      Ha! The joke is on you, you I say -cuz I anyway end up with panda eyes! DB till 12 and then my dad wakes me up at 5:30am!!!!!! Good for me though, I have no classes! 😛

        And no class? Are you done with college then?! I vaguely remember you mentioning taking up a foreign language class sometime back and assumed you were a undergrad/masters student

          Hahaha… yes! And same! Even if I am not woken up, my eyes just open at 6! It’s like my body just doesn’t understand the importance of sleep! The worst is when I have nightstays with friends and we are up till 4 chatting/watching sth and then I wake up at 7!!

          Yup.. I got done with my post grad around 5 years ago! Language class is correct- Spanish on weekends just cuz I wanted to learn a new language and had taken it up long before I knew kdramas.. otherwise the obvious choice would have been Korean!

        Hi. We’re home today. I managed to read two and a half books, which was nice as well as do some walking. Corsica is very beautiful both on the coast and inland. My brother and sister-in-law took us to some of their favourite places (food usually involved somewhere!).

            I took two books and read both so now I’m reading the Rum Diary by Hunter S Thompson. I’ll catch up on the dramas I’m already watching but I have a lot to do for the next few weeks. The concert is on 27th October then we are booked on a basketmaking course in Ireland at the end of November. What about you?

    Saaame. I think I’ll give it a shot this weekend, though. I ended up deciding to just wait on AoY2 to end and just binge. I can’t take the waiting. Watched one episode and decided to hold off because I don’t need that kind of obsessive sub stress right now.

    Gosh the beanie effect is terrifying!! It’s made me watch so many dramas I would have just passed over and destroyed any semblance of real world vs kdrama world balance i had!

    But I’ll have to admit.. most of the dramas were worth it.. I’m resisting AOY2 & Lingerie girls purely cuz the days they run on my schedule is like the devils.. plus I already watch 2 weekend shows.. sigh.

      I am still holding on because I am also simultaneously going through a kdrama slump! I did manage to finish School 2017 despite the slump and all cuz of beanies and their wall posts!

      I had followed Produce 101 since the beginning but never really focused on him that much.. But I have since then, seen him on WI, HT and now this show- he is so adorable when he gets all shy! Actually almost all of these 11 kids are cute..

        This is my first time seeing him in anything, I don’t watch all HP episodes and I didn’t watch Produce 101 (both seasons) so I only got to know him here! He’s so much like my younger sister with his jelly beans addiction, I’m always nagging her to stop it but here it’s just too cute, LOL!

      (Also unrelated, but you go to the gym right? I wish to lose around 9kgs in 2 months.. Is gym the best option? I have been going for walks and exercising on my own but I don’t see a lot of progress.. I already eat too healthy, or as healthy as I can, to change anything about my diet..)

        If I have to be honest then both, LOL!

        Oh, I don’t go to the gym, I workout at home, have my own room for that, no fancy equipment just my exercising mat and some dumbbells. I started working out to lose weight but now I do it because I love it and it helps relieve stress. I think you can do that but it all depends on what you eat and your metabolism. Try to focus on cardio exercises at first, start with beginner’s level and if you think you can do more then go for high intensity interval training (HIIT), they worked the best for me!

        I can’t say much about food since you already eat healthy but try a diet that’s low in crabs rather than low-fat and don’t forget to add cheat meals, your body needs something to work with, if you starve yourself or don’t get enough calories, it starts storing fat and you won’t lose any weight even if you workout like crazy!

        I’ve been following FitnessBlender for 3 years now and they’re seriously amazing, I lost 35kgs with them (Yes, I was an obese kid, proud of myself now), here is the link to their channel, you can check their videos and choose what you feel that you can do:

    Oh, and btw (yes I’m writing a btw on a random post, deal :P) I just watched Seunghoon’s Kpop Star cuts… Wow… just… wow…. dude sure worked hard and it sure payed off, cuz he’s a million times better at singing and rapping than he used to be lmao. But awww… Papa YG actually crying when he was cut was just so sweet and unexpected. Guess he was always destined for YG haha 😛 Have you seen it all yet?

            I quit ep 1 like 5 mins in lol. Ep 2 was fine, but somehow felt pointless. But now I’m at ep 6 and kinda addicted. It gets a lot better than ep 2 imo. JR is sooo quiet though. Hoping Hongki’ll be able to unloosen something in the kid lol 😂

            For Rome?? Awesome. Although I actually like to see them traveling countries I don’t know much about. Still waiting impatiently for the new ep here, but I think it’s been put on hold due to the strikes?

