Hwang Jung-eum traps her tiger man in Lucky Romance

I have to say, it’s pretty refreshing to meet a drama heroine who blurts, “Just sleep with me once!” Of course, she has her reasons for being so forward — Lucky Romance is the new MBC rom-com about a woman so obsessed with luck, fortune, and fate that she takes it very seriously when a fortuneteller warns her that the only way to turn her bad luck around is to have a one-night stand with a man born in the year of the tiger. It may be outlandish, but it’s clearly going to make for some hilarious antics in the bedroom.
Hwang Jung-eum (She Was Pretty) and Ryu Joon-yeol (Answer Me 1988) pair up in the opposites-attract comedy, where she’s so superstitious that it rules her life, and he’s an engineer who only believes in facts, figures, and things he can see.
He’s the genius CEO of a gaming company while she works a myriad of part-time jobs like a proper Candy heroine, and though he’s usually a cold unfeeling sort, he becomes so fascinated with this strange woman that he can’t stop thinking about her. Lee Soo-hyuk (Neighborhood Hero) and Lee Chung-ah (Vampire Detective) co-star as their first loves who come back into the picture and complicate the romance.
The latest teaser has Hwang Jung-eum clamping a hand over Ryu Joon-yeol’s mouth and freaking out that they’ll get caught, but later she drunkenly shouts for him to sleep with her just once. Or maybe she’s talking to that tree, because then she asks it, “Are you born in the year of the tiger?” She wanders down the street shouting, “Are there no tigers here?” and then spots Ryu Joon-yeol coming right at her. I don’t know if he’s lucky, but he sure is a tiger. Rawr?
Lucky Romance airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on MBC, beginning May 25.

Agreed, she looks gorgeous! And this may be my favorite haircut on Hwang Jung-eum. I am so crazy excited for this show, and crossing my fingers to see Ryu Joon-yeol getting the girl 9whether he wants her or not, ha)!

I only made it till around ep 9 or 10 coz the plot just didnt feel engaging enough to keep me hooked.
No complaints about Lee Soo Hyuk's acting though, he played the im-your-greatest-fan-teach-me-how-to-be-a-hero-senpai role pretty well haha.

LCA rocks as a vampire in vampire detective curious how she will show her funny personality in this drama.
It's my firs time knowing LSH since I watch only limited kdrama but seeing people excited about him make me more curious about his acting.

Ommo cant wait for the show to finally airing! Now I imagine that Je Suho will use his brain to win some money at casino. You know by using counting the card or something like that I saw before at 21 movie (ugh remind me that I am so bad at math XD).
I read from somewhere that both male lead have been in Canada/USA, can we have them speaking in English with their deep and honey voice please?

And I'm looking forward to the other characters. Sure ZeZe employees and people around with our main characters would be a bunch mix of funny, irritating, loveable that will surely get hook to.

Immediately got reminded of Master's Sun after the part talking about a heroine who keeps pestering the male lead to sleep with her HAHAHA.
Definitely looking forward to this drama, at least we know that uri Junghwan would get the girl this time!

I don't really understand how is it that my reply to comment has caused you offense but it seems like it did. I merely meant that she did two with Ji Sung, no shipper wars there(I mean there was but multiple personalities don't count, do they) and then all hell broke loose in SWP. I know when you write, people read it differently since you have no idea about the tone of the comment but I swear I meant no harm to any actor or ships. Peace out.

I still wish they changed his hair though, colored it or put it up or something. Cos he reminds me so much of his Junghwan character with the teaser showing the typical tsundere behavior. I was hoping it'd be different, at least in looks. I hope my impression is wrong though.

I love all four of these people and I'm excited based on that alone, lol. Obligatory HJE's hair looks great and also that pink dress she is wearing in a couple of these screen shots is lovely. Lee Soo Hyuk's character looks like he is gonna be cheeky and I'm excited to see that since he is pretty cheeky in real life.

Sawwry but I just want to skip the squares, stick to the main couple as the are in the manhwa and want the second leads to date!! They have so much in common... they are vampires and were so cute -for like 3 seconds- on High School King of Savvy!!! Lee Chung Ah and Lee Soo Hyuk would look cute together
