Just curious, what exact time Open thread will be posted each Friday? I've always missed it since we're ahead of US time. Anyone can share?

I'm in Cali and it's usually posted between 5- 7 am PST. The earliest I've seen it (other than that one Open Thread Thursday) is after 4.
Hope that helps.

First, Congratulation for Kim Tae Hee and Rain finally tying the knots! So happy to hear the news. They've been dating forever ?
Second, does anyone know any update on Nam joo hyuk being the lead in Bride of the water god? I really hope he'll take the offer. I just can't get enough of him!
Last, i haven't watched goblin ep 13 yer though I know from many spoilers that eun tak finally take off the sword and he disappear, anyhow, I always had this assumption that he'll become a human after the sword is gone. They say he will become dust after the sword got pulled off. I mean, human are made of dirt/dust and goblin in of fire? So, maybe he'll comeback as a human this time, being mortal and all.. It's only a guess though ?

Some great new shows! And the tail end of some older ones. I'll start with the ones I like:
1. Introverted Boss: I thought this was just going to be an average rom com, but I really loved how they paralleled to Phantom of the Opera in the first episode - very cool style. The girl's over the top aggressive, the boy's under the floor sociophobic - how these two can meet in the middle is anyone's guess but I'm looking forward to finding out. I also think there's going to be great chemistry here when things get going. It helps there's a real mystery, as well as a terribly abusive dad to give some reason to his son's reclusiveness.
2. The Voice: wow, I don't really watch kdramas unless they're rom coms, but this show has me hooked so far. I was on the edge of my seat. I love the heroine's dead pan delivery, and Jang Hyuk is settling into a role I think he can really do justice to. I like they're not shying away from gritty violence, though a cliff hanger when we don't know what's up with a little boy was a bit much.
3. Missing 9: Another good start. I'm looking forward to finding out more about all these characters. I really like the main female lead. I thought she'd be one of those passive heroines but I love she's the best survivor of them all. Yay to her mom for teaching her some real skills!
4. Romantic Dr. Kim: Don't miss the special. It's actually another episode, not a prequel, and a really good episode at that. I'm in if they do a Season 2. So funny, btw, that Doldam's office manager turns up in Lobster playing a doctor. Lol.
5. Hwarang: I'm still intrigued by the main lead's parentage, and enjoying the bro stuff, but the romance has lost a little steam, and the pacing has slowed down because of flashbacks to scenes we've sseen minutes previously. Please don't ruin this show, PD Nim! Give me back some romantic tension and move those scenes along!
6. Lobster: Loved the last two episodes with the twists. Watching Lobster has been a little uneven for me so far but they seem to be ending with a bang. Nam Do my hero! I hope all our theories about mermaids pan out in the end and our OTP swims happily ever after.
7. Goblin: is it me, or do the characters even speak like robots? Why is this show so damned slow? So much talent, a unique storyline, and yet it's a chore to get through these over-long episodes. Not KGE's best work - I don't even like her character, maybe because of all those light-filled camera shots that try to make her out an angel or something, and especially because of the high school aegyoo acting. Ugh. The other three leads are great but I am bored by the pacing, the hollow sound effects that make me feel like we're in a library, and just want to get it done with now. Only two episodes left.

Legend of the Blue Sea - where everyone looks the same from one life to the next.
Goblin - where everyone looks different from one life to the next.
And Manager Jang got reincarnated from Teacher Kim's medical school to Legend of the Blue Sea hospital without aging a bit.

Keke me again.
I finished Page Turner a few months ago now and gave it to my mother to watch because I knew she'd like it. Since then she's been asking if I have anything else good for her.
However, I don't think she wants a full show; Page Turner is only 3 episodes, or I'd have no end of suggestions for her.
Does anyone have any suggestions of miniseries that have a similar-ish vibe to PT?

I'd recommend Splish Splash Love. 3 perfect episodes.
If anyone knows more miniseries of similar quality and vibe to Page Turner I'd love to know too!
