I cant totally avoid seeing/hearing things about their fans.That’s why I just keep up with older groups and listen to new groups’ songs only
