The female lead character is too pushy it's annoying, I was hoping for an extroverted girl who can understand the male lead as a socially awkward character, and guide him to be brave and to takes a step out of his shell slowly but steadily, in conclusion an extroverted character with charm and charisma (this is what people like about this trait), not the annoying pushy type, I hope they fix that.

Wow, that's pretty bold. But since I'm one of those viewers who's really struggling with Ro Woon I can't applaud hard enough. Fingers crossed.

I had so much high hopes about this one, but the first episode was a totally mess for me.

Now, I cannot give another chance, and I'm just waiting for "Tomorrow with you".

The new dramas of all networks are not working for me at all. Maybe I'll stick with "Chief Kim", but it's just a big maybe.

I'm still waiting for "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People" to surprise me too.

Wow - I wasn't expecting this, but I'll be grateful if they can make Ro Woon likable. I'm also a viewer who struggled to get through the first few episodes. I only decided to follow through with the show by the end of episode 4, but that was solely bc of Hwan Ki. I was still prepared to bail if Ro Woon kept up the aggressive pushiness. I really am curious how they will save this show though.

Why am I hoping they change the lead girl...sorry I'm bad.

Maybe I'm an outsider, but I like all the episodes so far, I like the chemistry with the cast.

was looking forward to this drama but have been strugling to finish each episode..only been able to watch until episode 2..looking forward to the changes..i guess what really makes tvn such a great chanel is that they take viewers opinion seriously

I'm glad theyre addressing the audiences issues - because dagnammit I just cannot stand the main lead. But I wonder how much the show is going to give me whiplash if they have chosen to completely change the course of the show. Even though I'm not a massive fan, I've gotten used to the plot and whatnot. Just wondering how they are going to come back from that :/

I definitely agree with the complaints. I was expecting a sweet, zany comedy and the revenge bit to be something kind of silly like a misunderstanding from high school. Instead there's an extremely aggressive heroine and a dark mystery/revenge revolving around the CEO's douchecanoe friend. Not what was advertised.

Sidenote: Why does everything have to have a deep, dark twist? Give me a cute, meaningful story!

Good on them for taking the feedback constructively and being so upfront about it. I've been frustrated with this show since episode 1 because it has so much potential but PHS's character just isn't realistic.

I liked her in AoY and I don't even find her annoying like most people have commented - what bothers me most is her irrational behaviour (openly snooping around in the penthouse, being downright rude to the boss) and how she failed to realise 'delivery boy' and CEO are the same person when she's seen 'both' dressed in exactly the same outfit?! And how did someone like her with zero comms experience get hired by a top PR company? There are just wayyy so many plotholes with her involved for me to fully concentrate and enjoy the show.

I really want to love this show so praying to the drama gods they managed to salvage the show - fighting!

Park Hye Soo really facing a very strong criticisms because of her role and her performance, i feel bad for her but the truth hurts. She is not a leading material yet, whoever forcing her or is it herself want to do it, i hope they learnt their lesson. Never ever push the actor to become a lead when he/she is not ready.

I think it is half-half, combination of the writing of her character and her performance turn out to be the bad result.

I hope whetever they decided will make the show becomes better. I am not really hating the drama and leading girl's role, and actually I am looking forward to see the complexity of this drama. I will stay to see how this drama goes. For those who want the leading girl to be replaced, i dont think it is a wise idea. Especially the show already started,and this is the lead character we are talking about. Maybe many of us will be grateful if it really happen, but we will never know if the replacement will be better. Rather than replace the lead, maybe it will be better to stop the drama and start anew. Is this situation has ever occurred in the past? i cannot recall if any.

Wow, am surprised much by this. Guess as one of the few who is okay with Ro-woon & Park Hye-su, I didn't realize there's that much negativity to actually force the hands of the producer. I suppose it is better this way than have the show cut later on, but still, it makes me sad that what we'll watch won't be the "original" show...

Kudos to the team for taking on the feedback in good faith and working on it. I liked the overall story, so hopefully they can make the dynamics a lot more believable.

Several people have mentioned in previous threads that they were shipping the CEO with his timid secretary instead, and I feel like the possibility and chemistry is there. Right from the radish dish he tried to cook. d=

But while a part of me feel interested for the story to go that way, I'm hesitant to support something like that completely because it would major suck to be cast as lead then chucked aside so publicly. I guess the polite/generous thing to do in this case is to re-write Ro-woon more favourably?

So they want to re write the plot? that's just crazy. it means they will re-film the scene that has already filmed?

I feel for the cast and crew. As if the life shoot system isn't brutal enough, now they're gonna re-do episodes. I don't quite see how they didn't realize the lead female character wasn't sympathetic at all. I know this can work but not when the male character is written as painfully introverted. I also think people expected a splashy rom/com with not such a dark undertone. Usually not a fan to catering to the audience...but, well, I kind of get it this time.

Il dropped this show at episode 2. The heroine is so annoying, more specifically : her behaviour. So so off putting

I love MND and OHY...and I'm watching this for Yeon Woo-jin. But while watching this, i imagine other actresses in the lead female role espec those who have more experiences and should have lead role by now.

