Name That Drama: Fake robbers and Dad sales

We’re doing a bunch of short questions today! Can you name these dramas from these brief scene descriptions? As always, feel free to email us your questions and requests for future Name That Drama installments.

LoveLaughLatte is trying to find a drama or possibly movie:

There was a young girl who got a job at a tattoo parlor or hair salon and there were vampires owned a wine bar. There was also an evil lady who always overpowered the lead male to drink blood.

Wani’s movie question sounds distinctive enough that there’s a good chance you’d remember if you saw it:

A bank is in a robbery. But all the tellers in the bank befriend the robber, even karaoke together in the bank, but when police try to get in the bank they all act like they are terrified by the robber. The ending shows a woman watching a huge TV show with a cartoon in an island and the robber shows up.
Jess’s movie question sounds like a weepie — anyone know for sure?

It was about a young boy who visited this little girl every day who was in a small hospital. She was in a coma for a long time. One day, she wakes up, they end up being married. She only had a very short time before ending up in a coma again. He had high hopes and hoped she’d come back, but never did.
Miko asks:

I’m not sure if this is a movie or a drama, but I’m leaning more towards movie. Anyways, all I can remember is that there’s this auction in a class and some girl sells her dad. If you could help, that would be great!
Jacinta’s got a few good details in her question. Anyone know this drama?

In the scene there was a woman (the main character) driving a truck that had some sort of powder or paint tins inside. Somehow the tins got knocked onto the male lead. They both started fighting and both ended up with paint or powder all over them. They ended up going to a hotel to clean up. I then remember the women putting up a duct tape curtain to cover the shower. At one point the curtain falls down or something like that. If anyone remembers it would be daebak!
And I’m thinking Pandoraxbox’s drama may not be Korean, but you guys are the experts at this game!

There’s this drama about a girl who works in a restaurant which is bought by this young guy who wants to change the style of this restaurant. She keeps calling him “Bambi.” I stopped watching it when he kisses her drunk and (after throwing up!), now I want to give it a second chance… Please help!

I couldn't think of the name, but I knew it was fairly recent TW drama as well.

I only lasted that first episode with the shower curtain scene. That scene was so contrived, as was pretty much the whole first episodes.

The first few episodes were a bit too contrived and cheesy bit still watchable. Then things suddenly went downhill with the arrival of a batsh*t crazy second female lead and her crazy family. The ending was evening more bizarre. I would recommend skipping it, though Aaron Yan really did try his best to save a sinking ship. The drama was (oddly enough) quite popular xD

Yeah, it was one of those that changed genre half way through. I loved the rom-com half, barely finished Melo half with tons of skipping around.

Well, the initial premise did take a lot of Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne disbelief to get through. But after that it was enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the first third of Fall in Love w Both of Me. I tried to complete, but even the recappers thought it was beyond silly. I totally agree with Incognitolris... Aaron Yan was hot!

The first half was bearable, I think. Since I mostly only remember fast forwarding to the Aaron scenes, I cant be a good judge of that. :P
But i do remember comparing the screaming second lead to a screeching psychotic monkey. Its sad, cuz otherwise shes a pretty woman. Le Sigh.

i really suggest you consider dropping it. the drama's first few episodes were tolerable, although it was such a mess, but the latter episodes were complete crap.

if you do watch it, you'll end up fast-forwarding and you'll still get the gist of it. and then you'll want to tear your hair out for actually going through it.

Is No. 6 the Jdrama Oishii Proposal? I watched it hoping for a Japanese version of Pasta (which it wasn't) but found it fairly watchable.

#4 is probably "Dad For Rent"

A little girl lends out her dad during show-and-tell or an auction at school and different people end up "borrowing" her dad. It stars Kim Sang-Kyung (as the dad), and I know for sure that Minah (from Girl's Day) also appears in the film.

I also have a request about a drama.

The only scene I remember is that a girl is crying in a dressing room wearing either a white dress or maybe her wedding dress. A guy sees her wearing the dress and is captivated and purchases it for her without her realising it until the sales attendant tells her.

This is "Freeze" starring Lee Seo-jin (who I was just writing about on another post) and Park Han-byul. I've got it on DVD. It's 5 episodes on 3 DVDs (with interviews & behind the scenes), and is really good!
