Park Hae-jin becomes Four Men for Yong-pal PD’s new drama

Man to Man is still airing, but we now have confirmation of Park Hae-jin’s next project, a drama called Four Men. The production company Mountain Movement Story announced recently that Park Hae-jin’s participation was confirmed, and that currently they were in negotiations to broadcast it on SBS.
This upcoming drama is about a female detective who lost the man she loved. But by coincidence, she meets a pair of twin and becomes embroiled in a romantic mystery. Hmmm, maybe doubles are the new drama thematic trend of 2017… (See: Defendant, Duel, Ruler—Master of the Mask.)
PD Oh Jin-seok (Goddess of Marriage, Modern Farmer, Yong-pal) will be heading the drama. He has another project, SBS’s pre-produced sageuk romance My Sassy Girl, that’s about to premiere. I really liked the beginning of Yong-pal, so perhaps we’ll get similarly thrilling, high-stakes conspiracy-mystery for Four Men.
The script for this 16-episode sleuth drama is still being fleshed out, but the official casting phase will begin in July.

Yes, I also want Moon Chae Won to be his female lead for this drama. She has the looks and the acting chops! If not, how about Park Shin Hye? But not sure if production company Mountain Movement Story have the budget for such A listers?

That's my biggest concern too. Yongpal was too good in the beginning but after they found out that the script was plagiarized everything went downhill. So now we know that it was really the script that brought Yongpal down not the directing. I hope we get a good writer!

I always look forward to more Park Hae-jin. I hope he puts back on a little weight, though. He looks a little too thin in Man to Man and it actually makes his face look a little gaunt.

Don't worry, one of the conditions of entering the competition is having you written as a cameo being Oppa's shower or hair gel, or whatever weird thing you want to be!

Yongpal is not bad, it is well directed. It is exciting with suspense and some mystery and action scenes too although it did go into makjang territory with the last few episodes, I blame it more on the writing more than the directing.

Loving Park Hae Jin in Man x Man! He seems really to embrace his craft, wanting to grow and explore as an actor! Man x Man is definitely showing us he can be so versatile, can't wait to see more! But, seems quite busy this year, I hope he does take a little break...don't want him to get burned out too soon!

despite joowon being one of my fav actors, i only read some yongpal recaps but never watched it, i just cant get a hang of it, or it didnt really piqued my interest.
i'll give 4 men a try, i liked phj in action and mysterious roles ala MTM and bad guys.

But seriously though, who would I like to be the leading lady...
I'd love Nam Ji hyun, because she's adorable in Suspicious Partner, but, I think she's a bit young for the role.
Lee Sung kyung - she acted opposite him in CiTT, they had great chemistry together, she gets me at the emotional scenes, she's tall and striking, and I think she'd be perfect for the role of a hurting female detective, tough on the outside, but grieving inside.
Yoo In na - I loved her in Goblin, she made me cry so much, I connected with her more than I did with KGE.
