I have been a Joowonie fan since "Baker king Kim Tak Gu"...I was drooling over his villainous character all the way lol...

He has evolved so much as an actor over all these years..did some of my fav dramas to date.. like Gaksitaaaaaaal and Ojakgyo brothers...LOVE HIM! ♡

Is it just me or does Shim Eun-kyung really resemble Ueno Juri quite a bit?

I hope this drama won't be too heavy on the romance, I liked that the jdrama focused on the characters more without the usual compulsory tropes of jealous second lead or noble idiocy, and kept the romance part mostly low-key and believably developed. The most swoonworthy romantic part in the entire drama for me was probably Kiyora dropping honorifics and calling Mine by his first name but since there is no Kiyora here it'll have to be something else.

Somehow I was hoping for more, since he was the funniest character (for me) in the Jdrama.

But this teaser sets the mood closer to the Jdrama.

I wasn't sure if I was going to watch this or not, but now, I know I will! Not familiar with the original manga or anime, but this looks so fun and cute! Can't wait!

I don't know anything about the jdrama or anime but I was already sold when I saw Joo-won was in it. Watching the teasers I'm even more excited, love funny and quirky kdramas.

I'm feeling a bit more optimistic about the remake with this teaser. I was gonna check it out anyway, but this one hints at them having included the fun. I hope they keep the fun and wacky and a smaller focus on the romance (no scheming second leads and angsty noble idiocy over wht the original provides please).

One thing though... I still keep seeing Joo Woon as Kang To/Gaksital a bit. Maybe caus eI haven't really seen him as anything else, except as puppy on 1n2d (I never even started the drama that shall not be named)

I loved the original especially the unbelieveable union of Tamaki Hiroshi and Ueno Juri, but they proved to have so much chemistry than an exploding volcano. I loved the two teasers here, and I too hope that they could go a bit further than a backhug. Kisses happened in the specials and the movies, so I'm expecting lots of kisses. I was reluctant about Mine (Eita) at first thinking he's going to be a despicable second lead (too much kdrama watching?), but when I saw that only Saiko and Masumi (lol) was going to be a problem, I cared less. I love Masumi though. He's my favorite character after the hot conductor- with the electric hair and everything. Haha. And who could forget adorable Sakura- the walking contrabass? That said, I love Gaksitaaaaal so much and Joo Won is one of my favorite actors. We were born on the same day too! I'm gonna watch this coz I love Nodame Cantabile, Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung is adorable. Fighting!

only one complain...WHY ISN'T STRASSMAN'S CHARACTER A "WHITE" GUY? lmao...it was hilarious how a Japanese actor dressed up as a white guy in the dorama and we were suppose to pretend that he is actually white instead of Asian hahaha

I loved the jdrama and I'm curious about the k-version. It seems they're going to keep the craziness to some extend, but...will they fit in their world? Because when I watched the jdrama I thought nothing of their behaviour, but in kdramas rooms and spaces look always so clean and wide and proper. I can't explain the filling, but I can't see people in the Korean version looking at Neil and not having disapproving thoughts.