            Yes, Wizard of Nowhere is on hold because of the strikes. HUHUHU I didn’t know they were going to Rome for the third trip! (Third in Jinwoo’s perspective) I liked that they went to places I don’t know such as Georgia and the Kamchatka, Peninsula. But I guess it’s a different challenge altogether going to Rome too?

            Yup. Rome. He got seasick there. It is becoming a running joke with the WinnerCity staff that they never pack what is needed in the trip. In the last trip they packed winter clothing thinking that because the first trip was to a warm place, the second would be to a cold one.. and then they were being all sad about how he had to carry a sweater while already wearing one! 😛 And then this time they forgot to pack medicines. And here i am wondering, don’t idols pack their own luggage when going on trips? But knowing Jinwoo he actually can take care of himself…

            I originally ventured into WINNER because of yes, Minho. Loved him in New Journey to the West so I got curious. And I generally like the music of YG (although like WINNER said they’re not the typical YG sound or even image) so I thought of nothing.

            And now I’m slowly getting into the fandom. I saw Wizards of Nowhere for Jinwoo and I’ve also watched his web drama. Up next is Seungyoon’s webdrama.

            They did look quite tired- I kinda liked what Hoon said on being asked why he looks down- he simply said he doesn’t know why he feels down -which happens often to the best of us all of a sudden but I don’t think celebrities ever answer like that!

            I am happy that they are done with promotions and seem to be enjoying doing other things- Hoon and Mino in London for fashion week, Jinu in Rome and Yoonie in prison cuz the shooting has finally begun! I really hope the drama is good!

    Believe it or not, I am fairly new to Winner! I got to know about them and kpop in general around their last album (Really Really and Fool). I haven’t even watched any of their webdramas- though We Broke Up is high on the ‘to-watch’ list.

    In fact @kaybee got me interested in them- she posted some of Jinwoo’s pics and this video of him getting lost in Japan and I was on board! I finished watching Winner Tv and WIN:Who Is Next? soon and there was no looking back! If you really want to see their beginnings you should check out both these shows… But yes, I did fall in love with them quite quick and if I look at my fan wall, there is not much other than Winner and Seo In Guk! 😛

    Ooh I’m watching Half Moon Friends too! I don’t usually watch reality shows with kids in them but my YT recommendations kept popping up 2 min cute videos of Winner with kids! The show is so adorable! And I am really loving every episode! It makes me laugh like crazy, facepalm a lot, and sometimes get close to crying!

          I’m from the Philippines!

          Oh, I only blog for fun but now I’m on hiatus as a book blogger. It has perks such as receiving advanced review copies for review but after a while it felt like too much pressure to receive them too because I felt obligated to read them. Anyway, I hope to get back to book blogging too and find a balance with the fangirl life and my book blogging. I live life in phases so when I’m super into one hobby, I almost completely forget the others. When I was a very active book blogger (2013-2015; I started slumping by 2016), those were the years I didn’t touch kdramas. After being so obsessed with kdramas that I even joined a subbing team, my entire focus shifted. It was also the time I quit kpop.

          Now I’m here again! Hahaha

Which is not a good thing (Masters in English lit here and reading was one of my first love).. so really finding a balance is something that I am looking for?

            I stumbled across some old Winner fan blogs today about each member’s struggles.. I don’t know what happened but since then I have been really upset and my head aches.. Kpop is not good for health for sure!

            @obsessedmuch Nah, I only worked as an editor/QC person. How I wish I know Korean! Even though I’ve been watching for years, I don’t really pick up much except for a few words. I’m too reliant on the subs. Haha! My job was to check for grammar and spelling, make sure the subs can be read (in terms of placing and how long the subs appear), and more on design/typesetting for jdramas because they use a lot of font and colors (back then).

            Yeah, I slowly quit kpop back then. After Jay Park left 2PM, I became less and less interested. But back then and until now, Big Bang has been my fave. VIP forever! But I was also a fan of SHINee, 2PM, Super Junior, MBLAQ, and B2ST. The latter second-gen idols.

