Master’s Sun: Episode 15

It feels like a mini-finale of sorts, resolving one of our long-running mysteries and affording our characters some closure. I like that we get to put the necklace-kidnapping-twins plot behind us now, because while it served its purpose in moving us along, it’s also nice to get that lesser conflict out of the way before we hit finale week—when you leave everything till the last minute, often things don’t feel adequately gratifying because we’re rushing to hit all the points. I’m crossing my fingers that this means next week we’ll get to devote ourselves fully to the main couple. And you know, if they run out of material, I wouldn’t say no to some fanservice makeout sessions, you know. Just sayin’.

EPISODE 15 RECAP

Joong-won stops Gong-shil from throwing her necklace away, telling her that she’s supposed to be a wreck without him since he’s a unique and special person to her. Gong-shil keeps her stern face on and says that she’d only be mildly disappointed without him, not heartbroken to death, and that she’d been about to toss the necklace. Joong-won bristles—he’d been hustling his ass to find the missing pieces, and she’s just going to throw that away?

She carelessly hands him the necklace and tells him to do whatever he wants with it. So he calls her bluff, threatening to throw it over the railing… while Gong-shil looks stricken… and HE looks stricken… gah don’t play chicken with your hearts!

Then he fakes sudden back pain and doubles over. Oh, I LOVE HIM. Always pretending he doesn’t care and then giving her one more chance, just one more chance…

Gong-shil rushes to check on him as he exaggerates his injury and slings his arm around her, taking thorough advantage of the excuse. She offers to call help, and he argues that she should take care of him since she’s the reason for the injruy. Off they go, with him faking cries of pain the whole way, lol.

Joong-won insists that she drive him home, then places a hand on her shoulder with the excuse that it’s to ward ghosts away. Aw, and then he brushes her hair with his finger when she’s not looking.

Back at the hotel party, Aunt apologizes to Hanna for Joong-won’s sudden departure. Uncle plays the imp and emphasizes Joong-won’s connection to Gong-shil (love him being the sly saboteur), which offers Hanna the surprising tidbit that Gong-shil was the reason Joong-won got injured.

And finally, we get clarification on the twins’ identities and motives in a flashback, where the twins are conveniently color-coded as Good and Evil: the now-dead girl in white, and the Hanna we know in black. But curiously (unless you’ve anticipated this twist, and a lot of you have), the Good Twin calls the Bad Twin Hee-joo… which means that somewhere along the way, these names got swapped.

Good Twin (Hanna) tells Bad Twin (Hee-joo, who is now Hanna) that she wants to come clean about her real identity to Joong-won. Ah, Good Twin gave him the wrong name when they met, so he thinks he loves Hee-joo. Now Bad Twin is in the picture with that name, and she seems to enjoy his misdirected love. Bitch!

Secretary Kim explains to Kang Woo how Good Hanna grew up in England, while Bad Hee-joo grew up in a Korean orphanage. Before he had the chance to meet the lost sister, Hanna returned to England and told him that Hee-joo died. That’s when he noticed she was different, and they fell out of touch shortly thereafter.

Kang Woo supposes that Bad Hanna (er, the real Hee-joo) is the co-kidnapper, and cautions Secretary Kim about revealing his blood ties to Joong-won. It’s quite possible that he’d misunderstand and think he had ulterior motives all these years.

Gong-shil helps Joong-won home, then tries to leave. He shoves her in a chair and bolts up to grab drinks, no longer pretending to be hurt. She comments on it, and he points out that they both knew why he was doing it and yet she came with him anyway. Well he has a point.

Joong-won sits her down to clarify where they stand, understanding that she must have gotten scared off by his near-death. He tells her not to feel too guilty because he bears blame for rushing headlong into the situation, and will be careful in the future. He admits that when he’d anticipated that they’d end things at some point he’d wanted to keep one foot out the door. However, after confronting death, “I knew for certain—I don’t want to end things with you. I won’t end things. Stay with me. I’ll handle everything.”

Aww. Total reversal of the relationship burden, given how it was previously up to her to make sure she could handle it. I love how proud he is of finding this very satisfactory solution, and that all she has to do is accept.

Gong-shil pops his balloon by saying that she won’t just fall for him that easily—she’s not terrified of ghosts anymore, so she doesn’t need an emergency shelter, and therefore he’s lost his appeal. Ha. She compares it to liking a man for his money, only to have him lose it all. Double HA.

Flustered, he tells her he’ll take a good hard look in the mirror to find some new appeal about himself (aw), after which he’ll come to her for renegotiations. Hearing that he’s got no appeal is a serious blow to his ego, and his hand literally shakes.

His fix: Joong-won returns to the matchmaker to make his proposal to buy out Gong-shil’s contract, threatening her with bodily harm if she reneges.

Then he shows up at her door that night as she’s heading out for graveyard patrol and tells her that he managed her contract. Huh, so that’s the end of that? So easily? He’s awfully pleased with himself and tells her he doesn’t need her thanks—she can just add a few points to his appeal-o-meter. Pwahaha.

She doesn’t react with the big display of emotion he’d love to see, and he says wryly that it would be nice to hear some better words like devotion, sacrifice, love. She scoffs that that kind of poetry exists only in fairy tales, and that it’s nice to read about the wolf and goat wanting to be together in the book—but it wouldn’t work in the real world. Plus hers was a dark fairy tale, where one person dies and visits the other as a ghost, so she got scared and came back to her world. So he should leave and head back too.

