The skill becomes number one. Many producers have give great comments regarding junyeol acting. Even reply 88 PD said himself, his acting is most interesting than others. Public loves him so much. He has larger fanbase tho, even tho he UGLY.

I read all your comments so I have some things that I really want to tell you.

First of all RJY's role in a Reply serie has nothing to do with luck. He was in Reply serie because his acting was good enough to convince the writer and PD of that drama that out of the all the people that auditioned for that role (for the record KGP and AHJ that acted in the same drama with him said "every actor in South Korea auditioned for Reply 1988") he was the perfect one to act as JH and they were absolutely right: RYJ was perfect as JH and his acting made the character a memorable one.

Second he is not a nobody that just acted in a Reply serie. RYJ acted in some movies prior the drama and everyone that saw his act in that movies was amazed and in love with his talent. Not only common fans, there are many articles of people that works in the movies industry that admire him: actors, directors and reporters.
So you see, you only watched a Reply serie and you wrongly believe that RYJ's fame is only because of Reply 1988 when in truth Reply 1988 only made him more famous out of Korea in a very short time but he already started his rise to stardom before the drama. But I'm glad he did Reply 1988 because thanks to the drama his rise to stardom was faster.
Last, don't think that you got so many replies because he is everyone baby in Dramabeans ( even if this article is dedicated to RJY and HJE so many of his fans that loves him are here because they want to know more about his new drama, don't know why you're here if you hate him), you got so many replies because you were rude.
You're free to think and say what you want but with respect and calling someone ugly is not respectful.

I've seen both So Hyuk and Jun Yeol's drama.
IMHO, RJY is the better actor.

We have dozens pretty boys in k-drama land. Sometimes they bore me, because there's no depth to their acting. Good on the surface only.

So I don't mind the so called ugly actors if they can deliver great acting.
RJY just has something special in the way he act that it just pull you in. He is a natural. Very much deserving to be a main lead.

honestly Ryu is p good looking, he just doesnt compare to the more glammed up usual young guys in the k-ent biz. he looks more like an above average joe. but that's kinda his appeal imo? cuz there's plenty of hot model actors now like soo hyuk (altho i do find SH to be very gorgeous, and distinctive looking but no question he LOOKS like a guy who used to be a model lol) but yeah honestly if Ryu did the usual plastic surgery esp getting his eyes "fixed" then yeah he'd prob meet the standard more. i hope he never changes tho. it sucks so many people call him ugly because of it.

MCW face became more rounder with her short haircut.I like her more in her long wavy hair,short cut doesn't suit her face shape,unlike HJE who has an elongated face shape that's perfect for this type of cut.I hope MCW will not cut her hair this short again,Im not used to seeing her beautiful face looking like an ajumma.

She's an actress. She gets paid to pretend. It wouldn't be very smart of her to marry a man that didn't support her work. I don't really understand this line of thinking. It's like mixing fantasy with reality. The reality is there's nothing sexy about filming even a bed scene. There are dozens of people less 3 ft away from you watching and telling you how to tilt your head, where to put your hands and directing your every move. I'm fairly certain that if a couple of actors start liking each other on the film set it has very little to do with what's going on between them in front of the camera.
