Beanie level: Water maid

Episode 12 of Save Me… *shivers*
Dong Chul’s commentary was the best part and yet it totally broke my heart.

Also, can anyone tell me what the end credit song for Episodes 11 and 12 of Save Me is?

Sang Mi’s father is officially too creepy. After this show, if that actor is in anything else, I will always see him as horrible. Great job keeping me from sleeping though.

Anybody else check on favorite beanie pages to see whats new, and try to like things you already liked? Do I just have the worst memory on this site? Maybe they just post things I love?

That is so me! I keep getting the “already upvoted” message!

I come to the beanie wall to see what’s new. I can’t remember who I follow, I haven’t yet figured out how to figure that out. 😀

I do not think that there is a feature at this point that will allow us to view those whom we follow as well as our own followers.

Since this feature doesn’t seem to exist (yet), when I follow someone I bookmark their wall on my browser. It works well enough to check out their pages, even if it is a lot of clicking.

It happens to me when I like something a lot – I click like right away and when I finish reading / watching, I want to like it again. Already upvoted! Lol.

Haha! yess! Wish we could search out a beanie by their username too.. currently you have to scroll through past posts/comments to find their names to then stalk their fan wall! Does this reveal too much about my stalking?! Lol

Same, but I guess it means we’re consistent in what we like very much 😂

Wishing I had more time to watch dramas… Or a fairy godmother who told me which shows I want to focus my time on!

Even though there are times when I would like to watch a number of dramas at a time, I try to set limits. Additionally, I have so many other things that I either have to or would like to get done. I prefer to watch two dramas every couple or few months, but sometimes I watch more. Then I start the process of dropping dramas. Years ago, I would never have thought of doing that, but I find that it is getting slightly easier each time, lol!

    1
    1

I restrict myself to a set number of hours of drama watching per week. My problem is that I don’t always feel in the mood to pick up a drama (even if I like it) when I have the time to watch it. I sometimes look at the number of dramas I have dropped without noticing this way, and feel overwhelmed by the ever growing list of dramas I have only seen half of. This is why I wish there were a fairy drama-godmother who would tell me which dramas to never even start!

      1

Yes, even though I had more time, it took me a while to even pick up Rebel. But I finally did, and I will see if I can manage watching it and some other dramas. I have a feeling that I will have to choose not to watch some upcoming dramas. And like you, the list of dramas to watch will just keep getting bigger and bigger! 🙁

Hahaha! Of the currently shows, my favourites are Hospital ship (such beautiful character growth and stories) and Deserving of the name! 🙂

Thanks! I am always glad to know what others are enjoying! I’m not sure if I have time to start them, but I have a habit of starting shows I don’t have time for anyway!

Has anyone found a subbed version of Age of Youth 2? Or know where the subbed version may come out first? Please?

Bingeing Age of Youth because I felt like I missed a good show the first time, and want to watch season 2. But honestly not certain I have what it takes to watch the finale right after Ep. 11!

After sleeping on it I finished the first season. Desperate for season 2 to be subbed somewhere!

I love Save Me, but I have to watch it with a giant mug of hot cocoa to fight the chills it gives me!

After re-watching Boys Over Flowers episode 1, I have several comments!

5
9

    1) Was the lighting always so blown out? Was the acting always so… much? Was the editing really that choppy?

    2
    0

    2) Why was the guy in the beginning given a red card by F4, and why, during the rest of the drama, no one else after Jan-di (to my memory) given a card???

    1
    0

    3) I don’t remember Jan-di having any friends… Which now is a major problem to me…

    1
    0

    4) I am glad I erased several things from my mind including: the awkward English, and Jan-di’s mother’s desperation to marry her off to a rich dude…

    5) I realize I probably get my drama addiction from my mother who has a soap opera addiction (which came from her mother’s soap opera addiction). I grew up watching soaps with my mom, but stopped watching in middle school when I started spending a lot more time away from home. I found kdramas in my third year of college, and they strangely felt familiar… I now see why!

This is me…I would talk about All My Children and General Hospital with my 4th grade girlfriend after watching it with my mom. We were soap opera sisters because all the other girls watched young and the restless/bold and the beautiful with their moms! And thank goodness I didn’t find kdramas until after I had a career because I’d be useless right about now! And don’t get me started in DB! This place was made for me. I doubt I’ll ever watch BOF though. I tried, I really did, but that first episode was cruel and heartless and the overacting was too cringeworthy for me. I’m so picky about dramas, so I had to drop it! I’m reading all the beanie posts though, and feel like I’ve seen it now. Does that count?

      1
      1

I can understand choosing not to watch BOF. I am re-watching for now out of curiosity, but probably will drop it before finishing it. It was a drama that I could stand in the past, even though I saw the flaws, I overlooked them. It almost is like going through my old things and finding the fake plastic jewelry I wore as a kid, I loved it then, but it just seems silly compared to the jewelry I wear now.

    6) I have super fond memories of watching this show, and on every commercial break on the streaming site I was using, jumping to DramaBeans to read the recap of what I just watched while commercials rolled.

    7) In hindsight, I feel like I owe this site, Big Time. I came across this site trying to find a song, finding a Coffee Prince recap instead, watching that, following it up with Boys Over Flowers, Secret Garden, and then realizing I needed kdrama in my life. (The rest is history)

I currently have too much time on my hands, almost considering a binge re-visit to ‘Boys Over Flowers’ (the 2nd drama I ever watched) since so many beanies are discussing it. Someone stop me!

    *chants BOF! BOF! BOF!

… I’m convinced. The first time I watched it, it was like crack (I skipped a midterm in math to watch it instead). Somehow, it still has some of that draw to me even years later (please don’t judge!). I was still very, very green to dramas, but maybe time will be the factor that makes me see BOF for what it really is? I still remember though, that when I watched it for the first time, I finished it and screamed “THAT’S IT?!” (apologies to my old roommate for the 3am wake-up…) because I was new to kdramas, and not used to one season shows. I guess it is time to learn from past mistakes though? (Or at least, that is how I will rationalize this binge)

      1
      1

Wow – you skipped midterms? But prolly me also if it Math lol. I’m watching it first time and Jandi is really annoying, the plot holes are as insane yet I can understand the crack factor. Enjoooy the ride!

Yeah, I was honestly, supremely, lucky. My professor allowed us to drop 1 test (besides the final) no questions asked, and I was doing well in the class. I had been in a really tough spot in my personal life, and needed a break from everything. Dramas allowed me to vent in a much more positive way than I probably would have otherwise.

Just finished my binge of ‘Fight My Way’ in ~24 hours. It was exactly what I needed, and so enjoyable. I like that I was prepared to let it go, but it ended on a note that will stick in my heart.

The friendship between Ae-ra and Seol-hee in ‘Fight My Way’ is possibly my favorite. This window into their childhood made me cry!

Yes! This flashback was so sweet. Sweet lil’ Seol-hee waking up early, going over to Ae-ra just to take care of her in the morning was just too cute. She really was a natural born mother. I loved the Fantastic Four and wished they gave us more of them.

Just watched the first episode of Fight My Way. Mad at myself for not watching it sooner, but at least now I can binge it!

It’s my go-to drama when I have nothing to watch and I always finish the whole thing when I decided to rewatch. Like you, I forgot how many times I’ve seen it.