Joong-won complains that she’s told him to get lost three times today, and that’s before they’re interrupted by a grandma ghost who arrives to ask Gong-shil for help. He indignantly tells her to pay attention to their conversation, and I love the look on his face. It’s so whiny and Listen to meeeee! But she heads out to deal with the problem, leaving him sputtering, “Now you’ve told me to get lost four times! I’m counting!”

He does, of course, tag along as she talks with the ghost. I love that he wants her to be scared so she’ll cling, but she barks that she’s quite fine. He also fidgets to be left out of her conversation, wanting to know what they’re talking about, seething when Gong-shil laughs with grandma and points at him, “He really is, isn’t he?” He huffs, “I know you’re insulting me! I can tell!”

They arrive to find the ghost’s son sprawled in the street, drunk. It’s not the first time Gong-shil has come to a scene like this, and she rouses him by pretending to emcee a singing contest—the drunkard pops up and starts singing on cue. She sends him home and he complies readily.

Today they were lucky that the man woke up in a good mood and obeyed, but Gong-shil says that he could have been dangerous—what if he threatened them with a weapon? Was Joong-won intending to jump in to save her again? That’s why she’s decided to stop dragging him into her affairs, because it’s more dangerous when they’re together—he can’t see and hear the things she can.

Offering his hand, Joong-won says she could hold him and stop seeing and hearing those things. She replies that she can’t live her life clinging to him, because she has a life of her own. And that finally rings true for him, as he realizes she meant it when she said she was going to live without him.

Gong-shil says that she really did bewitch him with her persistent clinging. “I’m sorry,” she says tearily, “There’s absolutely no reason for you to stick with me.”

He concedes that her words make sense, and yet he can’t understand them. With hurt feelings, he heads off before she can tell him to get lost for a fifth time tonight.

Coffee Boy appears to inform Gong-shil that somebody wants to meet her. So they head to the coffee shop, where a nervous Chun-hee greets her familiarly and asks, “Gong-shil-ah, do you know who I am?”

She nods—she saw him in a dream. But he tells her it was no ordinary dream, because for the entire time she’d been asleep, she was with him. When she’d been lost in the woods, her spirit had come to him and led him to find her body. So her ghost remained outside of her body for three years, which they spent together. Aw, that’s so sad. I mean, I guess it’s great for Chun-hee that his beloved is alive after all, but he was in love with a ghost for three years.

Chun-hee (okay, his name is Jin-woo, but c’mon it’s Chun-hee!) slides over a photo book—she was with him when he shot all the locations in it. He asks her to revisit those places with him to bring back those memories.

Secretary Kim goes to see Bad Hanna (aka Real Hee-joo), and now that he recognizes her, she calls him Uncle. It’s sad because you can hear the hope in his voice as he asks what happened between the sisters, and whether she has anything to do with that accident. He wants to believe the best, even as everything points to a less happy answer.

Joong-won lights up to see Secretary Kim back at work, just bursting at the seams to talk to somebody. His enthusiasm is adorable, but Secretary Kim has his news to break too, and informs him of his relation to the girls.

They confront Hanna with the photos and postcards, but she’s had a lot of time to think out her story. Asked whether she’s been following Joong-won all these years, she says it was really her uncle she’d kept tabs on. He would write her regularly to check in on her, and she didn’t want to lose contact with her only blood relative.

She acts shocked that her sister would have orchestrated the kidnapping, but acknowledges that Hee-joo always was a little dark and ambitious. Secretary Kim confirms that Hanna would have no motive for going after his money, because her adoptive family in England was exceedingly wealthy on their own.

To explain how she first heard knew about Joong-won, we get a flashback from her point of view: Once again color-coded, the sisters watch Joong-won in a library as he reads. Hee-joo (dressed in black) is the one who points him out to Hanna as the boy she has liked since childhood, because Joong-won would come to her orphanage every Christmas “like a prince.”

Present-day Hanna explains that since Hee-joo never had the courage to show her feelings, Hanna encouraged her to be bolder. She explains her recent interest in Joong-won as arising out of curiosity toward the man her sister loved, and she had thought he returned the interest. To the contrary, Joong-won calls her a fake, though he will accept her words as truth if only because Secretary Kim vouches for her.

Secretary Kim is awash in guilt for not telling Joong-won about his niece, and explains that he’d initially sought him out because he wanted to find out about the dead Hee-joo. However, once he saw how hurt and damaged Joong-won was, he decided to stay and look after him. He offers to quit if Joong-won no longer wants him around, and Joong-won agrees to let him go. Ahhh! They clearly don’t really want him to go, but I suppose it makes sense.

Gong-shil hears the details from Kang Woo, and when she crosses paths with Secretary Kim and Hanna, she assures him that she doesn’t assume the worst of him. After all, she can see Hee-joo, so she knows the truth. Hanna asks if that’s really true, her smug look fading when Gong-shil answers that Hee-joo said she was here to “protect her co-conspirator.”

Everyone’s circling around to the idea of Hanna being the criminal, and Kang Woo urges Joong-won to find proof before Hanna skips the country. But despite being positive Hanna is guilty, Joong-won isn’t driven to take her down—which he can’t without evidence anyway—because he’s found out everything he wanted to know. If Kang Woo is so insistent on getting the full story, he can investigate behind his back. Kang Woo takes him up on that.

