I deeply hope that it follows School 2013 more than School 2015, that in my perception the last one was a disaster, not only in the matter of the romance, but of the history itself.

The ONLY idol actor that I would want in this is Got7's Jinyoung who played the child version of Lee Min Ho in the Mermaid drama.

I want this to focus on finding new fresh talent, but I feel like SM will get their greedy mits on this too after their Key East parternship sigh.

I want Kim Sae Ron as the female lead. She hasnt got a hit drama yet.

And I think I read this will be the last school series.

Because of Love in the Moonlight, would Kim Yoo Jung be too big for this series?

My hope is that they'll do away with the "bully" story line. School 2013 was fine but I'd have appreciated it if they didn't try to glorify Lee Jong-seok and Kim Woo-bin's characters. Whatever reasons behind their actions can't justify the violence. Hopefully, they'll focus more on verbal bullying and alienation as compared to violence as well instead of just straight out fighting. And more spotlight on the female characters too. Stop trying to sell bromance!

I always remember daniel choi as teacher in 2013, where he was actually younger than some of his students XD. He was great. is he back already? No drama from him before entlistment. The male teacher in angry mom would be nice, too.

As much as I want to see Park Bo-gum on screen as soon as possible like the others, he is too big for this. Like, come-on. He would have been perfect post-Wonderful Days but not post-Reply and especially post-Moonlight. So is Kim Yoo-jung.

It would also be great for the industry as a whole to discover new talents.

School 2013 was my first drama and it will always have a special place in my heart. Heungsoon was my original drama OTP. I hope School 2017 is good.

Please cast the solomon's perjury babies!! I haven't watched any of the school series but from what I've heard it can get really emotional and the sp cast so have the gravitas to pull it off. Plus most of them are actual teenagers.

I feel like the guys benefit more from the School series than the girls. Apart from Kim Sohyun (who is already famous), all the breakout actors from the recent school series were males... eg: Lee Jongsuk, Kim Woobin, Nam Joohyuk and Sungjae.

Even though many want new talent, I would like to see Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Sae Ron together in this. Both are good friends in real life and have expressed their interest in acting in a high school drama. If they add Yeo Jin Goo and GOT7's Jinyoung in, it'll be perfect.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish to see AKMU kids in here, especially Suhyun who I feel has that instinctive quality every time she acts in their MVs. She just "gets" it, from the small gestures to her twinkly eyes, she is very expressive yet subtle. I actually root for Jackson instead of Jinyoung since I feel that Jackson has that youthfulness. Every teen drama needs a class clown, right?

As for brattiness, nobody does it better than Jisoo but I think that role would be one too many time in the same pair of shoes for him... Which brings me to Jisoo the girl from Blackpink, who I find has a really goofy yet clever character which is both relatable yet rare to find in any K-Dramas so far.

Here's hoping there are meatier roles for the teachers this time around. It's something both School 2013 and Dream High did right. Just hoping School 2017 is a return to a more realistic school drama like School 2013. School 2015 was really a chance to do a realistic female centric storyline (especially with KSH as the lead) but the writers blew it. It would be nice if School 2017 makes an attempt. I hope the producers really cast strong actors all around. I really don't want to see anyone in this drama idol or not who can't act. But as far as the lead roles go, I'd rather see actors get those parts. It seems like it's getting harder and harder for actors (and especially actresses) to get breakthrough roles.
