As for Radiant Office:
Regardless Ha Suk-jin playing same role, I'm in for Go Ah-sung.
So far i like Ha Suk-jin typical role. It's only episode 4 and still far away for judging. Maybe it will got better and developing something new next week.

yay, Heads is watching The Liar & His Lover! I don't think Hankyul is supposed to be that mature in terms of characterization. We don't get told his age but I'm assuming it's similar to real-life korean dols. I haven't read the manga so I could be wrong but korean idols with about 4-7 years after debut, some live alone or with the members, and are in their early 20s. They're not necessarily "men" yet, just boys working on music. Watching idol variety shows, sometimes I wonder if men ever grow up. :') Watching I live alone, I'm seriously worried for some of them.
Also, I must have some fate with gamers because all my bias spend their off-time playing video games, I even had to watch hours of video game shows of games I don't understand at all just because they're playing in it. Crazy things fangirling makes me do.

I am watching right now:
JANG BORI IS HERE: I love it Kim ji hoon is so silly, oh yunsoo is so dumb but cute and lee Yuri can be so good as a villain, and I really want min Jung (lee Yuri) to end up with up with her ex, is it weird to cheer on the villain of the story? Cause I totally love lee Yuri here ^^
STRONG WAMAN DBS: I still need to ep 7 and 8, I have it downloaded but since I have started jang bori I didn't have time to watch SWDB this week.
THE QUEEN OF THE RING was absolutely a nice ride, I do agree with javabeans on the fact that nanhee still think of herself as ugly and didn't like herself the way she is at the end...but I was really happy when SE-GEUN accepted her the way she looks at the end ( BTW I do think nanhee is much prettier than miju she is so cute )
I have downloaded THE LAIR AND HIS LOVER but still didn't start watching it every time I want to click on it I get afraid that it might turn out a boring drama even though it was well recommended in many sites but ever since SCARLET HEART I learned to never trust rating of a drama starting kpop idols.
I think after what chickachunga said I am gonna start watching radiant office (if I could finish jang bori this week)

Na pd shows are pretty much the same, just the settings are different.

I haven't watched The Liar and his Lover yet (will get to it after I finish watching Strong Woman BS episode 10) so I don't know how it is in the drama. Just curious, isn't Lee Hyunwoo like 24? Shouldn't he live alone by now? I wonder the reason behind the fact that he can't act convincingly as someone living independently. Maybe Korean culture is different and he still lives with his parents? Anyone who is his fans know? Is his character a lot older than he is so he can't pull it off?

Anyway...

I'm watching Strong Woman (which incidentally, also has Minhyuk in a live-by-yourself situation) and I love the cuteness. The slapstick can feel a bit too much occasionally, but I still love it.

I'm going to be sad Chief Kim is in its last leg.

I was annoyed with the female lead in Radiant Office throughout Episode 3, but Episode 4 got better so I'll watch it next week again.

Defendant finished well, but I can't help wondering if it would have been better had it been shorter.

If last years cute couple award was for Bok Joo and Joon Young, this year's HAS to be Min Hyuk and Bong Soon. So adorable that they make you smile like an idiot

Watching:

Voice - Finished it and hoping for a second season! It's too gore and violent for me, but so good I gritted through the violent scenes.

Defendant - Phew. Happy Ending. That's all I asked for. Ji Sung is on a role (Entertainer, imma ignore your existence)

Strong Woman Bong Sooni: My happy pill. I get where the criticisms come from, I do. But it just makes me smile whenever MH x BS are together I don't care anymore. I go into a poodle of happiness.

Liar & Lover: My new happy pill. The editing is jarring, and we're not in an acting master class for sure. It's just fluff, romantic fluff, which happens to be my ultimate guilty pleasure. Add music to that and I'm a happy gal. The bad boy, innocent girl dynamic and the whole atmosphere with the boys and "the other girl" is what I wanted Cinderella and the Four knights to be but couldn't buy. I totally buy it him so I'm praying to Drama gods it doesn't implode on itself and stay like this until the end.

Rebel: the kissssssssss. I feel less involved, but it's still good so I'm not complaining.

Radiant Office: I don't know what is it with me and Office dramas this year. I was never into them (Misaeng being the exception). This year, I really feel them.

Chief Kim: I knew the bromance between Ck and Yul would be good. I didn't know I would be grinning like a fool throughout. If Bong Sooni is my squee happy pill, and Liar & Lover my awwww sunshine happy pill, this is my cackling in laughter happy pill.

Tomorrow with you: the writing is problematic, but I am still rooting for them. I'll have to wait until it all ends to decide whether I loved this or just liked it.

Dropped most of the shows. planning to leave the kdrama world.Waiting for Age of Youth and Drinking Solo Season 2.

