Beanie level: Errand boy

With Hyun Jae saying he’s not going anywhere, I really hope that he won’t be forced to go back to the past. Chaebal~

Yes pls! He also doesn’t know how he can go back, so I hope this drama won’t waste time to make him go back. 🙏🙏🙏

I love him in 2017. Plus, he has nothing waiting for him in the past except for his career in music, which is something he can still do in 2017.

Me waving at the writer for a loveline but got totally ignored. I shipped Nam Da Jung ❤️ Ha Woo Jin so hard, but the ship was never there. 😔

Finally finished watching Liar Game! Haha now I understand why people desperately want Season 2 for this drama! I need more!

Ahh how can the writer make me forgive Jamie and like her immediately because of this scene? #LiarGame

The other Fantastic Four. ❤️

I’m surprised that I actually love and enjoy the last episode more than I expected. I love all the fluffy moments in the last episode and they’re so perfect. ?❤️

Because even though it was fluffy, they were still so dysfunctional and hilarious at the end. They’re so entertaining together. I’ll definitely miss them.

I’m so gonna miss CEO Byun and his boys. 😂

I like how his own advice bites him in the a** in the next scene with his wife haha…

Hahaha and Ji Wook naively tried too, and it’s not working as well. 😂

I’m sad too. I’m gonna miss seeing you in small screen, JCW oppa. I’m gonna miss SP!

I am more sad than I thought I would be, because the office chemistry between them all was so amazing. Breaking them apart feels like separating a batch of puppies.

The last episode is so perfect! I love that I could enjoy more of the OTP moments w/o any disturbance of psycho murderer stories. I’m so gonna miss everyone in the “crazy and weird” law firm. 😊

The moment when Hwa Goon falls in love with Crown Prince. I feel you, girl. You’ll always be my favorite female second lead. 💕

Despite all the flops, all the cringe-worthy moments, I can’t believe that I actually finish watching this drama. I think the casts did a great job! I hope they get better project next time! #Ruler

Ga Eun ah, why you made me laugh when you ate those poppy pills and took the antidote. It’s just plain stupid, nothing to be proud of. Plus, those stupid ministers and scholars. *facepalm*

It was actually meant to be serious. But I was actually laughing! *facepalms with you*

    1
    1

I saw that clip. The trouble with this drama is that it takes itself so seriously but the actions and directing achieve the opposite effect. Thus, we always end up laughing when we shouldn’t.

      3
      2

You’re right. Some of the scenes were just downright ridiculous that all I could do was laugh.
Like that scene where Ga eun takes the antidote and then everyone believes that she died! *eye roll*
Like, it wasn’t even trying to be believable!

I know right, this drama has way a lot of cringe-worthy moments. I can’t seem to take this drama seriously ever since the writing seems to be all over the place.

IKR? Totally unnecessary for her to be the “hero”! Can’t they just get the dowager queen or even the fake king to eat the antidote since he will do anything for Ga Eun? I mean, really Show, that’s the best thing you can think of for our female lead?

    1
    1

I was thinking the same! I thought the Queen Dowager would wanna take the antidote as she trusts her son. But no, the writer wants to make Ga Eun the “hero” after all the cryings, but failed miserably. And I cringe when the King wants to leave the throne when the ministers don’t agree with him trying to make Ga Eun, the Queen. And he said, that maiden was the one to sacrifice her life when all the ministers were begging for their lives to be saved. I was like, uh-hello? Hwa Goon had done way more than Ga Eun? And her story will remain unknown.

I can’t agree with you more! RIP Hwa Goon – we know your sacrifice even if the whole of Joseon do not. I don’t think this has ever happen to me before in which I prefer the 2nd female lead to the first – I mean her character is just so kick-ass

I think I’m about to lose all my hair while watching Liar Game! Everytime when the other participants stupidly trust Jamie instead and then there’s Kang Do Young…Gahhhh

Ahahahaha! I know your feeling 😆This show is full of frustrations – and it serves its purpose. It is not a brain game solely but also game of trust & betrayal. Jamie is a scene stealer in this drama. and her bold liptick 👄

Kang Do Young is my ultimate villain crush.
Wait, he is a villain, right?

Now that I’ve watched SDQ ep 13, SP and Ruler ep 37-38, it’s time to catch up with Liar Game!

Appreciation post for Dong Ha for being such a great villain! Is it bad that I actually feel pity for Hyun Soo a bit when after knowing his backstory? Anyway, I’m looking forward to his next project!

Dongha is brilliant in SP. I haven’t seen him in anything else but he plays such a compelling anti-hero. (I say anti-hero bec in his mind, he does the right thing)

In both Chief Kim and SP , I love his acting, he surely can play different characters , his swahili is my favourite hahaha 🙂

Hahaha that swahili conversation. Lol 😂

I think he makes this drama more interesting to watch. He is always good. I first saw him in Glorious Days but never checked his name until Chief Kim.

    1
    1

Me too. I only checked his name when he’s really good in Chief Kim. I thought he’s a new actor, it turns out he’s done lots of dramas and movies before Chief Kim.

He’s played this character so well. He was compelling even when we didn’t know his story. It took me by surprise but then the show has been about false memory.

    1
    1

I’m satisfied because it remains with original synopsis that says the killer has amnesia. Well, his memory did distorted.

If I were to live in Joseon era, I’d want Chae Kyung’s wardrobe. Gosh, all of her hanbok(s) are so pretty! Here are some of my favorite:

Okay and I’d like Yeok’s wardrobe.

Haha I didn’t really put much attention on his style. This drama is one of the dramas that I’m so invested and focused on the heroin instead of the male leads.

There was a nice green/yellow outfit but I also liked the disguise costumes.

Ahh how can the writer makes me sympathize Yeonsangun in this scene? I actually love the Queen for being mostly the peacemaker, and not causing anymore trouble in the royal family.

So, Gon does love Hwa Gon. Writer-nim, just why did you kill her?! I’d be so happy rooting for this otp! You disappoint me, writer-nim.

This whole scene arguing about who’s the real King is kinda cringe-inducing to me. I was rolling my eyes, like STOP. It took them almost one whole episode just to debate who’s the King. 🙄 #Ruler

And the ministers moving from one king to another every time someone made a case for that king – my eyes were exhausted from rolling 🙄

    2

Lol I was laughing at how stupid that situation is. They’re all scholars and ministers, but they act like none.

Exactly! And they are the ones governing the country.

And they behave like the sheep they are in the final episode too. Such a bunch of cowards and weaklings.

What hope is there for Joseon? Except for The King and his trusted sidekicks of course kee..kee…

        Glad it’s over

I can’t help it but fall for you, oppa. True, there’s no cure, but I don’t mind having this love disease.
