It’s from a webdrama After School : Lucky or Not starring Kim So Eun and 5urprise. It’s weird af but really entertaining.

Kang Tae Oh became my puppy after this show <3

The panda moto bike was gold ! Yoo Il reminds me so much of Host Club’s Tamaki with his narcissism. Boys and girls love him haha.

It gave me Ouran High School Host Club vibe~ I want to know where that bird comes from. That’s the show’s real mystery LOL

I love the opening with the cartoon design 😀

Hehe… you are watching this for the first time? It is so weird that it is hilarious! Like I didn’t know what the hell was going on but I wanted more! 😛

I finished it a hour ago. We are like Kim So Eun. We don’t know why we’re here but we end up getting along with the weirdness.

I discovered the webdrama After School : Lucky or Not and why did I not watch it earlier ?! It’s weird AF but the good weird à la Hana Kimi. I cried laughing so much at the weirdness of the show ! Kim Soeun and 5urprise did a really good job ! Kang Tae Ho as the sportsman is my favorite <3

Hahaha this drama is so weird 😆😆😆😂 but still entertaining!

This reminds me of Surprise U drama…Have you watched “beginning”? It is also a mini drama (or a 15 minutes movie project for each boy), it’s not exactly as light as this one but I think it is worth checking out.

No I haven’t but I’m putting it on list. Thanks 🙂

I first saw Yoon Kyun Sang in Pinnochio as Lee Jong Suk’s brother. He was really good and expected more from him. And he delivered ! Lee Bang Ji was my favorite character in Six Flying Dragons and Moo Hyul was my favorite puppy. He was so precious and I rooted for him to progress and be a good bodyguard to Lee Bang Won. I also liked the bromance ! Warrior Moo Hyul

7

I liked him in Faith (my first kdrama) then in Pinnochio. I still need to watch Six Flying Dragons so I’ll look out for him.

He was great as Moo Hyul. He really transformed from innocent young guy to experienced warrior.

    1
    1

Yes I liked his evolution. I’m going to watch Tree With Deep Roots to see what happens the character.

      1
      1

Tree!! Yes!! …… Do watch Tree With Deep Roots and see what you think. I watched it a couple of months ago and found it to be great. When you watch it, you will most definitely see what happens with the character (and some other ones too).

        1

My drama list keeps getting longer *sigh* Well if it’s for Moo Hyul I can do it 🙂

I admired Byun Yo Han more for his acting skills in Misaeng and Ex-Girlfriend Club than his beautiful face but his looks in Six Flying Dragons as Lee Bang Ji toped everyone even Yoo Ah In (I still love Lee Bang Won <3). In sageuks my favorite characters are always the bodyguard/swordsman so it doesn't feel strange that he's my favorite character.

6

I honestly didn’t know who Byun Yo-han was until I watched Six Flying Dragons. What an interesting and memorable character Lee Bang-ji was.

    1
    1

I never recognize him in his project so I was surprised to see him in 6FD ! He’s such a great actor and I kind of want a spin-off for Lee Bang Ji (sageuk really suits him).

      1
      1

Yes, you’re right, you just don’t recognize him. At least not right away. I haven’t seen his other dramas but I’ve seen pictures and wow, it’s like a totally different person!

He’s like a chameleon. I’m trying towatch his indie movies but they’re hard to find.

Jo Jung Seok as Chef-nim in Oh My Ghostess . No words needed.

The first time I saw Yoo Ah In was in Antique Bakery and he was such a cute boxer. I wanted to protect him until I watched Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I’m not the type to be all damsel in distress but I wanted him to protect me. And nobody can forget his hotness in Chicago Typewriter (I’m still not over it !)

I first saw Kim Jae Wook in the movie Antique Bakery but his role in Coffee Prince as Waffle Oppa won me over. It reminded me of my love for quiet but sweet characters with fabulous hair in Jdramas. Let’s be real he was soooo pretty <3

The first kdrama that I truly loved despite its flaws was That Winter The Wind Blows . There was so much pretty in this but Jo In Sung as Oh Soo… GOSH that’s what I call a fine man. His character was charismatic, cunning but at the same time sweet and true to his feeling. The close-ups on his face (and everybody else’s) made my heart skip a beat more than once. I never knew before this drama that a man with suspenders could be THAT hot *fan herself*. I liked his style in this style. He’s actually my favorite Korean actor and more than “just” a crush.

never say ‘that winter the wind blows’, am not really the “makjang” type of person (i think that’s the genre it falls under) but i loved/adored him in ‘it’s okay, that’s love’, and i kinda wish he would return to the small screen soon,

    1
    1

TWTWB is more a melodrama but has makjang trope (hello fauxcest). I was happy to see him reunite with the scriptwriter No Hee Kyung for IOTL. He’s stuck in Chungmuro for now I hope his new project will be great.

I suffered sever SLS in the korean adaptation and it was the exact same thing in Hana Kimi . WHY ?! Ikuta Toma as Nakatsu was crazy, I mean really crazy. He’s one of my favorite dramaland’s character. He’s sweet, attentive, dorky, weird and an idiot. What else do you need ? Ike ike go go~

    I loved him in this!

Toma is definitely one of the best actors in his generation!

Yes, I haven’t seen anything new though but whenever I go watching a Jdrama or Jmovie, I always check his works first 😁

Oh good luck for your exam. You can watch Jdramas as a reward 🙂

Okay Nakatsu is one of favorite character of all of time but I had a huge crush on Nanba-senpai. I don’t even remember the actor’s name because he will always be the playboy Nanba-senpai <3

He’s Matsushima Hiro. But should also check out korean drama Love Rain because one of the supporting actor looks exactly like him.

