    It’s been a while I’ve seen a comment on fashion from you. I really like how this drama looks aesthetically, from the clothes to the cinematography (and make-up for the girls!). It helps makes all scenes integral to the story. The different plot threads and subplots don’t feel out of place. They feel all connected as part of one world. Of course, besides from the directing, the writing helps in that aspect too. And the chemistry between every player in the cast, of course. 🙂

        I feel like they expanded their parts and I’m grateful but yup I wanted more too. They had great chemistry and their backstory was good. I also liked how once they got it cleared up then bam we’re doing this. 😍

I can understand her plan to (I assume) market So-rim as a solo artist because she\’s business-minded and not pretending otherwise. Even if it\’s presumptuous of her she knows how the business works.

I really love that CEO Yoo is a woman in a position of power who gives zero f***s about how she\’s regarded when it comes to running her business. She really does care about these kids\’ well-being.

      I’m having a blast reacting to it! Last two episodes later tonight…I’m a bit sad it’s almost over, though my wrists will be glad for a break from all the typing and screen grabs. But whatever will I do with my evenings from here on out?

          Whoa, didn’t realize I’d gotten that into it this episode, but there was a lot to unpack. There was a lot I didn’t even get into as well. (I have a LOT to say about CEO Yoo, for example. May write up a little something before I start the final two later.)

          But yeah, definitely not doing this again for a while. Will just go back to my occasional posts and comments. (Watch me eat my words and come up with a new drama project on Monday.) May finally start Rescue Me though, now that this is over and there aren’t any AoY2 subs to be found.

            Didn’t I say this drama will provide plenty of analysis material for you to feast on? 🙂 It’s deceptively fluffy at first glance, but there’s substance there for sure. Someone said this about TLAHL which I agree with: A nice balance of light easy-breezy watch if you want to just bask in the squee factor. At the same time, subtly crafted and well-thought out enough even for the small plot threads, we can turn our brains on and not feel guilty for watching brainless TV. Plus, I personally think it’s a rare case of good pacing for a rom-com. 🙂

        Ahahaha, you’ll probably stew with cuteness withdrawals! Han Gyulie and Sorim’s relationship was the highlight of this show for me, but the way the writer fleshed out all the side characters just blew me away. I swear I cared for each and every one of those precious puppies!

    Yoon hair color changes so many times, Liar Beanies had a theory he did it to show remorse since yellow wouldn’t go well with being apologetic but who knows. 😛

    I love magnae/leader relationship in real-life bands. Who knew I would love it in a drama as well 🙂 Even in real life, for 70% of idols bands, the magnae gets it tough at first and can’t talk back because of seniority and has to hold every grudges in, but then gets doted on and becomes the “evil magnae” or magnae-on-top later on, and “bullies” the hyung. I love that it’s so much a thing it has its own name, lol.

    Best girlfriend ever. Sometimes, you just need to be there for each other. So lovely she sang their “It’s Ok” song for him. They both sang to each other twice now 🙂 Hangyul : Bar serenade/Bike; Sorim: Showcase, this. Score: 2:2 😛

      I also loved how it faded into an acoustic version of the song when she stopped singing, which was lovely and just fit the scene so beautifully.
