    teacher Shim feels like he is a teacher from some japanese drama who accidentally dimension-travelled into a korean one but didn´t even notice the difference, and just carried on his mission. Such an endearing character, really.

Final thought after the School binge ~ Dae Hwi looks like a younger Kim Soo Hyun, and Eun Ho reminds me of Yoon Seung Ha from Panda and Hedgehog, but I can’t figure out who my boy Tae Woon looks like?

Had the stomach flu yesterday and today, so I ended up binge watching the first ten episodes of School 2017 ~ I\’ve never seen one of the School series before, but this was quite adorable! I\’m a fan.

    get well soon!!! also, school 2013 is really quite good and though school 2015 is rather odd, you should really give the ost (reset by tiger jk ft jinsil) a listen. it has super meaningful lyrics and is honestly like emo cotton candy for your ears

Well, after a month of no dramas left me wondering when/if I would ever start again, I find myself at 1 am binge watching a random drama, as normal. I guess I just needed a vacation from drama land.

    Have you tried School 2017? It’s a bit cartoonish and exaggerated, but the characters are winsome. It’s the only show I’m keeping up with currently.

          Thanks! I just have my final internship and thesis presentation this fall, so I’m pretty excited now! But for the next couple weeks I’m going to sleep and watch dramas! Any advice on what to binge? Seven Day Queen is at the top of my list, so many beanies seem to love it.

            Congrats on passing! What are you studying, if you don’t mind me asking? (Feel free to not – I just have a lot of friends who just finished up PhD’s and other grad programs, so I’m always curious, and I know how hard y’all work.) Hopefully you’ll get some much deserved rest.

            I’m really digging Father is Strange right now — and I don’t usually do weekend family dramas. It’s got great characters and none of the storylines is too over the top. I’m also really liking School 2017 which is my first in that franchise. It’s pretty cute and fluffy, and I like all the leads. Forest of Secrets is obviously excellent, but not exactly relaxing…

            I didn’t watch 7DQ, but I maaaayyy check it out after all this hype. Melo sagueks aren’t really my thing (I prefer my sageuks to be of the fusion variety like Arang and the Magistrate or straight history like Six Flying Dragons).

3rd and 4th episodes of Best Hit? Daebak. Yoon Shi Yoon pretending to be from the 90s and discovering technology is hilarious. So far, I think Best Hit is a Hit for me 😉
