Oh Snap! One big happy family for the Man Living in Our House

Well, this cast is looking pretty cozy in their new promo posters, rather than full of suspicion over the intruder/usurper living in the family house, but I guess Su Ae (Mask) will have plenty of time to get friendly with Kim Young-kwang (D-Day) as they live together and she tries to figure out what happened to make him her new stepfather, and what to do about that.

Lee Soo-hyuk (Lucky Romance) takes on yet another second lead role playing the other love interest, while Jo Boa (Monster) plays the rival. The Man Living in Our House will premiere on Monday, October 24, on KBS.

Is it photoshop or is her skin much lighter than usual? She was literally the only young actress in Kdrama that had more tan/brown skin.

More importantly, I hope her health is 100% restored after her recent health crisis. I noticed she lost a lot of weight too :( I'm rooting for the supporting casts to get their own dramas someday.

You mean when she was the lead in Surplus Princess? It was a good show but the ratings were so bad it got cut. It was on TVN and dropped from a 0.8 to about a 0.5 at the end.

She did really well on Monster. I'd call that successful career repair. Second lead on this show is a good move.

Also! She recently was in New York state somewhere just flitting around (and then later in New York city proper). I follow her on Instagram and it was pretty surprising to see photos of suburbia and then later she took some pix at a bakery and tagged the actual location in NYC.

Wow, I didn't even recognize her from Surplus Princess. She looks so different.

That was a cable drama though. It's like how Yoo Inna doesn't get lead roles in public broadcast. Not to mention how poorly received Surplus Princess was.

Amazing how LSH looks like he's either photobombing or been photoshopped into every pic. ?

Mukadil doesn't photobomb pictures. Everyone else is photobombing his post Kko Kko protection photoshoot.

Haha. Made the mistake of reading this before seeing the photos. Looking closely it's clear why he looks out of place. Different face expression, and overdressed in a burgundy suit while everyone else is all smiles and casually dressed. he's clearly cut out to be the third wheel, poor guy.

I noticed that before I even read your comment lol. He looks out of place in every picture. They all look like buds and he just looks like he looks he begrudgingly took pictures with them. It must be his facial expressions plus the fact that he's overdressed.

Is it really impossible to find a male lead to pair with actresses in their 30s that does not look like their kid brother? Seeing Su Ae next to Kim Young-kwang she looks more likely to scold him for not doing his homework than to make out with him...

Large age gaps seem to be the trend…I'm hoping it die down soon..le sigh

It's not so much the age gap per se that annoys me. It's more the fact that a lot of the young flower boys chosen to romance older actresses look so young that I personally find it hard to believe the heroine would ever fall for them. This very often ruins my ability to believe the love story.

Anyway, I see that it is a deliberate part of the story that the hero here is meant to look young so maybe it will work in this case.

I think that's part of the concept?

Though I'm not familiar with Su Ae( except for Athena movie), she looks quite young and doesn't stand out as older. In fact, they all look fresh and relaxed... well Lee Soo Hyuk is internally cursing them for running his shoot!

Not that I think the two actors match, but the casting of a younger guy is acording to the plot. He's supposed to be younger, I guess it will be played for comedy that him as her new stepfather is obviously younger than her. In this case it would not work the same way with a more mature guy in the role.

I'm glad they are sticking to the webtoon thus time. Still mad that Lucky Romance took out the noona part of the webtoon. They casted the perfect age difference but in story made HJE 24 *sigh

Give me my noona romances!

I guess image is important for actors after all, I don't like Kim Young-kwang's real life public persona and while I differentiate between reality and fiction I find it hard seeing him as a worthy leading man on screen. It doessn't help that his acting leaves to be desired. But it seems like it could be a funny drama so I'll leave prejudices aside and give it a chance.

WTH. Lee Soo Hyuk was like "Hey dude let one of those girls rest her head to my shoulder too" and Kim Young Kwang was all like "No way dude. No way" with smirk.

Wow, I forgot KJH isn't even a second lead. Look at LSH just modeling for the camera, it loves him! Anyway, hope this is good. Since it's based on a we took, hopefully it doesn't get too draggy.

I'm not sure if the Webtoon writer is involved in the writing process but the main writer also did Flower Boy Next Door which I heard good things about.

Kim Young Kuang looks very good and manly when he doesn't smile or laugh too widely. Looks a bit like Ju Jihoon, from certain angles.

Am I the only one who is actually excited about this drama!? I don't understand why it is getting no love? This is a weird premise that I am excited to watch.

I mean people are saying that the lead actress is too old and the guy too young? Come on really? Let's watch the acting shall we and let that be the judge. Then there is hate for the lead male? From what I gathered in the comments, he said some pretty messed up things. Hopefully he has learned that beauty is in the eye of beholder and that to judge people on their outer appearance is stupid. But, I think everyone needs that lesson. Once again let's watch his acting because hey he is an actor.

I am also excited about the drama. Pray that the rating will be good.
If talking about the age difference, we also have Lee boyoung and Lee Jong Sok (IHYV), Lee min Ho and Jeon jihyun (legend of the blue sea). The age difference between these pairs is also about the same as Soo ae and Kim Young Kwang. Physically, when I watch the teasers, they look good. Anyway, this is 21st century. Who cares so much about age difference?

People complaint from East to West, North to South about the male lead. Just accept the reality already hahah in the end, you'll still watch it ? so just relax and enjoy. It's not like you'll die because of the male lead.
Everyone should write their own drama, direct, and cast their own favorite actors ?
