Go Kyung-pyo becomes Jang Dong-gun’s target in revenge thriller
by girlfriday
Go Kyung-pyo, Song Sae-byuk
The main cast is complete for the new revenge thriller Seven Years’ Night, featuring a murderous clash between two fathers, played by Jang Dong-gun (Crying Man) and Ryu Seung-ryong (Guest). The movie is the highly anticipated adaptation of the bestselling novel by Jung Yoo-jung, and the latest project from director Chu Chang-min of Gwanghae, the Man Who Became King.
Ryu Seung-ryong plays a man who accidentally kills Jang Dong-gun’s daughter and is overcome with guilt at what he’s done. Jang Dong-gun in turn plans the perfect revenge against Ryu Seung-ryong over seven years’ time, and vows to kill his child to even the score. Go Kyung-pyo (Cantabile Tomorrow, and soon to be in Answer Me 1988) has been cast to play Ryu Seung-ryong’s son and the target of Jang Dong-gun’s revenge. Oh no, don’t kill Go Kyung-pyo! How could anyone want to kill that boy?
Song Sae-byuk (Deoksuri Brothers) has also joined the cast, but his role is much more mysterious, which of course makes me suspicious from the get-go. All we know is that he’s a crucial character in the story from the start, because he knows the secrets and the tragic events surrounding the son and two fathers. It’s said that he’ll “open up a road to a new fate.” Is it a new fate where Go Kyung-pyo doesn’t have to die? Because I choose that one.
Seven Years’ Night is planning for a 2016 release.

Don't die, Go Kyung Po!
He's really a great actor. He's so silly in his dramas, but was excellent in High Heal with Cha Seung Won.

Killing someone else's child because he was involved your child's accidental death? So, it's about a normal human, troubled by guilt, being stalked by a psychopath?

All the awesome actors in this movie. So who will be the lady in this movie. Jang Dong Gun acting with children again in this movie. Last movie as kid murderer this time as a father.
This is are like dream-cast. I bet actors in GKP age range will be jealous with the casting. I wonder if Park Bo Gum will make cameo. It will be not them if not in the movie. By the way, Ryu Seung Ryong and GKP acting in blockbuster movie Roaring Currents. RSR also in upcoming movie The Hymn/Dorihwaga with Song Sae Byuk. Can't wait to see the red carpet for this movie premiere.
