Beanie level: Errand boy

Love the mentor-mentee relationship between ES and SM. Oh, what could have been had she not died…

Yes! I agree with you. I love how much the actors are able to say with their eyes. Their acting is really… daebak! 🙂

FOS withdrawal led me to look for CSW’s earlier works, and I happened to chance upon one of his early movies “Who Are You”. It showcases his raw acting talent and his boyish demeanor, and he has amazing chemistry with his co-star. He has come a long way since then. Now he is more mature and nuanced in his acting.

A growing man with boyish charm 👍🏻.
I do agree that he has come a long way. He may not be up there at Song Kang-ho’s level in Chungmuro but he is just perfect with the talents that he’s been given and where his career is at. He is pretty stable whether it’s musicals, films or dramas. I’m fan of him in all!

A pity I didn’t manage to get my hands on the scene before this because that is the scene I wanted to post here. I love how SM hesitates at waking the sleeping YJ up, and chooses in the end to let her

… continue sleeping. I love how he gets back to his work while YJ sleeps in the background, blissfully unaware of what has just happened. Something about this scene strikes a chord in me. It’s so sweet, and makes me go “awww…”. They might have just met, but they are already behaving very comfortably in each other’s presence. It helps that YJ is amiable and easy to get along with. I shall be replaying this entire scene over and over again, and enjoying the quiet solitude they both have in each other’s presence. I like how they are physically in each other’s space, but personally, they are not invading each other’s boundaries while they do their own stuff.

I really feel for SM at the end of this scene. He is so intelligent, so insightful and so aware of his limitations that he can almost see his future or the end of it. And the matter of fact way he says of his bleak end just gets me in many ways. CSW really has a way of drawing you into his character and his plight despite the lack of emotions or facial expressions. Is it in his tone, or his gestures? Or simply the way he delivers his lines?

I must be the only one who likes KNG with his current cleancut hairstyle. His previous hairstyle is far too messy for my liking. I would like his pornstache back though. He looks weird without his signature accessory. His facial expressions look more comical now that he made his changeover. The lack of distracting facial hair and hair highlights the different changes in his facial features which make the expressions more animated than they really are. Case in point: look at how he tries to order his coffee.

Am I weird if I say SM’s occasional outbursts seem a bit sexy? Because he seldom raises his voice, when he does it, it seems to increase his level of attractiveness. I am crazy.

Nah not crazy. Or maybe there’s a group of us? Anyways I totally agree. I remember thinking that too when I was watching. I don’t want it is…maybe it’s just reacting to what a damm skillful actor he is..well yknow in addition to him being super handsome.

He is handsome, isn’t he? 😛 I think he looks very good in this show, his hairstyle, his fashion sense, not that he has any, given that he is in office wear most of the time, everything is on point. Then comes his acting… mind blowing for someone playing an emotionless prosecutor. Daebak. Sometimes, I think he comes across quite manly despite not being aware of it at all.

It’s crazy how he can seem so manly some scenes but then so boyish in other scenes.

After the serious melodramas he has done, I forget KNG has his goofy side as well. Check out his derp faces when he plays with his blinds. And his innovative way of snatching patients from his rival.

I can never get enough of SM-YJ’s interactions. I love how straitlaced and serious he is when he is speaking with YJ, never getting her nuances and hints. So cute!

I miss FOS! I miss SM’s rare precious smiles, and his occasional expressions when he talks to YJ. He looks more attractive when he smiles. Oh, how he slays my heart.

Gosh, I swear I’m still in withdrawal bc of this show. I’ve just given up on dramas for now.
And I don’t wanna re-watch FOS, bc I’m afraid I’ll love it even more and then I won’t ever be able to watch another drama ever again.

I am in withdrawal too, and I find myself pickier with shows that I watch now. I managed to pick myself up from the withdrawal to watch Live Up To Your Name and Save Me. These two shows are quite good, though not on the same level good as FOS.

I’ve just resorted to watching variety shows while waiting for the drama that will pull me out of this slump
