            Thank you so much for the feedback! Some of these issues we’ve fixed in the next podcast (though my crappy mic remains an unsolvable problem for now), but we hope practice will help us get better at podcasting in general. =) Also, I can totally believe we sound alike @obsessedmuch. I find I agree with most of your comments here anyway. =D

      Yeah, I’ve had to grudgingly admit that he’s really good here! I’ve eschewed him since those unpleasant remarks he made about “ugly” people, but Lookout’s premise and production team hooked me, and then it just got better and better.

      Sometimes it takes a good villain/anti-hero to really bring out the layers in people, doesn’t it? Like Kim Kang-woo in Story of a Man, which is probably his best role.

      I’m a week behind in Circle but desperately don’t want it to finish!

      I keep wishing for a director’s cut of SW featuring only Bong-bong x Min-min, because the rest of the show was total nonsense, and those two singlehandedly made it not just watchable, but squeeable, adorable, unmissable and all-round generally urmagurdish. Death by squee is real!

        Honestly, I knew they would ruin me from the moment he called her damn sexy. We definitely need a director’s cut! Except…I’m starting to wonder…was the nonsense necessary to keep the squee from killing us? Would I be able to survive if all their scenes were cut together like that!?

I don’t understand how we’re meant to keep up with all the dramas AND get sleep. I haven’t slept for FOREVER.

On the other hand, I finished Hwarang (loooove) and replayed this scene 953409583 times.

    I left hwarang at around episode 18 and now I am wondering if I should go ahead and finish it because you loved it and I have loved almost every show that you have loved!

      If you got to 18 and dropped it, that’s more than a fair shot! I watched it considering Park Hyung-shik the main character, which I think makes the difference in how I took the show as a whole. The hidden king character is one of my favourite tropes (see: ….er, titles I can’t name because it ruins the entire story, noooo…but two of my most-loved book series anyhow) and that hero’s journey, omg, I love it. Hwarang also delivered brotherhood feels that were like…a cross of Warrior Baek Dong Soo and Merlin, except with a really happy payoff.

      But it’s all a matter of taste in the end, I don’t think there are any reliable predictors other than watching stuff for yourself, unfortunately! And then you run into the aforementioned perpetual dilemma of whether to sleep or watch one more episode…
