Main foursome finalized for Kim Sun-ah’s Woman of Dignity

The four main leads for upcoming Woman of Dignity have been finalized, but a network and time slot have yet to be secured. The production team is currently in talks with SBS to broadcast in the latter half of 2017. This new drama captures the story of the slow rise to success of an ajumma who was betrayed by her husband and thrown out by her chaebol father-in-law.
Kim Hee-sun (Angry Mom) is set to star as the homemaker who has hit rock bottom. Originally, she was an airline flight attendant with a legendary beautiful face and figure. She meets Shim Hyung-tak’s (Five Children) character, who is a handsome second-generation chaebol. They fall in love, and she immediately quits her job to become a full-time housewife. However, this Cinderella story doesn’t end with happily-ever-after. On the outside, he acts like a wonderful husband, but secretly he’s an incurable playboy who is having a passionate love affair with their daughter’s art teacher.
Kim Sun-ah (Masked Prosecutor) has been confirmed to play a determined woman with country-bumpkin origins who elevates herself to fit in with high society through the sheer force of her will. But the backstory of Lee Ki-woo’s (Memory) character may be the most interesting. Due to a devastating car accident, he lies in a vegetative coma until he miraculously wakes up one day. After a grueling rehabilitation process, he eventually becomes a lawyer who listens to the cries of the unjustly accused. Will he become a daddy-long-legs to the woefully wronged Kim Hee-sun? Goodness knows he definitely has the legs for it.
The 100 percent pre-produced Woman of Dignity plans to hold its first script reading later in September and start filming next month.

He really does have those long legs though. This seems like its going to be a lot of fun i am all for 2nd leads getting their own girl/guy in the end, i am an advocate of coffee prince love squares.

Are there two female leads? Kim Hee-Sun and Kim Sun- Ah. I prefer Kim Sun-Ah. I like both men. I hope it will be good.

Glad there is more pre-produced dramas. With this casting, I'm sure the acting will be decent. The only problem lies in the script. The scriptwriter is Baek Mi Kyeong with her only past drama project being My Beloved Eun-Dong, which I felt was lukewarm. She also has another project called Powerful Woman Do Bong Soon courting Park Bo Young to star, which by the way, is there any news on that?
BMK seems like a writer that gives off a warm-tone kind of writing.

Lee Jin-wook in thetimeweweremiserablyinlove started it. I don't hate it though, they usually are elegant and well behaving professionals in dramas, unlike doctors.

Dear Dramabeans,
Has there been an open forum thread lately? I can't seem to recall. Just saw this American show Better Late Than Never, which really strongly reminds me of Na PD's Grandpa's Over Flowers. Wondering if there was news as far as calling it an "adaptation" or if it is just a coincidence, and hoping for a forum for discussion.

Maybe multiple leads, because I will not be happy if her character is put to the side. They have two solid female veteran actresses. Write a script that is worthy of their abilities and I will not complain.

Wait, so who will be paired up with kim sun ah? They need to cast another lead guy asap (whispers Cha Seung Won). Lol, could you imagine if they husband was cheating with kim sun ah character? I'd honesty love to see her play the witch, but i miss her in lead so maybe not now.

I had waited for this drama so long but still waiting, so when is this drama actual on air? Love both ladies in this drama especially Kim Hee Sun. Her beauty really impressed me. Love to see her in modern shows.
