Park Ha-sun in the mix to join Yoochun in Three Days

Oh, I like this (potential) pairing: On the heels of Yoochun’s casting as the hero of action drama Three Days, the name being floated as the possible leading lady is Park Ha-sun. (He’s confirmed for the drama, she is still considering.)
The plot unfolds after the president disappears from his vacation house amidst the sound of gunshots; Yoochun is the Blue House bodyguard who leads the charge in tracking him down. The role Park Ha-sun is considering is of a local police officer, and she’d be tapping into her tough side to play the part. Which is great, because as good as Park is with gentle roles (see: Dong Yi), I love her so much more being forceful and strong, perhaps because it runs so counter to her appearance. But she can erupt into a ball of energy with the best of them, whether as a fierce competitor or a tone-deaf bellower of songs or righteously furious defender of rights.
Granted, this project does seem rather similar to the drama Park just finished, Two Weeks, which was the action-thriller where each episode marked a day on the run for the hero-fugitive. The comparison is probably inevitable, given the formats and the condensed time-frames and the titles, though I don’t actually think the two dramas will be too similar in story. If Two Weeks was an underdog story about one man evading the law against all odds, Three Days takes a different angle by following our elite agent and a cast of law enforcement to nab a criminal. Not really that similar in structure… though maybe a name change might not be such a bad idea?
Three Days is planning to premiere in February 2014.

She is really a superb actress.... Before Watching two weeks I admit I really underestimated her, thinking she is just another eye candy...
But Boy I was wrong.... She makes In Hye so Much more interesting and her vulnerable scene is awsome without being too overboard..
In fact, she was better performer than Kim So Yeon and Jung Ki

Lee Jun Ki did so well for all difficult action stunts and emotional scenes in 2 weeks, even it was live-shooting. He's so perfect♥
If compare to his performance with hers, phs is just in the ok state.

All.. Okay.. I know action is scene is very difficult... I understand
But there is a time I felt Lee Jun Ki is not into his character at all... And didn't understand his own char at times
or his acting is abit lacking in some scene.
Don't get me wrong i love lee jung ki...
But he is not as awsome as Park Ha sun in two weeks.. In two weeks. Park Ha Sun, invest, always in character, and give so much depth

Firstly, why is there a need to compare Park Ha Sun's acting to Kim So Yeon's and Lee Jun Ki's? And worst, take the opportunity to bash him in an article which is totally unrelated to him?
This article is about Park Ha Sun's role in 3 Days, so talk about PHS as much as you like. Lee Jun Ki's acting skills or lack thereof is totally irrelevant here.

Okay^^ It's no matter how fanatics or antis view to actors' acting. In all dramas this year, I think two weeks is winning in the descriptions at the acting corner of Lee Jun Ki by bloggers. I knew it since i like to read reviews of popular dramas or those I like from many blogs wherever i see them.
As we all know bloggers usually have different taste and opinion, they all have same opinion with LJK's excellent acting and love much to JTS character as well ;)
Not only his action scenes are difficult, the emotions he did for Jang Taesan role are the hardest to create among other roles in two weeks.
But he is amazing, could do all these perfectly. This is the most precious parental love in a project, very memorable and it's also far different from other lead father characters & love shown in other k-dramas.
His emotional scenes as a parent are more realistic and believable than other characters' ones in melodramas related to man-woman love.
I'm not sure you watched 2W, the main characters who actually made bond with the views are Tae-san and his little cutie Soojin. They're so pleasant to see, and their great acting deliver the unique heartwarming and delightful moments which will be almost never find again as a father-daughter main duo...

And even when she did similar Two Weeks, her role will be totally different here....

As previously discussed on Dramabeans, Park Ha Sun will next do a series called '20 Hours', based on an actress breaking down under the strain of endless night-shoots on a TV drama, followed by '4 Minutes', which will be a romance between a cable entertainment hostess trying to get a recordable interview from an eccentric and moody actor. The follow-up to that will be '20 Seconds', in which she will play a politician trying to express her views in sound bites so the network anchors--one of them her ex-husband who still loves her--will give her airtime on their evening broadcasts.

It seems like she's the go to girl for male oriented dramas... someone on K's playground was saying that Kim Nam Gil was chosen to be Lee Bang Won, which made me think that PHS would be PERFECT as Queen Won Kyung.