Gong-shil finds Joong-won in a down mood, not wanting to think about Hee-joo anymore. In the brief time he was dead, he saw her and recovered his ability to read—thus he no longer hates her and wants to move on.

Gong-shil’s point is that he still doesn’t understand Hee-joo’s motivation for acting as she did, but just then the ghost of Hee-joo (Good Hanna) materializes and shakes her head sadly to keep Gong-shil from pressing. He tells Gong-shil, “Don’t see dead people anymore” and touches her shoulder, making the ghost disappear.

Gong-shil agrees that she doesn’t want to force him to understand the things she sees. She’d wanted to solve this one case for him, but her radar is no longer needed. He says insistently that the more she tries to understand the ghosts, the less she needs him. Aw.

“But you’ve become more comfortable,” she points out. “The less use we are to each other, the easier our lives will become.”

Kang Woo puts in his resignation at work, then hears from Yi-ryung that she’s going to the States after all. She asks for a last meal together, picking a simple snack place that he rents out for her sake. He suggests that they treat their relationship like high schoolers who went on a couple of dates and parted ways—light and fleeting. The minute he steps aside, Yi-ryung furtively spikes the cola with soju, muttering that she’s no high schooler, haha.

It’s not until the soda’s gone and he’s droopy-eyed that she tells him about spiking the drinks, and asks why he doesn’t like her—doesn’t he think she’s pretty? He says that she is, but he has somebody else he wants to protect, “Even if she doesn’t know I’m protecting her.” He sighs that he’s all prepared to help if she’d only call out for him, but she doesn’t. So he just hopes she’ll become safe so that he can leave his guard post.

Gong-shil tells her unni about the man who can see ghosts who wants to take her abroad to revisit those locations in his photos. Her sister supposes that it’ll be nice to be with someone who understands her situation, but on the other hand, can she leave behind the man she loves to go with Chun-hee?

Gong-shil says she can’t stay with someone who sees and hears things that he doesn’t want to know about—they won’t be able to be comfortable.

She packs her things and gets ready to leave, only to be confronted with Hee-joo’s ghost. Er, Hanna’s. This is getting confusing. Good Hanna appears to make a plea to use her body again, and Gong-shil again refuses. But Good Hanna is desperate today and apologizes as she zooms into the body anyway. Can she possess her like that? Did the soul take?

Joong-won heads to the airport to intercept Bad Hanna before she skips the country. He hadn’t wanted to hurt Secretary Kim or take it to the police, so he’s here with a third option: Settle everything here, now. He holds out his hand and asks for the necklace and her exit, in that order.

When she mentions Gong-shil’s name, he snaps at her not to involve her in this, and Bad Hanna says that he must have forgotten all about Hee-joo. He makes the barb that although they were twins, he never once looked at her with interest.

Hanna’s face hardens, and she offers up the full truth: that the girl he loved wasn’t Hee-joo but Hanna. She tells the story in the third person, of how Good Hanna had seen her sister pining after Joong-won and approached him to get the ball rolling, only those two fell in love. Hanna was the girl who had everything, and she ended up with Joong-won too—stealing him away from dark, unhappy Hee-joo. Thus the whole plan was conceived out of Hee-joo’s anger.

Joong-won protests that it was a conspiracy between both sisters, but (Bad) Hanna says that Hee-joo did everything on her own. “Think back and remember,” she tells him, “that girl you liked. One of the two died—you saw it with your own eyes. Which girl do you suppose died?”

Narrowing his eyes, he asks if she’s really Hee-joo. She answers, “I’m the nice Hanna. The one who died was the bad Hee-joo. That’s what you’ve known for the past fifteen years, that the dead girl was the bitch. If the one who died was the nice one, it’s too tragic.”

In a flashback, we see the aftermath of the car crash. Good Hanna is injured in the passenger’s seat while masked Hee-joo staggers out and reveals her face to her sister, who’s shocked at the discovery—so it really was all her own design. “Cha Hee-joo dies here,” she tells Hanna, threatening to kill Joong-won if her sister doesn’t go along with it. Yeeesh. She’s actually worse than we’d thought.

(Current) Hanna claims to be the real Hanna, who’d returned to claim Joong-won’s heart only to find some other woman worming her way next to him. Joong-won doesn’t buy it, calling her a fake, and asks if it’s true that the girl died because of him. She says yes.

As Bad Hanna walks away, someone calls to her, “Cha Hee-joo.” It’s Gong-shil, but it only takes a few key phrases to convince Bad Hanna that it’s her sister in that body.

She’s shocked, naturally, but Good Hanna makes an attractive proposal: Let’s go together. Bad Hanna can keep the life she hijacked, and Good Hanna will keep the body she stole from Gong-shil. Wonder Evil Twin powers activate!

Bad Hanna likes the idea, especially as it will keep Gong-shil away from Joong-won, and she reaaaaally hated seeing them together. She liked hearing about Joong-won being struck with the Cha Hee-joo Curse, and this way she’ll get to strike one last time by taking away Gong-shil.

Good Hanna asks Bad Hanna why she told Joong-won everything instead of just leaving—did she want to purposely torment him? Bad Hanna answers that she thought she could have him back if she returned as Hanna, except he’d seen her for a fake.

