Han Chae-young is certainly beautiful. And I've also liked her in two of the roles I've seen her play in.

So far, I'm only liking the second leads in this drama so I might not watch it.

I haven't actually seen anything with Han Chae-Young but for some reason I agree with you JB that there's an awkwardness to her elegance that doesn't quite translate perfectly.
Looking forward to who will be cast as the main female lead! (But dayum doesn't that writer have some impressive movies under his/her belt .-.)

I love Han Chae-young! I know she's not the greatest actress but she just holds a special place in my heart. I've seen a lot of her work. I agree, she is very pretty and has been typecast especially in the past few years (since she got married actually), but her acting is better suited for more down-to-earth characters (like her drama roles 2005-2010).

And OMG, I did not know she was pregnant before! Congratulations for her and her family. ^__^

Apparently Jung So Min was approached for the role and was reviewing it, but there have been no further news on that. Oh Ha Ni was a similar role, so I hope she doesn't pick this one in fear of getting typecasted.

That and I ain't gonna buy "average" because she is quite pretty.

really? she's not lead again? come on, I thought she was an A-lister, why does she keep getting 2nd lead ever since she got married? I really like her in chunhyang, she should be the lead, she could totally make it as average, just like in chunhyang.

In the manhwa, isn't her character more like Dokkgo Mate's handler (with a grudge against the chaebol family that she was once married into) who pushes him to get secrets from successful women? I'm not sure that she's a second lead so much as an important character in her own right.

I plan to check this one out. I really love Jang Geun Seok, and find him appealing in a sort of quirky way. I loved how his character in You're Beautiful was such a brooding a-hole, but when he smiled, you could hear angel choirs sing. He has the ability to absolutely transform before your eyes. I love that in an actor. I agree they shouldn't allow his character to conform to JGS's apparent personal hair style preference---ie., hot mess.

It'll be interesting seeing whom they cast as his leading lady. I like Han Chae Young in everything I've seen of her work so far. Hope she'll be able to bring her bundle of joy on-set.
