Has anyone seen a drama where the female lead wasn’t shamed into taking off their glasses?! I’m proud of Chicago Typewriter for admitting that you can still be pretty with glasses.

        Yeah, she rotates between glasses and contacts, and JW’s seem to be just reading glasses.

        True, but that hasn’t really stopped her from wearing them (not that she particularly has a choice when she doesn’t have access to contacts, but I don’t think she really took his criticism to heart)

    I love the fact the Yoo Ah-in is wearing glasses 90% of the time. Not everyone has perfect vision or wants to wear contacts! *cough me cough*

    It’s hard to think of a heroine who wears glasses throughout a series. For male lead, I remember Daniel Choi’s character in High Kick through the Roof wears glasses 90% of the time.

      Are you asking I’m doing a series? I’ll post them whenever I remember about them, yeah! I just like how teaser trailers aren’t necessarily connected to the plot of a show, so they can be light and fun.

        I’m sure! I’ve come across a few of their funny videos and I love that about them! Their dorkiness behind all that oozing charisma is what makes them charming. 👍🏼 I love how Illhoon was just like ?🏻‍♂️ at the members in the beginning because there’s just no going back now.

For me, it’s Tree of Heaven. I was not prepared for that much tragedy.

    I think for me it was Cheese in the trap because i didn’t like how it ended too bad

      I don’t think I regret Cheese in the Trap. It fizzled out and ended up disappointing, but the first half was great and it was a good introduction to lots of rookie actors.

      I literally couldn’t watch drama for a while after I finished Tree of Heaven. I practically had whiplash.

      I also don’t drop k dramas but i ended up droping scarlet heart…I was so disappointed and then it turned into sadness and finally into anger because i really don’t think i can waste 20 hrs with no happiness although it almost all my favourite oppas 😢

    Hyde, Jekyll, Me. Because it stirred up lots of emotions and such, but with no payoff and it had so many flaws and lasted freaking 20 hrs and I even KNEW it was going to be bad, yet still watched it….

    Me Too, Flower! Because wtf was that show even? It’s not even one that anyone knows about, so it’s not like I can soothe myself with “at least now I know what everyone’s talking about” lol.

    EXO Next Door. Because I don’t even like EXO and it was just so bad.

      I tried Me Too, Flower for Yoon Shi-yoon but didn’t make it to the end. Yeah, EXO Next Door could have been cute but was basically awful.

    One More Time. It’s a Netflix short kdrama. It was such a waste of time. 1/3 of the show was showing that he kept repeating the same day, 1/3 showed this complex mythology, then 1/3 was forgetting all that and went with a nonsensical ending.

    For me (this might be a little controversial) but probably the princess’ man.
    To explain, I don’t like torture, and it literally made me feel sick when one of my favorite characters died in a brutal (and graphic) way. Also I can appreciate the ending on some levels, but really it made me mad.

      I get it. A similar thing happened near the end of The King 2 Hearts (I won’t say what, since you may not have watched it) and it completely ruined the experience of watching the show for me.

      I actually liked Missing You, but I think that was mostly because the first four episodes were so stunning they’ve drowned everything else out. I’d love for Kim So-hyun and Yeo Jin-gu to be reunited!

    I just finished that drama and LOVED the soundtrack.
    Btw, did you see the ep of Two Yoo Project Sugarman that was about this song/artist? It might be fun for you since it’s your favorite song 🙂

        Yeah, the entire OST for it was great and inserted so well! I’m currently watching My Girl for the first time, but not so sure how I feel about that OST. It was really grating in the beginning, but it’s become better, I’m just not entirely won over yet.