Joong-won wrestles with these new revelations, and finally recalls Gong-shil’s words urging him not to run from things that scare him. He gets up to confront his fears and spies the two ladies in conversation, beelining for Gong-shil… and gets shoved aside at the last minute by Kang Woo. Shh! Kang Woo motions toward the recorder in his hand… and the mic on Gong-shil’s shirt. Ah! This is a trap!

So Gong-shil isn’t possessed after all, and now we can see her steering the conversation to an admission of Hanna stealing her sister’s identity and saying, “I’m the real Hee-joo.” With that evidence on tape, Gong-shil says that the dead Hanna had been acting out of “sacrifice, devotion, and love” (using Joong-won’s words)—and that Bad Hanna hadn’t realized it.

Hanna realizes she’s been tricked and hisses that there’s no evidence of anything. But that’s when her uncle storms up with a small figurine that she left at her sister’s memorial vault. He drops the figurine and it shatters, revealing the diamond necklace hidden inside.

And wouldn’t you know, she’s arrestable after all, because she was hasty enough to return with a few days left before the statute of limitations expired. Poor Secretary Kim, who promises to stick with Hee-joo through this.

Joong-won looks shell-shocked by everything, and Gong-shil takes him aside to say that the dead Hanna has a few last words to say. The next thing we know, it’s Good Hanna standing there—presumably possessing Gong-shil—and when we circle around it’s teenaged Joong-won facing her.

Hanna hopes that she’ll no longer be a source of pain for him, while Joong-won apologizes for hating her without knowing the truth. Hanna raises a hand to touch his face, and I guess the universe is feeling kind today because it allows them to stay touching for an extended moment before she dissipates into the air.

Joong-won and Gong-shil are left behind to watch the aura disappear, and he congratulates her on a job well done. He offers to treat her out, but she tells him she’s leaving on a trip with a man with the same ability to see and hear things that she has. Poor Joong-won, who looks crushed.

She’s just glad she wasn’t a useless radar after all. She explains how when he’d been a ghost, he told her that she shined brightly like the sun. She supposes that’s her lot in life: “I just want to be a shining sun who’s popular with ghosts. But if I’m looking at you, I feel like I’m an unlucky sun who makes people die. That scares me and I hate it.”

She asks him to tell her to get lost again, and he says, “The reason I told you to get lost so freely all this time was because I knew you’d always come back to my side. I’ll do as you ask. Get lost, Taeyang.”

She heads back inside the airport, wiping at her tears, and Joong-won watches her growing smaller and smaller in the distance. He despairs, “If the sun leaves like this… it’ll destroy me.”

COMMENTS

I’ve never really loved the whole twins and kidnapping storyline, though for the most part I think it was used just enough to be relevant to our interests. Sure, we got more Hanna (the bad one) than was probably necessary (just how many meals did we have to see her having with Aunt and Uncle?), but for the way this storyline affected Joong-won, I’m satisfied with how it ended.

It’s a nicely bittersweet twist to have Joong-won realize that Hanna loved him all along and never betrayed him. I liked the earlier twist of revealing that Joong-won actually hated her (when everyone assumed he was unable to get over her), which makes this turn land even harder—he harbored a lot of unnecessary pain. So his first love was as sweet and true as he initially thought it, and maybe even deeper given that she chose to die rather than put him at risk. I wonder if this will make Joong-won more sympathetic to Gong-shil’s guilt-burden over bringing danger to his life, because the thing she fears is the thing that actually happened to him.

Hanna (the bad one) was a character I cared absolutely zero for—I didn’t even hate her because she was rather dull as a villain—so it’s interesting to see her given all this depth in the eleventh hour. I know the writing chose this route because of the way it wanted to drop its reveals, but I would have preferred to know more about the bitter sister envy earlier, because it gives Hanna dimension, whereas before I was just wondering what that evil girl’s deal was. She both loves and hates her sister, so I can see her feeling fondness while at the same time wanting to hurt her. It’s similar to the way she loves and hates Joong-won, and wants to simultaneously possess and destroy him. See, I would have preferred to go with that kind of twisty rationale, rather than the simplistic good-twin-versus-evil-twin dichotomy, as though one sister was lightness and purity, while the other was inherently bad.

I wasn’t sure of this late-game Chun-hee twist when he first showed up, but I like it better than the other storylines and think it raises some meaningful questions. It offers a great conundrum of being with someone comfortable from your world, versus being with someone from a different world whom you love but have to struggle to be with. The word that got used throughout this episode was “comfortable” or “easy”—she doesn’t mean that she needs Joong-won to sit back and relax without a care in the world, but that being together means that neither of them will ever be able to rest, to be at ease. It’s like living in a constant state of stress, which she doesn’t see as tenable. So being with Chun-hee would be the perfect situation, on paper, because he both understands her and loves her. If only for that whole complication where the heart is concerned.

i'm still teary everytime they send oft a ghost (well maybe not the groom's dead fiance cow she just pooof)

i was surprised to see Coffee Boy in colour. my first thought was they ran out of time for CGI but maybe there's a reason for it. Gong Shil's soul wandering and spent 3 years with Chun Hee reminds me of Marc Levy's If Only It Were True

As the show was developing TGS needed JJW but he didn't really start needing her until later on in the story. All this time TGS has been reacting, rather than acting with conscious thought.

