Beanie level: Eunuch in drag

Seriously though. I don’t know if I can handle Lee Joon Gi being this attractive on screen.

I think it has to do with something about his eyes. He is the master of that listless/forlorn/dejected look.

Just started Criminal Minds, the beginning is so sad but… is it terrible what really lingers is “holy smokes, LJG is super hot in modern uniform”?

HAHA! Not terrible, that’s what I’m thinking too lol!
I’m getting Two Weeks vibes from seeing him in a modern drama. And that is definitely NOT a bad thing. ;D

It has a different tone, but watching Falsify feels like I’ve been dropped into Secret Forest in the middle, and I kind of love it. Plus, y’know, Nam Goongmin never hurt things either.^^

Watching Yeo Jin-Goo drink a very full glass of water is unexpectedly attractive. See Reunited Worlds ep. 4 minute 12:35ish for reference.

And it was from the tap! I had about decided that Seoul didn’t have potable tap water.

I… don’t even know what to make of Man Who Dies to Live… I’m at once both scared and intrigued.

I just don’t like it. But somehow I want to continue watching to just watch the father torture the hell out of the son-in-law and make the in laws regret the way they treated his daughter.

Was anybody else just blown away by Reunited Worlds? I was–the tone, the directing, the acting… I’m totally looking forward to this ride!! ^^

Your screencap is perfect 😍 I loved it! The pacing, the small town setting, the first glimpses of the characters.

I’m glad you like the screencap, but you can thank the interwebs and my searchbar for it. I loved it too, so I chose it, but….

I’m trying so hard not to live watch it. I should learn my lesson from being in a constant anxious state while live watching Circle.

Thinking of watching the Tunnel tonight with some friends, but I don’t know where to go for reviews–mostly I’m just wondering if there’s anything super racy I need to watch out for. Help? Thanks!

Nothing racy. It’s more of a suspense film. I enjoyed this film. Plus it has Bae Doo-na.

it is actually quite a funny film, you know. Ironic, pointy, lots of moments where you cannot help but laugh out loud despite the grim circumstances. saw it on big screen and not a minute felt wasted.

I saw that in one of the reviews actually, and I’m hoping I do find it funny in moments–I like dark and gritty, but I like the little moments too. ^^

While by no means massive, Netflix certainly has expanded their kdrama offerings–I just saw Misaeng and Bad Guys on there! ^^

That have gotten a handful of really good shows recently. Yay!

Oooh that’s awesome, hopefully they can hook some people who aren’t into all the fluffy romcoms and melo stuff lol.

Hmm… I remember posting this morning, but I guess I just got distracted by wondering whether or not LJS can actually bake. Lol fun. ^^

Lol when your picture doesn’t attach to the post (see yesterday’s non-photo, I guess). Anyway, today my work ended, and it felt so good. Teaching Chinese was a challenge, but I grew a lot!

Where did you teach Chinese? What kind of programme was it?

The real question is: smiles, open mouth or closed? Teethy or not? I personally cannot pull off a closed mouth smile, while I have friends who refuse to show their pearly whites. ^^

… So there was totally supposed to be a picture with this, oh well.

Taking a 4 hr nap during the middle of the day feels like juuuust enough to make up for my lack of sleep in recent weeks. I’m one part embarrassed and two parts:

8 people, $15 per person, 19 rolls of sushi and 42 nagiri later… my stomach has doubled in size, but it thanks me. ^^

Has anyone ever wondered how they do the tattoos for photoshoots? Like, is it just painted on there? I’m assuming it’s not a sticker…

Ooh this made me think! If Shadowhunters was made into a kdrama. Oppas would look hawt in all those tattoos and there would be more shirtless scenes to show off the ink of course 😉 😀

As far as I’m aware it’s just a semi permanent ink that they draw on. You can get drawn on tattoo kits actually, where you leave it to dry for an h4 and it lasts so many. For professional photoshoots, MVs and movies the makeup department probably has a quicker way of taking it on and off

You know those moments when you weigh sleep against another episode? Yeah, now is definitely one of those moments. 4hrs of sleep is worth it if it means I get to finish Circle tonight… this morning.

I went to bed at 2 am. Up now, ready for the day, 4.5 hours later! Both so worth it!

Exactly. And what an ending to Circle!! This is another one I want a season 2. ^^

I think I understand everything about this photo except the odd plastic wrap everywhere. But hey, art! ^^ And I like the backpack.

One thing dramas have taught me: everyone has good and bad qualities, don’t judge based on just one side or the other. Fun to watch, less fun to experience, still true either way. ^^ Happy Monday!

…The real question is, if LJS was really sitting across the table from me, would I be blinking at him incoherently or passed out already from a bloody nose?

Now that I’ve officially caught a cold, I feel even less guilty about watching dramas all during my off hours. Hooray for work!! ^^

I’ve seen odd ways to introduce skinship, but I must say this takes the cake: you know you’ve watched too many dramas when helping a girl trim her eyebrows with a surgical scalpal feels cute.
