Beanie level: Wrongly accused fugitive

3 Meals A Day S3 E12 End

Mongie spinning confusedly with mouse-toy caught on his leg got me in stitches. And that “Oh God” face… 😂😂 Why so cute??

I laughed so hard at this scene ><
I once showed it to my little cousins, they didn't know what show it was, they didn't even understand the language but they were laughing so much while watching Mongie and Koongie's cuteness πŸ˜€

I would seriously watch a show based just around his cats. I just can’t express how much I love them and wish to squeeze them! Hahahaha

3 Meals A Day S3 E11

E-chef has officially outdone himself on their last day in Deukryang. And to think that I used to go gaga over him cooking simple yet delicious soup…

E-chef never has a failure, like, never! Am currently watching season 2 (with Taec), and Seo-jin must feel like he’s in foodie heaven compared to back then ^^

Just like what Na PD said, they are basically opening a snail restaurant in this season. I kept expecting a trouble whenever he cooked a difficult dish, but he always manages to finish it safely and deliciously somehow. Even Kyung-sang and Seo-jin’s dish turned out successful too.

The 3 Brothers’ escaping attempt to the nearest town is just the cutest and funniest thing. And then they just have to forget their wallet too. 😂😂

A special post for my favorite character, Seo Bo-ra.

She is the perfect example of what little kindness and empathy could do to people. By the end of the series, she has transformed from a bullied student who let everyone trampled over her to a strong and compassionate girl who is always ready to protect her friends, share her love, and become a shoulder to cry on.

School 2017, you might not be a perfect show. But you asked all the important questions about school system, made me reflect back to the struggle of being adult and teenager, reminded me about doing little changes to ensure a better life, and gave me nostalgic feeling.

Thank you for the warm, lovely, and hopeful ride. You’ll always have a special spot in my heart.

Even with frustrating noble idiocy galore that is this episode, these little character moments always manage to lift my spirit up.

Loved that Teacher Gu moment XD I’d add the taxi scene with Daehwi and Namjoo’s dad to this list.

That’s also a really sweet scene. But since we got proper heart-to-heart conversation in that scene, instead of the blink-and-you-miss-it moment, it failed my screening process. 😜

Hey there! Thanks so much for always talking about this show in “What I’m Watching” thread. I finally gathered up my courage and started it. Still on episode 6, but it’s so much fun! I love Song Dae-hwi so so so so much *___* (I think I’m in the minority since everyone seems to like Tae Won lol)

So sad to think that it will end. This one is actually better than School 2015, so why the rating is so low? I couldn’t understand K-netizens at times

    Anyway, thanks again!

      Hi!!
I’m glad that you give this drama a try and like what you get so far. More love is always a good thing. 😊

I like Dae-hwi too. He is just much more complex than Tae-woon and it makes him a very interesting character. It’s a pity that he didn’t get as much screen time as Tae-woon and Eun-ho. And the actir playing him is so good at emoting.

Anyway, happy marathoning. Hopefully you can join the last 2 recap party. 😁

I saw that actor first time in Solomon Perjury and remember just how good he is. And he’s actually better here! His character is amazingly complex πŸ™‚

Awww, I would like to join the last recap if I could T.T I hope I could finish watching it before then. If not, I’ll just talk about it in What I’m Watching thread haha. Got a pretty busy month so yeah lol

Thanks again for recommending this! These high schoolers are so much love <3

I have extra free time today and in need of a good laugh. So I figured it will be a perfect time to read @headsno2 legendary recaps, Dr. Jin.

Thanks for the laugh, the witty comments, and fabulous screencaps of super dramatic Song Seung-hoon. You just made my day. 😁

Since my oppa didn’t have any experience as a wrongly accused fugitive, let me borrow Lee Jun-ki who has managed to evade pursuit for Two Weeks, save his daughter’s life, and reunite with his first love. Now, I need to run!!

