I had a flashback to my philosophy classes from uni when they started talking about memory and identity. If I never ever have to hear a debate over the phrase “I think, therefore I am” ever again, it’ll be too soon. I think I’ve studied it four separate times, including a class called “Life, Death, and Meaning.”
To be fair to JooMan, I got tired of the simple things and started wanting to be able to enjoy more expensive luxuries when I hit thirty and surveyed my career and said “nope. get to work” #FightMyWay
I empathize with Joo-man wanting more, but completely disagree with the way he is handling his love life. Seol-hee is content and he is not. She completely missed what he was trying to get at when they talked about it, but, he’s sooo not addressing their issues well. Actually, neither of them are.
Pretty sure Ahjumma is my spirit guide. I love the moment when Healer meets her for the first time and he’s just like, “Seiously?” even though they’re in the middle of being chased by a gang of assassins.
Hilariously, earlier today I was telling my friend that I’m basically just waiting to turn 75 so I can be the salty old broad we all know I really am.
Apparently “Sundae or Korean sausage is a Korean dish made generally by boiling or steaming cow or pig’s intestines that are stuffed with various ingredients.”
Which kinda just sounds horrible, but each to their own I guess.
And now we get another technology in the #Circle mix. And some shadowy bad guys who are probably the money behind all of this. Also, my Woojin Theory is ALIVE, baby! Dead as a doornail!
Anyone looking for great non-kdrama to watch should be dialed into #OrphanBlack. Tatiana Maslany plays over a dozen clones trying to figure out the mad science behind their creation. #CloneClub FTW
Oh man, RIP MK. But, I kind of loved the way the episode went overall — Kira does have point, and Sarah has always been my least favorite of the seestras. But I’m still pretty sure Rachel is up to No Good.
I mean, yeah, no to 8yo’s making decisions, though Kira has proven to be a bit more of an adult than her mother often times. Sarah is kinda irrational sometimes which has screwed her over more than once. I get that her instincts are often pretty spot on, but if I were her I’d stay in with crazy Rachel to take her down. Keep your enemies close and whatnot.
So agree with staying in the game. Sarah’s knee-jerk reaction is always to RUN. But all of your sestras are caught by Rachel now. Better to play the game and then trust that you can figure your way out at the end. What if Kyra has the same sickness that gets all the first generation clones?
Also, we now know that the cure to the clone illnesses rests in Helena’s magical healing womb.
When Helena’s babies healed themselves I maaaayyyy have thrown my hands up and said “Yessss! We have magical healing babies!” Because honestly, I love that this show is just crazy enough to go there and I don’t even question it.
Oh, c’mon, we knew those babies had to magical for at least a year.
I bet Helena dies by series end and Alison gets to play Mommy. Also notice how conveniently her foster kids disappeared? Suburban Gangstas don’t get to keep Foster Kids.
I remember watching and loving it some years back! Tatiana was brilliant!! But then I missed a few episodes in the middle and couldn’t understand a thing! This was before I had discovered the wonders of internet and that I could watch it online too 😛
I have one more theory about Woo-jin that hasn’t been debunked yet, but it’s also not looking great? I’m still hoping he’s alive and related to the creation of Smart Earth too.