He falls in love blahblahblah, he dies blahblahblah and she now has a moment to reclaim strength, integrity, dignity and other things that mean something to people in real life as well as in fiction. This is the time when her character can move beyond the Candy stereotype and become a whole human to the other people in the story.

I like that Jin Woo is a plausible last minute rival who could actually win an audience's approval for winning TGS' affection. It seems likely that the story line intended for two episodes will now stretch into three.

Wait wait, confused on something. Hanna (who we thought was Hee Joo before this episode), the one Jong Won, loved, was kidnapped also? And she didn't know that Bad Hee Joo (the real one) was the kidnapper? And the girl who talked to him was the kidnapper, though Jong Won thought it was his love right?

Loved this episode, and like the new guy.

One funny thing, I like how they kind of suddenly head for what looks like Incheon, when it takes 2 hours to get there lol.

My fav episode so far, besides episode 8. I really love SJS's acting. I mean, just look at his face-those are raw emotions dude! And GHJ...*sighhhhhh* I have already loved her since Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy.

Owh yeah, the last scene just made me cuss deep within. Nice job, Hong sisters (Seriously, nice job).

Thanks for the recap!
Looking at all the rants, I see that I'm not the only one who's not in love with this episode (or the show generally speaking). A lot of repetitions, a lot of gimmicks (soon, it's the ghosts who will practice the "get lost").
So much paraphrasing & repetitions to express a single idea: A scene which should take 1 min30 lasts 3 mins (convenient for the extension, that). As Elvis said, a little less conversation, a little more action please.
It's like this show loves to separate the OTP when in fact they never were together in the first place (I mean, a proper date). In those conditions, I don't feel the emotional connection, sorry.
With this episode, I take the 2 cute/comedic scenes and that's it. I don't think that the Hongs write stories that deep and for me this drama is showing off with the twins twist & the white knight conveniently arrived from outerspace. I'll reserve my brain juice for storytelling analysis with dramas made for that.
PS: Send me coffee ghost if he feels lonely. I've started to like him.

I was rather intrigued by the sisterly love-hate relationship but it came too late in the game for me to really care about. Also I was expecting something more exciting to happen with the evil Hee-joo the way she was put in the show, but apart from the fact that she killed her own sister she really didn't do anything. Was it even necessary for her to come visit Joong-won?

What really confused me more and kind of still sucks in my opinion is the way the show resolved the Joong-won memory loss/getting memory back from kinda-creepy-ghost-wedding-lady. It felt jarring to me as I spent the end of last and the beginning of this episode wondering if he really got his memories back or if it was a new kind of ploy of his (like his using Secretary Kim's cell phone) to get her to let something slip about their relationship that he doesn't remember, but the show kind of glossed over the process completely. And, is kinda-ceepy-ghost-wedding-lady evil or not? I can't decide.

I loved the mounting tension and sizzling chemistry between the two leads that had been building between them up until the amnesia came into the picture, because ever since then I feel like the show has lost its footing and never quite got it back. Which is a real shame. :(

Exactly my thoughts. I hope the drama won't end in a big disappointment. T_T

Man, Master's Sun should be a rom-com but I cry a lot. I cry a lot more for this drama compared to Gu Family Book!
(or maybe my emotion wasn't that stable when I watched Master's Sun).

For now, I'll just have to believe that they gonna end up with each other at one point or another. She definitely going to come back to him. Joong-won told her to get lost because he knew she would come back again. So, I'm going to take this as a hint of their relationship getting better again. It might take some time for things to get back to its usual pace since she's trying to figure things out with Jin-woo.

I'm still convince by the fact that Gong-sil is Joong-won's sun. Hence, I'm putting my faith on you, the Hong. And, I'm not going to tolerate any crappy reconciliation.
Rooftop Prince's ending was good, but it was not enough to satisfy me as a fan of the drama.
This time, I just want the ending to be clear and you know... funny. A rom-com that is.

Anyway, I still love this drama despite the heartbreaking last scene. I've gotta admit my feelings of shoving Joong-won's butt to go and chase Gong-sil.
Ugh. Whatever... At least, they know they love and care for each other.

I was pleased that they wrapped up the Hee Joo story. I suspected the twin switch earlier but the fact that Han Na still had the necklace after all these years confused me. My heart hurt for Secretary Kim. To have to share the truth with Joong Won about his nieces was heartbreaking.

I absolutely love uncle - he was going to add his two cents tonight despite his wife! In the early episodes I suspected he might have been involved in the kidnapping - so glad I was wrong. I just love this teddy bear man with the gorgeous smile!!!

Chun Hee is throwing off a kinda creepy vibe to me. I get the storyline which is sweet in a weird way, but taking off with someone you only remember from your dreams is a shade beyond crazy. Wellll, I may have to rethink that . . . if SJS showed up in my dream and wanted me to follow him - no questions asked - its a done deal!!

Meh. Just meh. One of the problems with such recent great episodes is that it's difficult to maintain the momentum, I guess.
So far, I've loved that, apart from the Hanna - Hee Joo angle, it's been fairly hard to predict what will happen next
But this episode just made me feel like they were checking off the list of issues to be resolved in the path from climax to finale. But I do like the way they've written out all of Joong-Won's protection and support, leaving him in a vulnerable position that mirrors TGS's at the beginning.