Originally, I didn’t have any plan to watch Society Game 2, but then they just have to cast both Jang Dong-min and Lee Jun-seok.
*madly trying to make room for new variety show*

😮😮😮😮😮 I wasn’t aware they were planning a S2 and now there’s Jang Dong Min and Lee Jun Seok from Genius good old days 😎 ? I haven’t finished Society Game S1 the subs were taking too much time and then it went down on my list 😅 . But I’ll make time for them that’s sure !!! Thank you so much for this good news πŸ™‚

Is the 1st season good? I didn’t watch it because I prefer my game show to be separated from the players’ daily life, which is not the case in this var show. But since they bring in my fave Genius’ player and the dark horse, I’ll definitely give it a try.

I’ve watched it till ep 6 or 7 if I remember correctly, there were games similar to the ones in the Genius but there were also games requiring strength and stamina. Then the fact they lived together during the whole show changed how they interact and always be aware of behaviour as who woke up late and never helped with the cooking. In a whole I prefer The Genius , but Society Game was interesting too .

Watching The Classic for Jo Seung-woo, and it ripped my heart in the process.
To end it on a happy note, let me share some of his adorable and sweet smile.

16 episodes later, and I’m still hopelessly smitten.
The sweet, the sad, and the bitter. I won’t forget it all.
Thank you for becoming the drama of the year for me. 😃

Every character did well in that show. I just wish they had given more time to LCJ though. I mean, he was alone, fighting for a just cause, even if the methods employed were not right, some time should have been given to him for the audience to digest his deeds. I feel so sad that at the very end, his beloved wife still didn’t understand him and sought to get the chairman out of prison. To do what? Continue with the manipulation of money?

I think she understand about her husband’s motivation, but I couldn’t completely blame her for still doing things the same way. After all, her husband is gone and Chairman Lee is his own father. If she just blindly opposing her father, she might end up in a worse situation. She has siblings whom from her story, sounded very similar to her father and could potentially become a trouble. She also needs to think about her daughter. At least this way, she can have some control over her life and live comfortably.

I don’t understand why her assets are not taken away or frozen after her father’s misdeeds are uncovered and investigated. Shouldn’t the company take a beating? How does she manage to be the CEO of the company?

        1

I guess Chief Lee’s last act to transfer her asset to a scholarship foundation has somewhat save her. It also seems like the prosecutors’ main goal is to arrest Chairman Lee and other important politicians, so it’s possible that there isn’t strong evidences against her. And just like what he said to Chief Kang in his interrogation, without strong evidences or search warrant or the suspect’s own confession, it’s easy for people like them to avoid punishment.

This is one of the reasons why we need a season 2! She’s gonna be a badass villain.

How come all the shows I watched and books I read this week have a character that unjustly died? I feel like I don’t have any tears left.

Goodbye my girl, Eun-soo…

It is too sudden and it is unfair for you, but I hope you will finally find peace and happiness. We’ll always remember you. 😢

hey the spoiler is too much for another beanies, lol.
never liked her up until ep 13 but she doesn’t deserves to leave us like that πŸ™
she seems sly and quick-witted I thought she could survive together with SDJ until the very end.

same comment haha, i still haven’t watched past episode 1, but because I was wandering here in the fan posts, I have an idea now lol. So I guess I should not invest in her character? 0_0

if I were you I must be close my eyes from all beanies updates πŸ˜€
Every character here are left deep impression, they’re all just so real so you could invest in any character you like.
but still, I bet you won’t love another female character beside Yeo Jin.

Also realized that since we all spill the beans some times, even if its a past drama. Really looking forward to it! Though I have to admit that I’m watching this drama for Jo Seung-Woo hahhaha

This will be interesting since this girl is usually the “villain” in other dramas πŸ™‚

Initially I watched it because of Bae Doo Na, never really liked Jo Seung Woo before. But this role really suits him well. Right now I totally crazy about this ajusshi lol.
yeah this girl portrait EunSoo amazingly, she’s annoying yet green and bold prosecutor.

When you are crying and feel bad for a character, then remember all the unforgivable crimes he did, and immediately feel bad for feeling bad.

An appreciation post for my newest girl crush: Han Yeo-jin.
A total badass with a bright, warm-hearted personality. In another word, a perfect recipe for a totally winsome heroine to root for.
