Hong Jong Hyun was overacting in Moon Lovers like everyone else but he’s so different here. I am liking Won, Rin and San so it’s a great start.

          Haha, it does get more angsty, but it’s been pretty good at balancing that with funny, uplifting moments.

          Actually, I just didn’t rewatch early eps as much as I have recent ones so that’s why I had forgotten some of these enjoyable early bits. I’ve gotten more invested than before recently, so that’s a positive thing.

I was worried about how show will handle Tae Ho but with ep 12, I’m very happy not only with how the drama addresses Eun Ho’s self doubts but also her inability to own up to her feelings for Tae Woon.

    The whole episode was really good like that actually. And with Sa Rang and her mum, and Hee Chan, and Dae Hwi and Tae Woon… just A+ thematic and character development

Whilst I was all hyped & ready to be Tae Slayed, I’m surprised at the nuggets of wisdom that this drama holds. Don’t be misled by it being a college drama, it’s more grown up than many shows out there