And I guess it bothers me that I don't sense any angst coming from TGS. It seems pretty cut and dried that she's moving on, or kind of like she's sleepwalking out of his life. I hope we don't have a Coffee Prince ending, where she goes away to Ghost-buster College for a few years, and comes back to interview for a job with him. Ditto Dal Ja's Spring.

Thanks for the recap Javabeans.

Unfortunately I found Gong Shil choosing the "comfortable" and "easy" over the guy who was ready to die for her very annoying. The story went exactly as I hoped it wouldn't and killed all the excitement I held for it. If this was a melodrama OK, but I don't watch melodramas often for that reason. I subscribe to the Shakespearean school of thought that says "All's well that ends well". A bad ending can ruin a very enjoyable overall experience for me and every time I look back I remember the bitter taste of that ending in my mouth. This applies not only to the whole of the drama but the individual episodes as well. After 3 episodes of angst and the possibility of a time jump (which I absolutely abhor) looming ahead that ending didn't sit well with me at all. Usually about this time every week I'd be dying to rewatch the new episodes subbed but this week I'm in no hurry and I have no curiosity, excitement or impatience for the next week's episodes. For me the best episode ends were Joong Won coming to the accident scene (episode 4), Joong Won confessing he is not unaffected by their physical proximity with Gong Shil's hand over his heart (episode 7) and his confession (episode 10). Those made me really excited and impatient for the coming episode. Some of the others were OK, some were blah but none was so disheartening as this (not even Joong Won's ghost!)

I actually think instead of rushing through what was supposed to be one of the main conflicts of the story in such a shabby way they could have ended the separation and work on that story more in depth. Easily arresting the mastermind behind the kidnapping at the airport was very disappointing for the closure of that story.

At this point I'm also not that impressed with Gong Shil's sacrifice because I think the show proved over and over that it wasn't the ghosts but the living one needs to be scared of. She has already held herself back to protect him throughout the two amnesia episodes, that was more than enough. Now it's stretched to 3+

Hee Joo-Hanna back story confirmed my theory of yesterday.

Also for the third episode the only skinship we get is forced wrist grabs! All the humor and the sun (thus the fun) left the show...

It's the same for me.

And it's like in the beginning Gong-shil was sticking to Joong-won all the time, it was so cute when he was all annoyed by her, but started to be okay with her touching him. She really did like to touch him, so I was anticipating for when it was his turn to "need" to touch her. When he finally did, I thought that she would be happy and they would spending their days touching each other. Instead when he wants her and chases her, she is turning cold towards him. SOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating! >.<

Yoo Jin Woo, Jin Woo if written in chinese character is another name of Tae Yang (The Sun). And if you put his first name as Yoo-gun, It means Young King or King which also often refers as sun of a kingdom back in time... Hong sister name pun... kekekeke

The way I see it, I think this separation between Teayang and Joowon is actually needed so they can realise what their love is worth. Now it's not about taeyang wanting to stay with JW because he's her shelter(that always bugged me), instead she begins to love him for him. I think JW is already there, in that he loves taeyang for the crazy, spastic girl she is. But Taeyang is getting there.

I want them to come together as something more than just radar and shelter. Because, honestly now they've both outgrown the need for that, love or not.

I have this not so funny sequence in my head where JW will get his soul wandering and searching for GS, meet her and spook her enough to come running to his side coz she doesn't want to see him in person, so he will try and do whatever it takes to bring GS back to his side, where it should be. He's a can do all guy, he will find a way to get what he wants. Yeah, I have faith in you JW, to bring her back to your side.

It's going to sound somewhat crazy and lengthy but here goes ...
I'm in seoul and my roomie and I've having been rushing to our hotel rooms to catch the latest episode airing at 10am. I have no idea what on earth they are talking abt so i'm constantly asking roomie "what's going on? Tell me quick." And because there is so many screen time between sjs and khj, im repeating myself like a broken record throughout the show. (See what i mean by crazy)
Anyways in korea, there isnt much promotion on the show (maybe we missed it. Not that they needed much anyway) BUT all the makeup stores are constantly playing touchlove by yoon mirae. Loving it! Its like a constant reminder of the show.
Roomie and I are so bumped that we have to watch a delayed telecast of the last 2 epsiodes since we are leaving korea on sunday.
SJS - i love your expressions to bitsssss.
I love the way how the writers wrote the story. before JW died, taeyang was sticking to him like glue and he, i guess, kind of like it or got used to it? Then after he died and "revived", positions reversed. He needed her so much that without her his life is empty, with or without memory. I guess love works in mysterious ways. Even heejoo who was stalking him for 15 years had no chance at all.
It's always nice to be able to watch a drama unfold unpredictably. Every single episode has so many details taken care of yet at the same time loads of new stuff unfolding. I do actually want to know how much was transacted between Madame and JW. Given what a calculative and shrewd businessman he is, He was readily willing to spend whatever amount to have tae-yang back to his side.
I must say Im so happy to be here and i saw SJS endorsing giodarno. OMG!?! why cant we have these back home? Why are we having paid models? Not that i have anything against them. Its just that it has a better appeal and it's every bit worth having the marketing dollar spent on them to help boost sales.
HAHAHA. Tae-yang's jesus save me pjs just got me cracking. It shows she clearly the extent she needs to go to to ward off ghosts (not that it helps though)
JW - what can i say? You have so much going on... I love everything about you. Your indecisiveness when it comes to tae-yang. Always not saying what you mean even though its so obvious you wear your heart on your sleeve. I love you to bits. You speak so fast that i always have to press replay. goes to show your mind is working so fast.
Overall, I'm just going to forgive all the ghosts jumping out of nowhere and giving me those goosebumps.
ps: sorry if this is all too much and all over the place. Its an accumulation over 15 episodes. And im typing these while waiting for roomie to finish "ransacking" all the clothes. Off to doota mall!

