Im currently watching this and the plot moves so slow, that i found myself fastforwarding a lot of the scenes. I also have a hard time liking the Kim Hani.. I usually root for the main hero, but her character is so annoying and dumb at times that im like: "ughhhhhh grow up!".

But i still want to watch it, since i wanna know the ending lol. Plus its an easy watch, i just hope they wrap it up nicely

I actually enjoying watching this show. Sad news for me. :(

WHAT?! I'm really watching this show. I'm waiting for its episode every week! It's actually the only show that's left on my current batch which i havent dropped! Well, the 1 episode per week alone is already hard for the viewers, it is also slow paced too. maybe that's why many lost interest. But, huhuhu the show is picking up pace because the other love line is building but I hate this! :'((((((((

i just hope they do something with the ending. a 4 episode cut is too much for a 1-episode per week drama -_____-

Well, ratings don't lie: When half the viewers leave the ship, that means the Show can't keep them... I actually thought it was supposed to be 16 eps. They really cut at the last minute though. With so little time left, the writer will pull his/her hair to write something satisfying that makes sense. Oh well, Song Jae Rim: Please next time pick a good project so I could watch you.

I know it's silly, i know people are upset cos one is not the real male lead, on top of that the girl is self centred creature but i love everything about the show.. her housemates, the parodies, everything (maybe not the Witch or those meanies) imma missed its silliness fun for real..

I hope it ends with a splash!!!!

I liked the pervert mermaid, she was like Mary with a tail. Finally we got a heroine who was not a Candy and then the show gets cut? T___T

Well this is sad. I had no expectations when it aired and was charmed by the very errr overt silliness that it had. It doesn't have the same kick it started with (e.g. the outrageous parodies and music cues) but I was still enjoying it. I'm glad its not 16 but ouch--now it will definitely end in sad bubbles. Well it was nice while it lasted. Glad it introduced me to Oh Joo-wan who has such an adorable smile. As for everyone else I just love how game they were for all the madness, esp. SJR--funniest pimping of male love interest ever. And though the mermaid is dim, Jo Boa played her with aplomb. Also I was warming to Kim Seul-gi and Big's romance-sad to see it cut short. Anyway, Kudos to the cast: onward and upward!

This drama is nowhere near a resolution. Two more episodes and one was already filmed? WTH! 12 episodes who have made more sense. He'll, I'll take 11. The side stories will suffer the most. Boss lady and Witch Ahn? Gone. Big and noona? Maybe a quick get together without any build up. And how is our heroine going to realize that her crush is actually not the best man for her? This is going to suck.

This is the only drama I'm watching this season, and I love it to pieces. I'm so upset.
I loved the fish out of water elements, the relatable dilemma of tedious jobhunting, the adorable makeshift family of the surplus house, the supportive friendship between hani and hyeyoung, the gradual attraction between hyeyoung and big, the hilarious parodies and references, the craziness of the mermaid world, the absolute foodies that are shikyung and hani and so much more.
Sigh, this show really deserved better. It should have been a two ep a week format.

That's terrible. I can't even see how they could have wrapped everything up in 14 episodes, let alone 10. Things got started with everyone developing/exploring their feelings and they haven't even gotten jobs yet!

This is really disappointing. I didn't expect this from TvN. I mean, yeah, the show's kind of ridiculous and meandering but it's fun and the characters are so cute and endearing and when it's funny, it's hilarious. Ugh, this is a blow. But at least it introduced me to a lot of good actors.

NO I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS!!!! The pacing will be accelerated to the point of ridiculousness to fit any emotional and plot development into only TWO more episodes -there'll be no time for the fluffy filler scenes which are one of my fave parts, not to mention we've only just had Ha Ni's mermaid identity discovered!!!!!! Too bad the TVN ratings don't include the popularity shows like this get abroad/on Viki as well as in Korea itself... -_-

i just watched episode 8 and whaaaaat is this. i don't know how they're going to wrap up everything in 2 episodes?? this is so sad. the drama's a little silly but im loving my weekly dose of kim seulgi, song jae rim and on joo wan who i only knew thru this drama and i'm already liking. it also has given me good laughs (that crayon pop guy killed me). now i'm only left with my melodramas :'(

Wtfffffffff this is terrible news :( our heroine has so much growth left to do as do our hero's not to mention she's got to fall in love with the lead in record time now, I didn't even know it was only 14 eps that seems like a bit of a squeeze but now it's only 10 that's absolutely ridiculous.

Even though this drama is great,the writing is a bit messy & the plot is very slow when it could've been in a great pace. I just wish the ending is a good one because it was a slow drama

Yes, the pace has been a bit slow - they've spent a lot of time on the jobhunting aspects, and could have kicked off the romance factor sooner, to hold the audience.

It had some really unique stuff - really loved Hye-young's food porn sessions and that ladykiller, takoyaki cook and man of many talents, Ahn Manyeo! Wait, why am I talking like it's already over?

Have there ever been any instances of them re-extending a show once they've announced they're cutting its run time? I agree, 12 episodes would be perfect. Pretty please?

The real question is this:

Apparently it is fun to watch with plenty of heart (I've not seen it so I don't know, and now I am scared to watch because it could all end abruptly without closure then I would be screwed if I've invested myself in this drama).

If it is fun to watch with plenty of heart, then, why aren't people watching it? INR3 topped 2% at one point, and certainly others have broken the 1% barrier.

Just curious as to why other people aren't watching...

Add much as I like this drama, I do agree with them cutting it short..... Let's be real there really hasn't been any progress much in the story and I think it could be wrapped up nicely in 2eps if the writer knows what she's doing.......

I don't understand the reason for cutting 4 episodes off.... I mean come on! There are people who really likes this drama. If the slip from 0.84% - 0.54% is the problem then I really feel sad towards the broadcasters.... If they don't consider the feelings of 0.54% people then I don't think they can handle the pressure of crossing the 1%. Loyalty matters. Viewers matters. Even if it is only 0.1%.

I actually really enjoyed this drama! I know people are calling it silly but thats not a bad thing! I loved the light heartedness of it. It's actually on of the only dramas I've been watching lately. For some reason I'm being really put of by the the drama's this end of summer/beginning of fall. It's starting to get a little better, since I'm enjoying Secret Door. But the uber dramatic romance drama's like Secret Hotel and even kind of Discovery of Romance have really been boring me.

But I've been in love with this drama and Hi! School Love On. They're light and breezy and I've been digging it.

Too bad. I really love and enjoy to watch this drama.
