Beanie level: Water maid

I’m rather sad that the Reid character in the korean version is less badass/know-it-all than the original. He is my absolute favorite character. And this scene is a good example of why. #CriminalMinds

I had a hard time separating the original characters from the Korean counterparts. The korean version of Dr. Reid was the biggest disappointment. He didn’t have the same vibe or sorted of social awkwardness of the original. I wanted him to be the weird genius prodigy wunderkind always spouting random facts.

I very much feel the same way.

At some point the Reid-charcter suggested that the murderer suffered from split-personality disorder and then one of his team members immediatly contradicted him by mentioning that in none of their cases ever has a murderer suffered from that. I mean statistics are Reid’s thing and making a suggestion without factual backhground is also very un-Reid-like.

This character had the most potential but he fell flat for me, even if I didn’t compare him to the original.

Too true, he was the only character that didn’t make an impression. I do really like the Garcia character, what little we got of her.

I totally agree with you. I love Dr Reid Spencer but the K-drama version is a huge letdown. Hopefully he will grow into the character.

So is Jun Ki’s character modeled after Derek Morgan? Has to be right? I hope he has the same kind of banter with the K-drama version of Penelope Garcia, but a milder version obviously since it is Korea after all and some of their exchanges were a tad risqué for work haha 😜

Not sure. He could be an amalgamation of some of the characters. It’s kinda hard to say at this point.

This scene has me giggling every single time. I just love this drama – although there is remarkably little drama going on. #LoveO2O

Does anyone know any similar dramas?

Boss and Me. I think it’s the same author.

Boss and Me is the same author but I *personally* didn’t like it. At all. I kept watching it because people kept saying how similar it was to Love O2O but I didn’t see it at all.

I did do a lot of FFing … and he must have been so cold ’cause his hands are always red! I liked their chemistry, though; they did a movie together that was pretty cute.

Smooth going there Dong-man. I espescially like how honest they are about their expectations in regards to their relationship. No uncertainty on that front which is really refreshing.

Yay, sparks flying everywhere between Ae-ra and Dong-man.
Finally we left the are-we-or-aren’t-we-dating-phase and are now in the middle of the readjustment phase. It’s still totally adorable.

Rewatching Secret Love Affair for the millionth time. Everything from the writing, directing to the acting is so good. It always awes me how this show manages to be so intense yet understatet.

I just binge watched it last week in 14+ hrs (ff the slow mo walks n romance) . My ass was glued to my chair which later caused back pain+sore butt. But hey! worth it cause I got to enjoy chubby, genius, Boyish Yoo Ah In and the noona romance 👌🏽