I am in Seoul too and I also rushed back to catch the ep despite my lack of knowledge in the language. And I gotta agree with the song, I hear it almost everywhere!

I'm not a (certified) fan of SJS (yet) but he has definitely improved a lot and brought his A game in the last couple of eps and I must add he is so adorkable in the BTSes (I like off screen SJS x 10000!) Nonetheless, I did got a tad excited when I saw his cut outs at Giodarno. In fact, I see it every day since it's on the way to the subway, lolol. And I squealed when I saw GHJ's poster at The North Face section in Lotte Mall!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for asking this seemingly idiotic question but... did JW eventually regained all his memory?

As in did he remember all the things they did? The Shoe Lady with cheating husband, The Military Soldier who escaped with his dead dog, the pianist's wife and him kissing her poofing the dead wife away?

Yes, he regained all of his memory. Madam Go said that he would remember everything, once he remembers what disappeared from his hand. At the end of ep 14, Joong-won remembered the sun necklace, so all of his memory came back.

The Jim Woo character sends up several red flags for me:
1. If he found her body and she woke up in a hospital then clearly he called for help at some point.
2. She keeps haunting him and thus becomes a person of interest to him.
3. Even if he doesn't know where her body was taken surely he can figure it out. Missing persons cases like this would have been documented. With all of this in mind why didn't he take her spirit to her body and let her see that she is not dead?

He's up to something....

MTE. There's this niggling thought that underneath the flowers and roses that the show's making their 3 year relationship to be, there has to be a reason why it ended. Ghost GS probably found something out and finally decided it was time to wake up.

I am very intriged with the new guy (chun hee?) who appeared!!!

If I recalled correctly, Gong shi went missing for 10 days in the woods and after they found her 'body' she was in coma for 3 years. Chun hee says Gong shi asked him for help in finding her body and then followed him for 3 years...

When Joon won had that out of body experience, Gongshi needed Mdm Go's help to 'bring' his 'soul' back and Mdm Go had to remove all of his memories about her...

So did Chun Hee take 3 years to find a way to send Gongshi back to her body? Were their memories together wiped out? Is that why she only remembers him in her 'dreams'? Or does he have to do with her 'disappearance' in the woods in the first place?

Isnt it weird that if you knew how to bring your lover's soul back into her body you would do that asap and stay at her hospital bed rather than tour the world with her 'ghost'? That's just so creepy! Its almost like "If I cant have the girl, I might as well settle for her 'ghost'" kinda thing...

What do you all think???

Maybe Chun-hee and Gong-shil both thought that Gong-shil was already dead at the time, and not just in a coma, and it took three years for them to find out that Gong-shil was actually still alive in a hospital?

Or maybe, knowing Gong-shil's personality, she wanted to stay and help Chun-hee through his personal troubles before leaving?

Ack, next week's episodes can't come soon enough!

since he shows his face now, maybe security guard can investigate him but if I were Taeyang, I would just ignore him - she doesn't REALLY remember him anyway and why would she take a trip with him???? Even if she were Kim Sam Soon desperate she wouldn't do that. So what if he can see ghosts - maybe he can get a job with Madame Go but she wouldn't hire him because there's something shady about his eyes like he looks like he could be cast as a gangster.

i just hate that unrelatable aspect of k-dramas where the characters have this strong feelings of love even though they did nothing that merits it. I can see how you feel angry or sad for a while that someone doesn't match your feelings but the attachment/stalkerish level they get is ridiculous. The whole drama i was like "really kang woo, just following tae gong shil around for a couple days has you so in love that you need her to call you and you can't move on or give any attention tae yi ryung?"same goes for tae yi ryung. it takes 2 meetings and slight skinship with kangwoo to make you like him so much you can't find any other guy despite being a beautiful celeb and have to stick on him like a lost puppy and even go as far as to spike his drink? And dark hee joo who cant get over jong won for 15 fricken years despite practically being scott free. Lastly that weirdo who didn't find it wrong at all to develop feelings and stay by a ghosts side for three years.

Honestly i would have been satisfied with just 17 episodes of their extremely cute push pull in denial relationship while helping one ghost per episode and in the final ep they just decide they want to go out lol.

The twin arc was annoying considering the way it ended. Hana could have told tae gong shil from the very first time they met and not let it get this far. As Smart as the bad twin is to pull off this plan, they make her stupid enough to decide to come back to korea and hang around the family while her case is still open and even bringing the only evidence that can get her arrested with her.

The skinship funny bickering and sad ghost stories made this a great drama so far from me. who thought id start to feel disappointed when they get into the main storyline.

I agree with enjoying the push-pull ghost solving case of the day. I would have been happy with that, because their chemistry is so great. Throw in some SexyLips uncle with Auntie Intrusive, some Kang Woo/Tae Yi Ryung 'date me - no' ; and matchmaker Kim and I would be happy.