It started with Krystal and Jong Seok's High Kick 3 Bor-sis fight videos and I ended up watching all 123 episodes of High Kick 3 in 3 weeks. The moved on to School 2013.

Watched School 2013 2 weeks ago. Show was alright. Overhyped.
Dream High - Su Ji looks cute and dropped at 1st episode.

Liar - bad editing, bad narration, bad scriptwriting.

Chief Kim - Became better. Seo yul and Chief Kim combi is the Goat.

Father I'll Take care of you - dropped at 28. Only watching Previews and random scenes of Dong Hui. This is one c grade drama. All the revenge crap and too much of Noise pollution.

Father is Strange - Meh. Another poorly writtern show and that brother from Ojakkyo Brothers didn't learn anything and got into one more night stand. The onlyLikable character is that Karate-temp-intern sister.

I wonder why javabeans and girlfriday don't recap anymore?

I'm still looking for a replacement show after finishing the phenomenal Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu. Radiant Office seemed like good candidate at first glance, but I fear that the office politics won't hold my interest for too long as it is simply not the stuff I usually prefer.

I've stopped watching SWDBS after reading about the domestic violence. While I have no way of knowing if that scene would have bothered me, I simply have no wish to find out right now. Maybe I'll come back to this show once I feel differently because there were several things to love about it.

Ugh. I hate being in a drama slump. I just really want to fall in love again. :/

Haha, when Lee Hyun Woo in the car I was thinking to myself: is he old enough to drive? His face is just too young to be mean and serious.

REBEL: I love Hong Gil Dong's adaptations and this one is no exception. I think what I love the most about it is how it feels like it's telling a new story, while at the same time retaining familiar elements of the tale.

CHIEF KIM: This is heartfelt comedy at its pinnacle. Jealousy Incarnate had more in-your-face laughed-out-loud moments while Chief Kim's brand of comedy is more "cute" but as satisfying because it's at the expense of bad guys. I knew I liked Nam Gong min in comedy. Yul and Myeongsuk are cute puppies.

THE LIAR AND HIS LOVER: Watched this on a whim while I was bored, having no notion of what it was about. Took a bit of time to come to term that it was a music-themed drama. I like it. I'm questioning the editing choice for transition between scenes, and there are clumsy dialogue delivery here and there. Nevertheless, I love the main female character and her squad with her awesome grandmother, 2 awesome best friends and indulgent teacher. It gives off the shojo off the page onto the screen feeling, so learning that it's based on a japanese manga is no surprise. First time watching both the female and male lead. Or any of the other actors except for the evil CEO brother in K2 and the announcer mom in Jealousy Incarnate. The cast feels fresh and that girl playing the female lead is carrying the drama. I wonder if it's her real voice singing the songs, because I love it. I want to find out who sings the songs. Cute light fluff.

BONG SOON and MINHYUK: They are my everything right now. I can't get enough of them. I think I'm becoming obsessed to a dangerous level, obsessing about when the confession will come, when the kisses and goodness will come, and basically think about this couple all week. I love Park Bo young and Re-discovering Park Hyungsik again after that Hotel drama. Individually they're great, together, it's magic.

TOMORROW WITH YOU: I'm behind this. I was too stressed out from that cliffhanger with Director Kim coming up to Shin Min ah when he left her to return in a taxi alone. I think I will marathon it once its finished because my heart can't take the stress.

Strong woman Do Bongsoon: If I didn't read the comments, I wouldn't have noticed much that was problematic except for that domestic violence scene (which almost turned me off but didn't). Nothing deep here, but I like it that way. This is all about chemistry between PBY & PHS anyway, so I don't mind. Can't go wrong with good old silly bickering fluff.

Chief Kim: Some deep stuff mixed with silliness. I'm not addicted to it but I makes me feel good every week so I come back faithfully.

His Liar and Lover: I almost turned off watching it but finished the first episode somehow. Then watched the second and once again, another feel-good fluff. Haven't read the recaps for it yet so I'm curious what DB and Beanies have to say on it. Imo, it's imperfect, awkward at times, but cute enough it could become good. I might grow to love it, if I get past the abrupt change of scenes. The music is cute. The main character has a winning smile.

I noticed there was a good balance of female versus male leads lately in my drama routine.

For male leads, we've got YKS in Rebel, NGM + Junho in Chief Kim.
Females, I love Go Ah Sung in RO, and I'm liking that girl in The liar + his lover, and Chae Soobiiiiiiiiin in rebel.

And then we've got Boyoung and Hyungsik being cute puppies together. <333333333

I've only started one new drama this week, the liar and his lover. It's the typical high school drama cliche. Or should I say youth drama, with a musical touch to it. Sassy gogo crossed with Weightlifting crossed with Dream high and you get the gist. Acting is green in some parts, editing is a mess, but there is enough nice cute things in it it feels refreshing. I needed a stress-free drama that was easy to watch and this fits the bill.
