Yoo Ah-in cameos on Descended From the Sun

Aw, I love that Song Joong-ki is enlisting old friends and co-stars for cameo spots in his new drama (Descended From the Sun). The show hardly needs the extra star power given the roaring start it got this week, but who’s gonna turn down more Yoo Ah-in? Not me, that’s for sure.
Song Joong-ki’s bestie Lee Kwang-soo had a short appearance in the drama’s premiere episode this Wednesday, and it’s been confirmed that Yoo Ah-in will appear in a later scene; a rep with the drama said only that it will be in “the latter half of the drama,” and that Yoo filmed it in December.
I suppose the guest spot isn’t purely because of Song Joong-ki, since Yoo Ah-in and leading lady Song Hye-gyo belong to the same agency, and that is probably a bigger factor than having co-starred in a drama years ago where they played loyal friends (2010’s Sungkyunkwan Scandal). But shh! Don’t intrude on my bromancey fantasies!
(Purely guessing here, but I’m guessing it’ll be very late into the show, since this drama is produced fully in advance and December was pretty recent. Perhaps a final episode surprise?)
Descended From the Sun has aired two of its 16 episodes and airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

She is a very well respected KD writer, and won the Baeksang Award in writing for Secret Garden, which dominated the 47th Baeksang Awards.

Aww.. I love him + SJK hehehe.. Another pre-produced drama that attract me so much after Cheese.. I hope DOTS doesn't make a huge mess like cheese.. Not expecting so high, only hoping for clear characterization of the leads and story telling.. Waiting patiently... :)

oh my god what the hell why does this drama has to be this much goood i mean its SOOO goooooood i cant even ... ufff i'm head over heels in love with this drama ..... its still 4 days away and i'm waiting desperatelyy i'm afraid i can't watch the episodes as they fall on my exam datess sooo i'm dramabeans.... Well since it is Song Joong Ki staring together in a drama might be a big deal. Recently he sent a food truck to Signal cast and crew, because his relation to the directors from his previous drama and movie.

Depending on if they were filming chronologically, I'd say latter half to end for sure. I really like his real life friendship with SHK more than the onscreen bromance in a drama years ago. YAI and SHK's pics together are so adorbs.

It was reported last October that Yoo Ah In had sent a food truck decorated with Song Hyegyo pictures to the Descendants of the Sun filming set.....
Many were disappointed that Yoo Ah In did not make any reference to Song Joong Ki then...

Actually Yoo Ah In referred to SJK quite often in his interview. Last year during Sado promotion, he said he had a drink with SJK after SJK was dispatched from the army and asked his advice about military service. Also, SJK went to YAI's studio Concrete exhibition and bought the painting. SJK posed with that painting & YAI's friends.

Yay! I enjoyed Lee Kwang Soo's cameo. And just watched Yoo Ah In in Like for Likes. A departure from his hefty roles in Veteran, Sado. A nice change for him, but the other to movies were more interesting. Looking forward to his cameo. I hope DOTS stays being as good as it's first two episodes. You never know with kdramas ...

I haven't started watching this one yet because I only watch one drama at a time and Cheese is still airing (yep, I'm seeing it through until the end, even though the last few episodes and this whole mess crushed most of my love for the show)
But yay for Yoo Ah-in cameo! Maybe I'll just watch that part if I don't pick up the drama, haha.
