Moorim School’s foursome invites you to its mysterious school

I still can’t tell what in the heck they teach at this school, but the posters are out for KBS’s new youth action romance drama Moorim School and it looks pretty Hogwartsy to me. I mean, I don’t think they’re wizards, but these are not regular students learning “virtue and honor and sacrifice,” right? That might be the tagline to the outside world, but I’d be very surprised if there isn’t something mystical about this place, because the description says that the school itself shows up on GPS, yet not everyone can find its doors. A spell perhaps?
Moorim means “martial arts world,” and the drama is about the students and teachers at this unconventional school, where we’re promised lots of action and romance. The main poster reads: “Welcome… it’s your first time at a school like this, isn’t it?”
Lee Hyun-woo headlines as a troublemaker idol star who suffers a setback and finds himself shoved into this strange school to straighten out. His character poster says: “Moorim School? What’s that?!!” He’s a prickly, self-centered character who will eventually learn how to play well with others. VIXX’s Hongbin (Feel-Good Day) will be the roommate he strikes up a friendship with. He’s a rich kid with a carefree personality who was let in because of his powerful parents, though his poster says: “I have a reason for coming to Moorim School!”
Seo Ye-ji (Last) plays a hardworking student who supports her blind father and has to attend Moorim in secret. Her poster reads: “I’m a girl who goes to Moorim School!!” And Jung Yoo-jin (Because It’s the First Time) is the daughter of the school’s president and Moorim’s ace student. Her poster says: “Come to Moorim School.” Okay I’ll show up for the first day of school, but after all the cloak and dagger business, there’d better be something cool about what goes on behind those doors that nobody can find.
Moorim School follows Oh My Venus on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning January 11.

I'm excited to see Hyun Woo back on the small screen again! I hope the drama's good. I honestly do like the premise and posters so far, as cheesy as they are.

OMG, I really hopre that this one is a good one, but that "youth action romance" + the magic/strange atmosphere surrounding the posters, makes me doubt if this it's gonna be a nice one or a teen trash.
I do really hope that Murim School has a good story and performances, and may the rating be with them.

Okay whoa....Korean hogwarts?!?? MAYBE...maybe...??
Now I'm intrigued. I'll probably tune in for this simply because I love everything fantasy/sci-fi and throw in some hot males leads...as Katniss would say: "I VOLUNTEER!" *THROWS HANDS UP*

i almost passed on Sassy because of how "normal" it looks on everything.. poster, story-line, just so-so actors, etc.. but then it turn out that it is one of the best gem ever and i've become a big fans of Lee Won Geun and Chae Soo Bin..
so i'm just keeping my expectation low first for Murim School, because somewhat extraordinary plot-line can turn out to be hot-mess and nothing much extraordinary happen..

With this different approach, I hope Murim School give us a fresher story for teenage-centered drama. You definitely got me intrigued with the probability of some supernatural things going on there. ;-)

Okayyyy. This DOES look super campy but I'm intrigued. The writing on some of the posters makes me laugh, though, especially for Seo Ye-ji's character. "I'm a girl at Murim School"? Um, cool? Lol. It just seems like such an obvious thing. Yes, you ARE a girl at Murim School. It tells me nothing! Haha.

The premise sounds promising in breaking away from the mould of exams and academically stressed environment (which sassy go go also attempted unsuccessfully) very unconventional but I do hope they dont veer off the edge as is usually the case with teen flicks . And may the ratings be wth them.

I dont really know. the girl with fur gives a feeling of a shaman. is this something about energies and power balance.... hope it doesnt try to be too philosophical cause teenagers should be a bit accidentally cool, principially shallow and unknowingly ignorant.

So campy it's going to be great.
They promised lots of wire action and hongbin said there's a fantasy element to it. It's so interesting to see the drama's developments. Because everything is prefilmed they're not filming by episode. It's so weird because every now and then the casts will be seen wearing the same clothes from day one. But across a month of filming.
I hope they fully embrace the cheese and fantasy and that they'll do a good job creating a world and i'll live in it with them and be like ~screw logic~

Since I'm a fantasy fan, the possibility of magic caused me to become interested in this drama for the first time. Too bad the characters sound kind of typical, although it's hard to tell with so little information.

KBS seems to be into school dramas of late, after School 2015, Sassy Go Go and now this. Not that I am complaining since I really love school dramas and Murim looks...kinda different, kinda agree with the whole Hogwarts-feel, like wizards and all. May check this out, *cross fingers that it will be good*.
