    Kim Jung-hyun did a good job in this scene. He was a kid in a candy store. It really felt like he had never seen some of those bike irl but and an understanding and appreciation of them. I really appreciated him acknowledging the custom yellow with blue/purple flames chopper. Finally we get some info on his passions and relationships with bikes in this episode.

      Yeah finally! And to think that he wanted to be a motorbike designer! How cool! I wish we had been shows that his passion was more than just drawing. I mean, nothing bad with this. But to think that he had thought further than the everyday past time…
      And I loved this scene too! I like your description of the candy shop. He’s like a kid actually..in front of Eun Ho and in front of something he loves! 😊

          I guess I’m the opposite lol. If I really like a show..then I try myself to avoid all spoilers. This happened while I was watching Tunnel recently. I didn’t go on the fan wall until I watched the ep haha. With School, I have to log out of my insta😂 so i don’t accidentally see any videos!

I\’ve been confused about Sang Mi and why she says \”save me\” to Sang Hwan…instead of the more common, less weighty term \”help me\”.

    Sang Mi’s situation is dire and she’s actually in a position where she needs to be ‘saved’ from these people.
    I can now put my mind to rest thanks to Sang Hwan who has noticed the difference too.

      Have you tried Hwang Jin Yi? One of the best HJW roles, and definitely one of the best drama female characters created. The drama itself is one of my favorite sageuk.

        Really? No, I haven’t seen her in saguek at all.
        I’ve only seen her in Secret Garden (it’s been ages so I don’t remember her or her character) and The Time I Loved You with Lee Jin Wook (…and I dropped it 8 episodes in…)

          She actually sealed her status as a respected actor through her sageuk drama Damo (a classic) and in korea, people remember her sageuk best. I actually haven’t finished Secret garden, and barely glimpsed at The Time I Loved you. But her performance in Hwang Jin Yi is something else, unmissable. Especially once she finishes training and becomes an actual gisaeng. She even won the Daesang for it, which at the time, was even more prestigious than it was now. Trust me, the drama might look a bit old, but it’s really memorable and well-made and doesn’t lose in quality to the best current sageuk.

          You can find an officially subbed version on KBS World on youtube. The first 2 ep is the childhood portion, she then comes in ep 3 as a young trainee, with an extended cameo from a young Jang Geun Suk, and then later when it comes to the main part of the story kicks in and she’s a gisaeng-slash-ultimate-girl-crush, Kim Jae Won is the main male lead.

            Late to this but it’s never too late to fangirl right? 😉 You know how there are some characters that are well acted? And then there are those characters which are not just about great acting, but are kinda like so special and uniquely awesome and charismatic you can’t imagine anyone else playing the role? Like RDJ as Iron man, or Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow? Well, to me, HJW’s Hwang Jinyi is like Vivien Leigh’s Scarlett O’hara. 😀

    Maybe you took a break from DB when the article was posted? Mostly, Beanies reacted to the news either excitedly, or were disappointed thinking HJW would “babysit” in the drama. Polar opposite reactions. (As an aside, I see LSW more as Jik from UF btw 🙂 )

      Haha..no actually. It’s because I didn’t click on any of the articles about Hospital Ship other than when it was announced that Ha Ji Won was cast. I only found of LSW is in it yesterday on insta. That’s why I was surprised.
      Ah ok..yeah they’ve cast Kang Min Hyuk as her co-star? I’m not a fan of him either, so I don’t really have a particular opinion about them as co-stars.
      if it gets good reviews, there’s a good chance I’ll tune in to try:)

    I think the woman police patrol realized there’s something odd with the whole situation. I just hope she will help the boys in rescuing Sang Mi in the future.

      Yeah that confused me actually. I thought they were all part of the cult? And that’s why the police took Sang Mi back to her dad..
      It seems that the police know that such a cult exists but turn a blind eye because of the bribes…and it seems they’re not part of the worshipers..

        There’s no scene that shows they’re part of worshipers, I guess they just think that those people are good as they’re religious and just bring homeless people to them as they think it’s better for the homeless to have shelter and life there. The guy police patrol might be blinded by the gifts that he’d been received, so Sang Mi seems like a mental challenged one to him when she said those “religious” people are capable of killing a little kid.

          That’s the ending right? I only saw the ending after I posted that^.
          The scene I wrote about was when Sang Mi comes across the two police officers while Sang Hwan is in a continence store with the boys. The camera tricks us into believing that Sang Mi is outside the store Sang Hwan is in. But turns out its not:(
          He was actually looking out because he saw the gang from three yrs ago…

This show is making me hate some of the characters one minute and like them the next…
I\’m going to take that as a sign to sit back and just enjoy their interactions…