            Hope we can find balance in the things we love! I also miss reading huhuhu

            *randomly hops into convo* Oooh you love books too?! 😀 It’s funny how a lot of Beanies seem to love reading too. Maybe it’s really a “story” addiction haha.

            The phases thing is so me in a way. I tend to switch between music, movies, TV and books – and after kdramas it’s music, movies, variety, dramas and books lol. I’ll be mostly reading for like a year, then go crazy doing historical movie projects and whatnot for the next year and then back and forth it goes, with the other ones sandwiched in here and there. So weird.

            Also, I loved SY’s webdrama, the We Broke Up one. Can’t wait to see him in the new drama from the Reply PD! And with satoori! … That was perhaps my favorite part of Halfmoon Friends – SY speaking busan dialect with the twins. It was just so adorable haha.

        Big Bang are kings for sure.. I haven’t really checked them out fully yet! I love SHINee- but more for their variety! Haven’t really checked out all their songs yet… My kpop knowledge is pretty limited- Winner, FT Island, Block B, AKMU a lil bit of SHINee and Highlight/Beast and a sprinkling of YG artists in general..

Dangerous Beyond Blankets ep 3 wasn’t as awesome as ep1-2 but still funny/cute. I missed Jun-Hyung. Sad that these were just pilot episodes! Hope the network continues it.

        Kekeke…Thanks for the warning, I will take a gamble and watch and hope that the rest of the episode is just as funny. I like that Sung Hoon doesn’t mind looking foolish or silly – I mean look at his Live Alone episode – I was lost for words! Is he for real? But I was definitely entertained.

    Just saw this ep earlier w/ my mama! His Choo Choo Train dance was too funny! Do YOU recognize which K-pop group he supposedly learned this dance move from? Pwahaha! I groaned when I heard the intro talking about the mission/race whatever, but had a blast watching this ep! I can’t believe the whole intro/show your charms/talent segment lasted the entire ep! Lawl. Not even complaining because it was hysterical.

        Well… if you enjoyed the first half, then you’ll like the second half too, because that entire intro/show off your charms/talents/skills segment lasted the entire ep! Haha. The ep ended with the gang splitting into two groups to go eat and played games on the bus ride to the restaurants. Literally nothing much happened, but it was fun.

      Aww, haha. Hi! I’m okay, I’m okay! Thank you for worrying about and thinking of me, friends! We were certainly among the lucky ones; Irma spared us. It was still scary, though. I’m really glad it’s over, but my heart goes out to those that suffered/are suffering, and have lost much much more than we did.

    Aw, thanks for thinking of me, friend! I’m okay, I’m okay! Irma was a ferocious beast, but my family and I were among the fortunate ones that only got hard and heavy wind and rain–no serious damages. Our power went out for about 1+ hrs last night. It came back sooner than expected, considering most people are still w/o power. Easing into my daily DB routine again! I’ve missed you! Oh, didn’t you say one of your relatives live in FL? Tampa, was it? Are THEY okay?

      Ah that is good… They are okay too.. they had to camp out at a high school one night because of fear of winds breaking the house, but thankfully nothing bad happened- to them or to the house..

      But I have seen the after-images of the wreck Irma brought and my heart goes out to the ones whose world was turned upside down.. I really hope the smaller islands also receive help..
      I missed you too! Was quite worried when I was watching those weather images of Tampa and Orlando being in the target area… I am so glad you are okay..

        Oh, thank goodness! I’m so glad to hear that! Good for them. I was surprised to find out that most of the shelters were actually schools, but I’m glad your relatives utilized them and was safe.

        Me too. I hope everyone are/will be able to receive the help they need to recover and get back to the closest thing to normalcy.

            My alma mater and the hs that my sisters currently attend was one of the shelters, so I was like, “Oh wow, cool.”

            Seriously. Especially if they’ve lost their homes, their belongings, and even loved ones. It’s very sad. Bless their hearts!

Heard Yoon is going around carrying 4 sets of underwear whenever he goes out, just in case they are kidnapped and other members are not ready! 😛 The PDs have resorted to asking fans for suggestions on how to confuse the 2Seungs- Mino and Jinu are easy targets they say (obviously- both are adorable fools)!

      Their YoF- no idea.. they haven’t yet been kidnapped and the members are being all smarty pants carrying their bags everywhere so that they are not caught unawares😂… YoF cast is almost always kidnapped when they least expect it but these dunces are making it hard! 😄

      The PD literally asked fans to send suggestions but the winner staff recently posted that the members keep looking at fan comments too so to somehow send them secretly!

