    I like how nonchalant she was about the whole thing since she really only wanted to find out the true culprit. While all those boys got thoroughly flustered.

    Maybe Viki/ Dramafever didn’t get the license for it? Considering the casts are popular idols, it is strange if no subber will pick it up on it.

    I think they are still figuring out who will do the sub, usually happen in the first few episodes of K drama after that it will goes smoothly. I learn that from FoS, it took almost two days for one episode to be subbed, but now it is subbed faster than a lighting ball. LoL. GAMSAHAMIDA Subbers, jeongmal, jeongmal gamsahamida OTL

I’m surprised that I actually enjoy watching School 2017 a lot. Kim Se-jeong might not be the best actress, but she’s good considering this is her debut in acting.

    I think the mystery about who did all the pranks are interesting! It seems like a rebellious group. haha! Both male leads are interesting as well. I think Kim Se Jong did well for first epi, maybe the character close to her real life.

      I know right. I watched the second teaser that DB posted here and I thought this series would be dark since there’s no subs and I don’t understand Korean fully. It turns out, the X is just a group of pranks who wanna stop the school from giving a lot of exams. I’m interested to know who are they (if it’s really a group). I hope they won’t revealed who’s X too soon because I want to keep my guesses and throw some theories first.

        My theory for now : There is one group consist of good grade students – who probably pulling the pranks because they are pressured / so no one can beat their grades.

        Then there is another person / group that really against the mock exams, putting up the results etc

          I also guess that it’s a group thing and like one the students said, the members do not know each other, but they just know their role. Only the leader of the group knows each member.

      It’s fun. (At least for me) The tone is much lighter than the previous School series, though. It reminded me a bit of Sassy Go Go.

      I read netizens’ comments – they said it is a unrealistic for school’s life. I think for some parts yes but it might not that bad? They also criticised Kim Se Jong’s acting, which is I I kinda agreed. She is like the centre of this drama, her screentime was quite a lot in epi 1, so her green acting was quite obvious. I’m more interested with the boys and also the teachers in this school so far.

        Yup it’s unrealistic, but I kinda put all the unrealistic plot aside and just enjoy the drama. It’s a drama afterall. It’s better than twins switched place and all, imo.

          I kinda get why they were pissed, especially since the PD promised we’d be getting something like School 2013. The School series is grounded on relatable adolescent issues and a realistic portrayal of high school life in Korea. If I remember correctly, School 2015 was criticized for its lack of realism as well.

If they’re not the end game, please just let their relationship grow into a sweet platonic friendship. I don’t want to suffer from second lead syndrome. Not again, School series.

    So do you know who the actual lead guy is? Is it him^? Or Mori (I don’t know the actor’s name lol).

      I think Mori is the actual lead guy, and this class President is the other guy. I hope he won’t fall into the second lead guy who pursues Eun Ho in this drama. I’m not ready for another love triangle in school series.

        But in saying that, I think the second lead already likes Eun Ho! The way he smiles at her and seems comfortable around her…more than his girlfriend…
        Are we being set up for heartbreak? LOL!

          I know right, but I think I’m already in a wrong ship if he truly likes her. But from the way he covers her from skipping school, smiles at her and let her knows about webtoon competition, it shows that he likes her. OH GOD, please no more heartbreak! I’m already in love with his character being the genius-humble-kind class president.

            Aw haha! I think I fell for Mori’s bad guy exterior! But I dunno, the nice guy inside and out is also very appealing at the moment! I did not expect him to be from a humble background…maybe I missed something in the teasers but I thought he was going to be from a rich family. He’s the opposite in fact!

      It’s webdrama, and it wasn’t released in Korea, but Thailand (weird, I know) and only then Dramafever bought the license to release this drama.

      Indeed, they are. Their chemistry is good, which is why I want more of them in regular drama instead. But then again, So Ji Sub’s chemistry with anyone is good. Haha I miss him in a drama, I don’t think he’s doing any this year.

          There are still a lot of drama titles that had been thrown into public with no casting news yet, so I just hope somewhere along, one of the PDs will offer him a lead role.

All these while, we could only see Sung Hoon’s deep connection with his doctor “omma”, and we hardly saw Sung Joon’s feelings toward his omma. But this scene says it all. 😭

Yang Se Jong managed to make me cry whenever Sung Joon-Sung Hoon reunited. I cried so hard at the end of ep14. I can feel Sung Hoon’s pain in his eyes and Sung Joon’s sadness thru his expression. 😭😭
