I've loved Go Kyung Pyo ever since seeing him in Flower Boy Next Door. He was miscast in Jealousy Incarnate, but this seems like the perfect sort of role for him. He's good at high energy roles. I'm looking forward to this one!

I was really sad when Yoon Shi Yoon turned this down, they would have been a heck of a pair, but Go Kyung Pyo makes up for it. Happy that he's out of second lead territory.

(Now just impatiently waiting for Ji Soo. Any..day..now)

Actually, I'm kinda worried who will be the leading man after YSY turned it down but what a relief that GKP who will take it.

I only watched him fully in Tomorrow Cantabile. I like him there as a adorably goofy violinist and chemistry with his violinist competitor turned lover was delightful.

I think KBS did a pretty nice casting for their upcoming dramas. Starting from Ssam, 7DQ, The Best Hit and this one. Hopefully the execution will be good too. But I'm still curious for School 2017, it will be airing in July too but still no information who will be casted.

While watching him in CT, I was thinking he will probably land his first lead role after this. And here we are with this news. He earned it by working hard to get himself ready to lead a drama, getting the girl is just bonus part to be a lead guy. I still remember watched him for the first time in FBND and I loved him and Kim Seul Gi in that drama. Thanks KBS for reviving Friday-Saturday slot for drama, it means we will get more options for drama, and it will give more chances to rising actors in their 20s.

Finally! So happy for GKP! I was wondering if he could get cast, but then dismissed the thought. Who knew this is the year of the underdogs? On a side note, GKP's friend bogummy's drama was also on KBS right, the moonlight one. What a coincidence. I loved gkp's look from CT, but not watching it since the chemistry of the otp is not working for me. Im soo jung has better chemistry with GKP somehow imo. Regardless, excited to watch this drama now. Hope he's in good hands!

Yay! Good for him! I've watched him in other dramas before but CT was the one who really brings out the best in him (imho). So happy that he finally breaks into the leading role! Totally deserve that!!

He's been choosing his dramas wisely so far (Answer Me 88, Jealousy Incarnate and CT), so I'm hoping his lucky streak continues. And him as underdog? It's not everyday we get a jajangmyun deliveryman as a hero so count me in!

I'm expecting very strong chemistry between these 2 since both of them have shown the ability and desire to push that extra step and actually SHOW chemistry. I love them both a LOT and am very excited about their pairing. He plays both dark and light with equal intensity, so I expect he will be perfect for this role. I hope he is given the opportunity to display his diversity. He can be very scary when he goes to his dark side.

I'm so glad the Reply cast is thriving. I wished his "wife" Bora would also become successful.

Aww, finally! Well done GKP! I'm waiting for CT to end so I can marathon it but am itching to start it now that the comments and reviews are saying that it's in woah! territory. I watched him and Seul Gi in SNL Korea and now am hoping she will also get out of supporting roles too. I know she was in Splish Splash but a full-length drama would be nice

Good for them! They're both talented actors who always seem to settle for second string. Kyung-Pyo is just adorable! And reallllllyyy underrated as an actor. (I used to think he can only do goofy good guys - until I watched Coin Locker Girl. But even then, he was still able to tug at my heartstrings for wanting to get Mama's affections.) Chae Soo-Bin may be end-game as the leading lady but I feel bad that she had to feel second best in Rebel despite the romance that she has with Gil-Dong. I just want her to finally have a love story where she's assured from the start of the man's strong feelings for her. Or does her cameo in Shopping King count? ^.^

I literally just went from the recent ep of Rebel to the recent (and finally subbed!) ep of Chicago Typewriter. I even was saying to myself just now, that after this role, Go Kyung-pyo definitely should be moving to lead territory. So this is awesome news to come back to!

I'm sure if they're making their love feel so genuine in their current works, they'll be able to do so here as well! I love the sound of their characters already.
