Jung Woong-in reprises serial killer role in Pinocchio cameo

HA. These are the kinds of cameos that I love — I Hear Your Voice alum Jung Woong-in (Endless Love) stopped by the set of Pinocchio to shoot a cameo appearance as none other than Min Joon-gook, his scary serial killer character who terrorized Lee Jong-seok and Lee Bo-young on I Hear Your Voice. The writer and director requested the special appearance, and Jung Woong-in happily agreed to reprise the role that arguably made him a household name (yunno, in a terrified, Please don’t kill me, OMG way).
The producers are known for their inter-drama cameos, and featured one from Kim Min-jong in I Hear Your Voice, where he played his lawyer character from A Gentleman’s Dignity. I just like that this writer is a drama fan, and that she has fun making fictional universes collide.
Min Joon-gook will appear in Episode 2 of Pinocchio, in an imaginary dream sequence where Park Shin-hye imagines herself in a courtroom. There she’ll meet Min Joon-gook dressed in very familiar prison clothes, awaiting trial. I’m a little sad that the reunion isn’t also with Lee Jong-seok, but maybe that would’ve actually been too many points of collision for the crossover to work. A Min Joon-gook nightmare sounds like the worst thing ever, but on the upside if it’s just a dream, he won’t be killing anyone in this drama… right?
The drama’s reunionfest includes I Hear Your Voice’s Lee Jong-seok, Best Mom Ever Kim Hae-sook, and silly judge Kim Kwang-kyu, and Gap-dong’s Jung In-ki. Hopefully Jung Woong-in’s visit to the set is only the first of many more star cameos to come. What, are Kim Soo-hyun and Yoon Sang-hyun busy or something?
Pinocchio premieres November 12.

NOOOOOOO. And by that I mean YES! But NOOOOOO, here come the nightmares again. I'm so terrified of this guy. I don't care how many times I see him smiling at an awards show or in out-takes. He's literally the scariest person ever. The new He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Yep, luckily I saw OB before IHYV so I'm not so scared of him as an actor. OB is seriously one of my favorite dramas ever and I have a lot of good will for him from that role :)

Yeah seen the scene yesterday in the long preview,she imagines she is the public defender and our crzy killer with already his iconinc killer screem goes a her..and is also a pun if i'm not imagining it with Dal Po when they make it like he can hear voices jajja

I think maybe I will only watch his cut only for this drama.
By the way, Yoon Sang Hyun new movie will be release next month. Maybe he will be busy with movie promotion.
Kim Hae Sook also will be make cameo. I think she got no new drama for autumn/winter season this year. Better get some rest omma. You're working hard since early this year with so many dramas.

So Obviously we can't have a Lee Bo Young Cameo cause that would just make wish a better actress was in this part for Pinocchio, but I feel it's only right that Yoon Sang Hyun stops by so him and Lee Jeon Suk can be reunited yet again.
Perhaps this time YSH is pining for LJS so as to complete the love-line symmetry from Secret Garden and IHYV. Just throwing out ideas writers..

You know.... I always wondered, why can't there be a shared Dramaverse. You kinda like what Marvel is doing with their Cinematic universe. Have characters cross over from another show. The Hong Sisters kinda had a shared universe.

oh yes best idea ever! imagine a drama where mind-reader Lee Jong Seok team up with superpower alien Kim Soo Hyun (plus the entire Bad Guys crew if possible) to fight against evil.

Wow that Oska the Hallyu Star role was just so memorable, every time I see YJS I can't help but feel he'll suddenly throw a host fit and start bragging about him being the Hallyu star. Oska had so much charisma and sass, YJS nailed that role.

Just watched him in KBS Drama special "Amore Mio", he's so sweet and lovable there, he breaks my heart with his steady-unselfish way of loving the woman and her baby daughter, he made me weep so hard in the end.
I don't think he could ever make me shiver nor scare with his cold-killer act at all, even he's so good in portraying it. I simply love him since OB, and add Amore Mio on top, I become a big fan of this man.

did you really WATCH I Hear Your Voice? you can´t NOT feel shivers, he is so creepy-ass there that I turned on all the lights and crawled under the blanket.
weird to think I am now arguing in favor of creepy when I was so seriously repulsed and wanted to scream at the time.

This drama may need all the help it can get with Mr Baek already starting it run at 14% rating right off the bat, and isnt the upcoming Face Reader also in the same Wednesday-Thursday slot? though on theme really only Mr B would be a fair rival I guess. Right now both Iron Man and She's So Lovable are barley moving the ratings arrow in Korea
