      I actually thought she would survive, so stupid of me! All the signs were there, nice mom, long touchy speech from the first episode, setting her up with Hyun and of course the fact that kdrama doctors always manage to save everyone besides their family in the last minute. Yet I didn’t see it coming. I blame the fact that 70% of my focus was on how cute KMH is

        This drama is so deliciously melodramatic with a sprinkling of cheese on top. I’m loving it thus far.

        And yeah, the whole mom dying thing was similar to the very first scene of the show on the boat. Given what they showed us could happen, you knew it would happen again. That and they needed a catalyst for her to go from the hospital to the ship, ergo, bye bye mom.

          Deliciously melodramatic is a spot on description! As soon as she got that axe at the end of episode 4 I started screaming and closed my eyes, that was really good. But poor guy :c At least we got our cute trio as a relief.
          Yes, the mom obviously had to go for her to end up on the hospital ship *sigh* nice moms in dramas really have it bad

watching White Christmas like: I can\’t trust anybody in this drama! What if I start liking a character and then it turns out they\’re the devil???

    Me too!!! That teacher is way to shifty for me and I think that “doctor” isn’t really a “doctor” either. On Episode 3 now.

      I’m starting episode 3 as well and I don’t trust that doctor at alll. He looks like he’s enjoying all the conflicts way too much

      It’s Solomon’s Perjury ^^ It aired from December 2016 to January 2017 on JTBC and it’s a 12 episode high school murder drama. I watched the first 2 episodes and it’s pretty good!

    I can say that it’s a futile attempt. I still get attached even when I knew full well he’ll die in the first eps.

      I’m at episode 7 now and you’re right TT I’m pretty invested in his character, even though he’s dead. I just like everyone so much I fear finding out bad things about them in the next episodes

Solomon’s Perjury is up first. It already has an advantage because it won’t take much to make me care about Jang Dong Yoon and Seo Ji Hoon (ah Swoon 2017, what you do to me)

      Heh I feel like it’s much easier to make me feel something for the characters that died so they don’t count this time. Must make the game harder. I’m not sure if anyone dies in the first two episodes of White Christmas (or at all?) though.

I was so invested in the Jin Gyu character after the first 2 epi of SD but then I read he turns to the dark side and I don\’t think my heart can keep watching until I\’m sure he\’ll have a satisfying arc