          Bogummy’s kidnapping was the cutest thing ever! It didn’t even look like kidnapping! Didn’t he apologize to he staff for his car being too small? Such an innocent soul! You should watch how Haneul was kidnapped! His flustered expressions were so hilarious! He was accosted right after an award ceremony and told to come. He was wearing a suit and had to travel in that to Iceland!

          Lol yeah, nothing surprising there.. fans are fans… I really thought Winner fans were comparatively chill… they are still, but there are some who would jump down other’s throat for mentioning Namtae or iKON.. but I guess there are some (or many in some cases) such characters in each fandom..

          Oh yes, you have to watch it! Bogummy gets busy eating at the airport and misses his connecting flight! And his expression was priceless! And there were many other adorable moments too! I just skimmed through Iceland for HaNeul- it was quite good too!

            To be honest, it was probably just a joke.
            But there’re always the nasties in every and each fandom indeed. Doesn’t matter whether it’s kpop, or kdrama, or DC or Marvel, or gaming, or American TV shows, or British TV Shows, or books, there are always saesangs, annoying and overly noisy fans. God forbid you get all in one. O.o

          Because Namtae left and Winner was on the verge of disbanding… they faced a tough time there.. some think the huge gap between each of their albums was also because of Nammie.. but there are many supporters as well who have pledged to support OT 4+1 in whatever they do.. the boy did what he did because it was needed to be done.. he really does look happier and calmer than before.. the other 4 are working well too… they have achieved the kinda success that only their first album achieved… I still miss their Baby Baby/ empty selves.. they seem to have changed themselves to suit the demand of the hour- which works fine but I really hope that their next CB has some songs which are more their earlier selves..
          Oh and then there are some who keep comparing iKON with Winner- because they literally started as competitors despite their strong camaraderie! But for each such fan, there is a Winkon fan who loves all and any interaction between the group…. fandoms are always complex and one can’t really understand everyone there… I love Namtae and I like the bromance between winner and ikon- haven’t followed them much so can’t really say I am their fan..

            Ah. Musicals are funy 😀 😀 I would recommend it but I know that Cats is one of those either-love-or-hate-musicals haha. It’s based on a book of Poems by T.S.Eliot though, so you could just read those.

            (in bits and pieces we’re slowly getting there. It’s easier knowing everyone’s names already! 😀 😀 )

        Well his Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats is… not like his other poetry… actually they’re the only Eliot I’ve read in full, but they’re really fun and funny
        And I mean… cats. 😛

          Ah… if it is unlike his other poetry, I can actually check it out. And yup, cats are a big draw! 😉 I mean it’s not like I hate him but I very rarely understand what he is trying to say and when I do, I fail to understand why he said such a simple thing in such a roundabout way. Made a literature student’s life difficult! 😛

          I think I have asked this before but I don’t remember.. what did you study in university?

            I memorized the whole Macavity poem when I was 11 ish for a Speech and Drama assessment. It’s still one of my favourite poems. (I mean… I like a lot of poems, but yeah…)

            Uh… well, I didn’t study. Haven’t studied? Yet…
            I did a year long Scriptwriting course, but it just gave me a certificate. And I want to lots of things, the top subject being Linguistics. But I already know what I want to do with my life (write and draw) and I don’t technically need a degree for that, so studying would just be for interest, or for learning new skills, so idk if I want to spend $50k on it yet. But I also need a job to get me to being self sufficient off my art and writing, and people like qualifications for that so I don’t really know what I’m going to do next.
            That… deviated from the question slightly hehe.

            (I think for me the two Seungs threw me off as well, even though they look nothing alike, at first. But then once I learnt Hoonie I was like ‘so the other one who isn’t smallish and pretty, is Yoonie’ hahaha *process of elimination*
            And ofc, I’ve known Mino since Okey Dokey Yo. He is easy. Very distinctive.)

          Yup yup! The craziness got a lil too much recently because Mino is featuring in a song in Bobby’s next album and some iKonics called Mino pretty mean stuff.. ICs were up in arms man!

          I mean I do like this fandom more than the others I have observed because most of the times they are pretty chill but iKON and Namtae get some sections pretty riled up..