The amazing Han Suk Kyu is being considered for the role according to some articles. I love him to pieces and he is one of my fav K actor but I don't like it. I love him as King Sejong, I don't want to see him play his father too. Its still fresh in my head I guess.
Song Il Gook played Jumong then 2yrs later he played Jumong's grandson in Kingdom of the Wind. I didn't enjoy it at all. I kept seeing him as Jumong lol.

It's call "Pachunhwang" aka “Unprecedented”...more title changes coming lol. It is about King Taejong (3rd king of Joseon). This project is by the writers of QSD and Tree With Deep Roots.
TWDR was about the Great King Sejong and this will be about his father.

I liked her in Two Weeks (though more in the present-day stuff than flashbacks - she didn't seem that natural in those) but I agree, she seems to be better suited to sageuks.

ok I think I realise we have different opinion towards best acting criteria..
But Lee Jun Ki at times is not in char at all.. there is a times he is abit bland, or his acting abit too hammy .... And felt I couldn't connect for his line delivery in two weeks...

Came here for others' opinions of phs in 3 days cos i love her in 2 weeks. Though i love her in flashbacks with Tae-san, i knew she couldn't deliver her acting well esp. in crying scenes while other lead actors fit their roles so well.
No doubt, Lee Jun Ki is really an awesome actor.
It's sure who accept him like this is not only me^^ From reading both overseas bloggers' reviews and the translated articles of korean reporters, they all agreed and LJK receives a lot of compliments. All overseas blogger's reviews are the same, full with the praise of LJK's perfect portrayal of JTS while there were a lot who not satisfy much with phs acting among all 2W actors.
It's funny to see some viewers who try to troll the real great artists...

I actually enjoyed watching her in 2 weeks and Unstoppable High Kick. I hope she does this drama and she actually is a natural in acting.
Can't compare her among her contemporaries but I hope to see her in more good projects in the future :)

she's good in Dong Yi, High Kick & Two Weeks.. but i'm not so sure if she should do this type of drama again since she just finish Two Weeks.. i think she should try Rom-Com or go back to historical (like Dong Yi).. i think she'll be great on those but i would still be okay if she accepted this though..

Do you think Park yoo chun can deliver with those vigorous action pack like what jang hyuk and lee dae hae did ?.

Man, I love Park Ha Sun. I think she has this super cool aura even though she does look like the sweet, innocent type. She is fun to watch and she does have a fiery side.
I guess this will have a love-line, then? Hmm, if so I hope it's an already developed one (before the timeline of the show) otherwise it would be quite a stretch in three days. On the other hand, there might still be a possibility of it not happening so I will wait and see. Either way, it sounds fun and I will look forward to it and to more info!

really, everyone has different taste and preference, not all of his fans would say he's a great actors since he still has so much to learn, but we all agree that yoochun improved a lot.
more than any other idol-actors, if not, there's no way the directors and PDs all try to cast him just because...what? his fans? don't be kidding me, there're many other idols or actors ala Lee minho who's also popular overseas,with gigantic fangirls too. and I don't think these PD and directors willing to cast an exiled idol-actors who can't even promote himself on TV freely. don't forget JYJ is still blacklisted on TV, it's a disadvantage for them to use him. but they still do ^^

Regardless of whether or not this drama is similar to Two Weeks, as long as the writing is good I think she'll do a great job! I really liked her in Two Weeks (or maybe her character? lol) and I can't wait to see more from her. In reality, I have more a problem with Yoochun taking on this role (he's not someone I must watch) than with Park Ha Sun.

I'll definitely check it out now. I really like this lady. She has talent and she picks interesting roles. It's frankly a shame she hasn't gotten more chances and praise so far, because she is skilled and visually pleasing. Considering the worship over "actresses" like Kim Tae Hee and the like, you'd think someone who has both looks and skills would gain more recognition. So yes, please. I'm in.

I thought she did great in Ad Genius which wasn't a very good drama. All the characters were pretty stock and generic with nothing that hasn't been seen before. There is only so much you can do with characters like those, I feel. A shame since it could have been really good. I would recommend you watch something else of hers if you haven't, yet!

"Dong yi" was very uneven in the acting dept. but PHS shone as her role as Queen In-hyeon.
And she is one of the few actresses where she looks good with the Joseon hairstyle.

I have only seen her in Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek, and I'm not sure if it's her character in the drama or her acting that bored me. Have yet to watch Two Weeks, but I kind of have mixed feelings about her acting.