    1
    1

Oh thank you ! I only knew his first name 🙂 I’m adding Love Rain to my to-watch list.

      1
      1

It’s Mizushima Hiro. Sorry for the typo.

He has not been in drama and movies that much ever since he took a break years ago to take care of his wife. His last movie was Kuroshitsuji, which he agreed to be in after much persuasion from the director.

Oh that’s why I couldn’t find anything past Kuroshitsuji 😮 I hope his wife is getting better !

My first SLS : Cha Eun Gyeol played by Lee Hyun Woo. Arrrgh the pain of seeing someone suffering of one-sided love was too much. How could my ray of sunshine, my first puppy in kdramas not get the girl ?! I even wanted his attempted relationship with Nam Ji Hyun’s character to work out. I usually don’t remember character’s name but he was the best thing in To The Beautiful You .

That was Nam Ji Hyun! Wow! I liked her for the short while she was in the show!

I only found out not long ago and they played together in two projects before TTBY. Now I want to see them reunite once again.

I kept going on watching this drama just to watch more of his cuteness. He was just soooooo cute in this drama. I agree, best thing in it.

    12
    1

I was surprised to like him because I used to like the tsundere type XD

      10
      1

I’ve always liked both. In YAB, I was gaga for Hwang Tae Kwang all the way, but had an enormous soft spot for Jeremy. In 1988, I was shipping her with Jung Hwang but wanted Taek for myself. In Healer, I loved Healer x2.
So I’m also love the tsundere type and they make me swoon while the cute type makes me squeal. I love swooning a little bit more than the squeeing but… You can’t resist the cute. And boy was Lee Hyun Woo cute in this.

        5
        1

In middle school I liked tsunderes then in high school I liked the cute types but not clingy. There’s a fine limit. I wanted Jung Hwan for myself and was ok with Taek. I shipped both Healer with her because they’re the same person anyways ha.
Nowadays I like the dependable, more mature type who shows their love through support. Growing older sure changes one’s taste 🙂

2nd drama crush again in middle school : Oguri Shun. He didn’t capture my attention in Gokusen but he stole my heart in Hana Yori Dango (sorry Matsumoto Jun). I still have a crush on him that’s how much impact his character Hanazawa Rui has. Always quietest and the sweetest one of the F4 <3

Haha but Tsukasa is very cute around Tsukushi^^ Do you still watch J-drama?

        0
        2

By the end of the drama I started to like him because Tsukushi changed him.
Now I watch maximum 3 or 4 Jdramas a year. Kdramas take too much place in my schedule ><

Have you seen Liar Game both versions? If so how’s the K version.

            0

I only watched the Korean version. Apparently the Japanese version is more focused on the games. The Korean version has a moore human approach and develop the characters’ ambition.

Fun fact (although you probably know this): Matsujun and Shun did not get along during Gokusen but when they met again in HanaYori, they became close till to this day ☺️

Since I feel nostalgic I’m going to post photos of my drama crushes. The very first one is Matsumoto Jun. *take a deep breath* Oh gosh I was in love with him in middle school. Gokusen was my very first drama and the quiet delinquent with a sweet heart and protective brother got me sooo bad. It didn’t help that I had a thing for tsunderes in mangas and animes. He talked a lot on the episode focusing on him otherwise he would just stay silent hanging in the background. You don’t know how much I admired that beautiful face haha. I loved his hair ! I actually like guys with long hair and it accentuated his resemblance to an manga character. Yep I was a huge nerd in middle school. And when I thought I was over the bad boy type bad boy Mori in School 2017 proved me wrong. BUT it will be for another time.

Gokusen was my first ever Jdrama and I still love him!!!

I too love Matsumoto Jun. The first drama I watched him in was Kimi Wa Petto 2003 and then the first season of Boys over Flowers (which I enjoyed more than the Korean one, which I didn’t even finished). My friend recommended Gokusen but I haven’t made time for it.

    1
    1

I LOVED him in Kimi wa Petto but my love started to die in Hana Yori DAngo because of Oguri Shun (not a loyal fan I know). If I remember well, he doesn’t speak that much in Gokusen and you should watch if you’re interested in high school dramas. It’s kind of episodic and every student has its own episode.

I was watching Nobunaga Concierto which is were I started liking Oguri Shun :). Then I saw the official poster for Gintama (I haven’t watched the anime) and I was so surprised when I found out it was him he looks so different. Yeah I like high school dramas I guess I will make some time for it soon, thanks :).

Oguri Shun always looks different that’s a thing I like about him. I watched Gintama the anime and I don’t know if I will watch the film because I’m used to the voice actors. Nobunaga Concerto is on my watch-list !

I never went through the whole Gokusen drama episodes but I was already a fan of its anime. If only they continued with the manga, there should have been a ShinxYankumi development >0< I'm still wary of teacher-student relationships but these two are sooo adorbs! <3 <3

I can’t find School 2 subbed so I’m watching Ha Ji Won’s cuts on youtube pretending to understand what’s going on. The friendship with Kim Minhee is strong on par if not better than School 2013’s !

After @moondane‘s posts I had the urge to listen my favorite track of Secret Garden’s OST

7
3

I liked a lot of the songs on the OST, my favourite is Reason by 4Men. I know that she doesn’t have anything to do with the OST, but I love that Kim Eun-sook’s dramas always have such amazing and addictive songs, and they help to reinforce the story. DotS, Goblin, Heirs, Secret Garden and City Hall.

I don’t especially like her dramas but the OST is always good.