I actually really like this show. :( It's the only one I am watching together with SLD. I hope they are only going to get better and not rewriting what I like about the show.
Is kind of depressing when you like a show that the majority seems to find boring or just bad.
I also don't really have anything against the female lead...I can see what people have against her but I didn't really have much of a problem if her pushiness...
I don't know, I am just hoping for the best, hopefully they won't cut the number of episodes at least.

I have to admit that I'm kind of torn about this.

On the one hand, as an unsatisfied viewer myself, I feel really pleased and vindicated to see that they've maturely acknowledged all the criticisms about the show (though I honestly don't understand how they didn't notice these frankly glaring problems during the initial script writing/reading process).

On the other hand, even if they rewrite the rest of the drama to be jaw-droppingly awesome, I feel like not knowing how the original script would've gone is always going to bug me. Like, I'm gonna keep wondering, is this part a rewrite? Is that part in the original? Etc. It feels kind of like playing with the show's canon.

Honestly, I feel like it would've been better if they'd just quietly rewritten the script without announcing it and just left us viewers none the wiser to the difference. Knowing that there will be changes is just gonna make me wonder what those changes are, and question what's from the original script and what isn't. And it feels like that's going to bug me while watching the rest of the drama, whether the eps are rewritten well or not.

On one hand I'm sorry I don't get new episodes this week because I was sure they'd fix the heroine, but on the other hand I'm glad they are making some serious changes if that wasn't the case in the original script (only they know for sure but it certainly looks that way, so YAY for changes).

I hope the cast get the chance to shine, especially our main hero. If they tone down Ro-woon's behavior, make her more sympathetic and respectful of personal boundaries, then audiences may forgive her initial behavior. If they bolster supporting roles and give us a great ensamble helping the boss, then I'd be a really happy viewer. Even if they make the heroine cheer on a romance of her boss with some other character, I'd be all for it.

I stopped watching at episode 2 but I'm curious on how they well transition to the new changes. Clearly one of the biggest issue here is Ro-woon's attitude and a sudden change will just be as off putting.

Very wise move n i applaud the transparency. Although some dramas dont pull in big numbers but they hsve lukewarm to favorable feedback. Introverted boss had overwhelming negative responses since it premiered.. so much that i havnt started watchin. I hope they make the chracters more likable.. you need that something to care for them n root for their romance.

I tried to watch it and gave up halfway. It was awful. Let's see what they can do.

I wonder if the Marriage Not Dating connection (both writer and PD) is part of the cause of the problem.

In MND the female lead was sometimes aggressive and over-the-top -- remember her smashing something -- but they pulled it off there and they probably thought they could do it again. Whoops.

I watched the first ep and was struggling to finish it. I didnt watch anymore after that. I thought to myself that the female lead's trait is so repulsive, and him liking her as The One is beyond my comprehension. I can imagine different ending though. The boss realizing fact vs fantasy regarding the former opera actress he had been admiring for years, and decided that he would be better off without her. What happen to her then? Jail, ofcourse. With such trait, I wonder how she's not behind bars. Come on. Assault, breaking and entering, going through ppl's stuff, speeding perhaps...

They could have just written an outgoing candy heroine which the hero becomes fascinated with without making her obnoxious. The office setup is so out of touch with reality. I don't care how outspoken you are, the boss still demands some form of respect. They also don't need to be so outrageous. Just walking on eggshells around him is funny enough.

Well ... A good move for the production team but a little too late for me. Many new shows premiering n my plate are almost full n I've dropped this show at episode 2. I don't have a lot of time to catch up on it n be hopeful for it to improve unless the other shows on my plates start to go downhill. Haha. We have new shows premiering this week too (wow we are spoilt for choice) n I'm looking forward to Tomorrow With You instead.

It'd better be good. If not, not only they waste time and money repairing something that couldn't be mend, they'd also sacrifice the actors and staffs hard work in vain. I pray for my love of Yeon Woo Jin that this step could bring better result.

Honestly, I'm not annoyed by the actress so much. The character and how her act, stupid unplanned revenge, and so on that bugs me the most.

I have said it before and will say it once more, poorly written characters need seasoned actresses or else Another Miss Oh wouldn't work. Pretty and Average Oh Hae Young were both massively flawed characters and tgey worked because of the actors playing them. Same goes for Joo Jang Mi and Gong Gi Tae, bith were flawed beings that grew in our hearts. Roo Won is the same but here the actress is not bringing anything extra to the table. So I applaud them changing the writing, this show could benefit greatly from that.

Of course they couldn't just write an outgoing, sociable and energetic heroine, they just had to make her obnoxious, rowdy and rude. Korean drama writers just love the opposites attract concept, but more often than not, they absolutely need to have the traits dialed up to eleven to the point the characters feel more like caricatures than real people. Similarly, the hero can't just simply be an introvert, better load onto him some severe social anxiety for full dramatic effect. The drama turned out to be exactly what I expected after reading the premise. Some restraint and nuance could have really gone a long way.
