Oh Snap! Rain joins growing list of actors wearing same questionable shirt

Now we can add Rain to the list of actors photographed wearing the very same Louis Vuitton shirt we’ve seen Lee Byung-heon in, as well as Song Joong-ki, the last being slightly more significant since both are featured in upcoming May spreads. Although, in all fairness, Rain is the only one who went all-in and wore the matching shorts.
Having recently finished comeback drama Come Back, Ajusshi (because She’s So Lovable doesn’t count), the star has yet to announce his next project, though it’s still pretty soon for that. I guess I just already miss him being on my screen, though—despite Ajusshi’s low ratings, Rain was incredibly charming in it, and there should be no dearth of offers for him to act in future projects. Perhaps a sageuk? I promise, that’s not just the sageuk-lover and Rain-lover in me talking. (It totally is. Make it happen, dramaland!)

Oh dear... The shirt is fine, but... those shorts... Makes it look like PJs lol.
While I find the fashion choices here quite questionable, I actually find Rain way more handsome than SJK. *prepares firefighter shield for protection* I guess I just prefer guys who aren't too boy-ish?

I was going to say that SJK doesn't pose very well when I saw the other set of photos, but people were going on about how beautiful he looked in those. Err...
Anyways, I don't think Rain is, well, more handsome. I think he's a much better model though. And personally, both of them are not really my definition of hot so...

Poses and facial expressions are two different things, but yes, it is pretty much the same face for all four.
I think SJK's pictures looked more like a photoshoot of an actor though (which of course it is, so nothing negative about that), while Rain's look more like they could be pictures of a model (well, except for the facial expressions. But I've seen lots of models who can't use their face properly in shoots, so...).

IMO having the same expression for all 4 pictures (yes, I noticed) is better than having extremely awkward expressions for 2 pictures (the cover and the pillow). Those two were just weird-looking.

Haha agreed! That pillow picture made me laugh so hard, it had the weirdest vibe and the pose cut off his body in an odd way. It has to do with the photographer too though. He should've directed him better...

Perhaps he should get some pointers for photoshoot poses from Ryu Jun Yeol? Ryu can change his looks TOTALLY - see him in his two Marie Claire photo spreads, Beanpole,and the most recent one, from Harper's Bazaar China. Not to mention the bike series of ads!
His facial expressions make each shot explode! He can be cute, cold, suave, lovelorn, street-smart, anything! No wonder the Marie Claire director once said his facial expressions can tell so many stories. (I love the James Dean look in one of the Harper's Bazaar China shoot....)

Nice to know I'm not alone. The only SJK I liked was the second one, the photographer had a really interesting idea with that one.
Objectively speaking they're probably equally handsome, but subjectively I prefer Rain. Neither of them make me go into complete fangirl mode though lol. And yeah, he definitely knows how to pose better than SJK, but he's also more of a model-build than him, so that of course helps.

Agree about the hair i was going to write the same, this hair style is the best looking for him, I hated the bangs (i hate that trend on all the actors)

Agree 1000% about bangs. I just don't like them on hot actors. I totally ignored and overlooked Kim Soo Hyun in My Love From Another Star because I didn't think he looked handsome at all - but then I caught him in Dream High and discovered what an amazing actor he is - and cute. Rain does NOT look good in bangs. That beautiful exotic face needs to be fully seen.

The Louis Vuitton is something I would expect Key from Shinee to model, it's that kind of vibe to me. The "jumpsuit" does really look like the jumpsuits VIXX wore onstage during their late 2015 comeback. That really looks good on Rain!

I think. I first saw this LV shirt months ago, zayn ex 1D wore it on Paris Fashion Week. I didnt like it back then, I dont like it now .. I dont even know why this shirt is a trend now.. I guess fashion isnt my forte :)

All of these clothes are terrible, but not really. I don't hate pinstripes. The "most offensive" shirt would be passable with a solid pair of shorts. It's just the styling is ugly. What's with the "Heff" robe and alligator shoes? I mean come on, I'm surprised they didn't give him a "porn stash". This is an incredible ugly photo shoot on a very charming man. Rain looks very thin in these photos. He's been in a drama recently so of course he's thin. They all get ripped down for dramas. Obviously Rain thinks his right side looks best.

I agree w/you that the clothes are a problem. The LV outfit is just plain silly. Who ever chose the clothes needs to re-think their career. Maybe he did this shoot as a favor? I think RAIN looks un-enthused in all but the pinstripe shot. I think this is the only outfit he likes.
Those are some hardcore shoes on a guy wearing a silk robe, or smoking jacket. His expression in the last shot looks like "I'm so over this". Maybe he's really tired; just woke from, or really needs, a nap?

Oh @HeadsNo2 - we really WERE separated at birth! I don't know you loved Rain too! He was my first serious star crush...love his work ethic right along with his talent and that BODEEEEEEE! Holy crap, that body. Such a great actor too and I'm so relieved to see how well he has recovered after the hot mess of My Loveable Girl. I would love to see him in a Sageuk. We need him in righteous he-man costumes and roles like Lee Min Ho in Faith. Great hair, armor, horses, lots of smoldering and saving...RAWR!

omg, who styled and directed this photo shoot??? all the pictures have something off about it. why did they try to ruin Rain's hotness? lol.
#1 - just all of it. shirt is bad, shorts are bad, pose is weird.
#2 - ok except the matching pants and shirt. pick one and use something to contrast please. he looks like he's wearing a jumpsuit but not in a good way.
#3 - asian version of hugh hefner? 0.o
#4 - unflattering pose and those horrible sandals. shudders.
Not dissing Rain. Just the director/photographer who suggested these poses and the stylist who made him wear those clothes.
