        I have lost interest in this show. I don’t remember anyones names. When I started watching I wasn’t sure if I was in it for the super smile (and hugs! He looks like an excellent hugger.) of the main character or because I actually liked the show. The feeling is wearing off. And it seems like we’re getting fewer supersmiles because they want to focus on the mystery. I don’t care about the mystery.
        I was watching on Viki via roku and as far as I can tell roku doesn’t show you whether or not a show is subbed and I was half way through the newest ep and realized that I didn’t know what was going on. A) because I wasn’t paying attention and 2) because it was only 50% subbed (I looked online). I sat and tried to figure out what about this show I care about: the sister and the friend? Eh. Their cute but whatever. The sick little sister? Nope. Douchey doctor? Nope. Extra cute little brother who my lose custody of his daughter? YES. But….eh. it’ll be fine. Awkward and lonely Chef? Eh. (they described him as this tall skinny pale guy with a small face! I think I’d be insulted. I may have commented this before). Main couple? NOPE. Ho Bang and Jin Joo? HECK YES. They are adorable, precious, scene stealers and I want to watch them interact all day everyday forever.

        So…thats how I’m hanging in there.

      Right? I’m going on a mission for my Church in a few weeks and thought I’d be able to finish one last drama before I left, so I was hanging on even though it’s kinda… eh now. But since there’s 20 episodes I can’t anymore! Aaaah my time feels wasted. :/ better luck next time I guess.

Watching Reunited Worlds: What is with all of these rich Chaebol\’s dressing up like worker bees? Lol not that I\’m complaining I think it\’s a great life philosophy… I just never saw it coming. ^^

      Lol that’s fantastic. It really was a spectacular show–one for the history books. I watched it as it aired, can you believe I was considering watching Neighborhood Hero instead for an episode?? (By the end of the first, I’d decided to stick with Signal). Haha so did you watch it too, or are you considering watching?

        I watched one ep but stopped! I thought it was really well done, but I found the nurse from ep 1 was soo creepy. (I’m a scaredy pants and can’t watch creepy stuff alone). After listening to the podcast, I’m debating whether I should try again and just watch only during the daytime, heheh..

          I will always recommend watching Signal, but it can be pretty intense (and scary, too). There are a few cases that deal with pretty heavy material, but I think it was handled tactfully, not disguising how terrible the crime was but not gratuitously exploiting it, either. My vote is give it another go during the daytime, and if it doesn’t catch then there’s still plenty of drama fish in the ocean. ^^

I cannot lie, discovering Lee Soo-Hyuk was in White Christmas made me 10xs more invested in it. 🙂 Just started episode 1, it’s pretty good!

    I’m definitely planning on watching thisY All the roads seem to lead to White Christmas. Whenever I stalk past works of actors I like it always leads me back to. I wonder how I will be able to concentrate with favourite actors popping up left and right 😅

          No, I just decided to take a break from that for now… Real Life has been changing pretty quickly for me, I’m actually preparing to take a bit of a sabbatical from dramas for a while (a year and a half, to be precise)… it’s just easier for me to focus on some RL things when I’m not stopping my day to post every day. But believe me, they will return… it will just take a while. ^^

    I’m in episode 4 and the last couple episodes he really stood out as the sensitive musician with demons to a T. I’m loving the indie/artsy feel to this drama. It’s quite lovely.

Waaaait a second. If Min-Joon was in the army 12 years ago when Jung-Won was a HS senior, how much older than her is he? Really just curious, that\’s all. What\’s the age range for military service??

    I think 18-35, but they have to enlist by age 31. They serve about two years and are then in the reserves for a few years after that. So he could be a couple of years older.

      Oh, thanks! that’s good to know. If I can pick your brain again, do you know if there’s a time they like to go? It always seems like DB can predict which actors will leave for service this year… is it because they have just waited until they’re 30?

        Yep! Most non-celebrity guys get it over with pretty quickly, which is why some of the later-debuted actors like Kim Jong-Hyun and Park Seo-Joon have already done it. Some celebrities like Seung-Ho go early, but most wait until they have to go.

The only thing better than watching Scholar Who Walks the Night is watching and then camping for 3 days in the woods, where the LJK vamp could appear any time. The song was stuck in my head, at least.