As for little suns behavior, I get the feeling it started as like a high school crush. Just because he was nice and got her the $ out of the car then bought her food when she was 'recovering' from her cancelled wedding. The wedding seemed more of a status thing not having anything to do with deep emotions. Plus he was probably the first man who didn't fall at her feet, which intrigued her. Not to mention he is cute! :)

Evil Han Na ( Hee joo) is crazy evil which does not equal smart because she wants to gloat and watch Jong won suffer up close and personal.

Not enough info on ghost seeing dude except he gives off bad mojo vibes. Unfortunately we will have to wait (grumble) till next week to see what his deal is.

I wonder if it has anything to do with how HORRIFIC these ghosts look - remember green roses guy's OTHER mien (what a coincidence that word is also "face" in Chinese).

essentially, she is being stalked by ghosts "attracted to her light" and Madame Go warned her that they were dangerous and in this episode, whatshisname says why doesn't she pretend not to see LIKE HIM WITH HIM - meaning he sees them? I dunnohhh.

So there has to be something going on - I was distracted by how awful it would do to go on holiday with lunch buddy in a sweater but you guys are right - it IS sinister. She's being stalked and some of them are poltergeist who can move things ... not good. And also, she has NO PRIVACY even though it's just different elderly women in her room - STILL. NO PRIVACY.

I've been looming around recap sites for this episode.. thanks!
All I can say is poor Hanna, Joo Joong Won didn't even know he was in love with HER. And not only that to see her own sister leaving her behind to die.. gosh that's cruel and sad :( .
But I wonder why ghost Hanna was refusing to reveal the culprit to Gong Shil until the very end... was it because she was waiting for the seen evidence to surface so that when the revelation of the culprit would take place it would be believable? That's my take of it.
No wonder she was sticking around... I guess she wanted justice to be done. I know this sounds absurd but it would be nice if we saw a happier-ish ending for ghost Hanna, like end up with a nice ghost male match. HAH (i've really gone loony 'cause of this show).

Poor Joo Joong Won, to have such a big bomb of a revelation blown on his face and that all this time he hadn't known the name of his real first love.

Honestly I reckon this HeeJoo revelation should've been spaced in two episodes... it did seem kinda rushed and I had to watch the second half of ep 15 and read the recaps over and over to get my head around it.

I do like the fact that Tae Gong Shil is embracing(?) her ghost seeing abilities and wants to find out more about its origins.. I honestly thought they would mention it only a little.

I'm curious about the coffee ghost... he seems cool.

Two eps to go... please dont let me down and please let the be LOTS of sparkly OTP moments.

I think somewhere in the first episode, GS's sister told GS that she (GS) has too much yin energy and therefore needed a yang energy to stablise/neutralise her ghostly encounters.

GS's sister was actually referring to the newly moved in tenant (Kang Woo) but who knows the person with the yang energy to counter GS's yin was JW! :D

he and his secret older brother Cha Seung Wan have intimidating air or assassin air in Chinese - it's also what all the Korean leading men cultivate when they play these Mr. Darcy roles - it deflates bullies and sends them running - which is what you see with bodyguard deflating Little Sun and Colin Firth doing for Bridget Jones occasionally at gatherings where she is made to feel less than.

you rarely ever see it expressed although it may be carried by Chinese men/actors because culturally they prefer to never show they are carrying a big stick and prefer that problems SEEM to naturally flatten out like a wave hitting the shore without their influence being detected. Did not enjoy this episode much. I enjoyed your recap and the posts or comments here though. I felt that we must really be all women how we move from character studies, to the crotch scene (no need for explanation, but were we supposed to see the open palms to symbolise letting go? really don't get that one), to the clothes (does being synchronise in colour signify they are coming closer, even as physically they are splitting up? stirring my head on that one). I felt like it would have been a good step to the ending from the hotel (felt like it wasn't rooftop; more like a hotel entrance (back has the hotel lobby) to JW's home. Now with a new complication of him you all call Chun hee, don't know if we need that. Felt there would be some accident again to forestall the trip. But that would be too much. Some commented that there would be a rescue scene somewhere so i hope it is more creative than another accident. Can't wait for the ending!

The drama has felt off tempo the past couple of episodes, I would only put some of the blame on Chuseok.

- When the creepy woman first made her entrance and warned Taeyang of ghosts wanting to overtake her and not leave, I expected something more dramatic than .... this. I'm still crossing my fingers something epic happens in the next two episodes, but if not, :| It just seems like such a waste.
- Joo Joong Won being able to give up everything he had to 'buy' back Taeyang did happen, but this also lacked a punch, given we were all waiting for it after the case with the rich kid.
- Still not a fan of how he was stabbed due to a random ghost incident rather than linking it to the central plot. The metaphors work, but it seemed a bit off centre. And what happened to that dude, anyway? Was his exit Kang woo saying the dead kid forever watching him would be a consequence of his actions?
- And generally, too much exposition and not enough action. The silent, emotional beats were a kicker from around Ep 4-12 because it was surrounded by so much happening ..... and while I do understand the need for the angst, it could've been handled much better, I reckon. There is good dramatic effect in having everyone leave Joongwon, but the lack of the cute side characters made the episodes feel even more dreary.

I swear I loved this drama. I do love it! Please remind me again, Show, with the last two episodes. Please finish off amazingly. I feel like they could do it, if they link the series of books to not only Taeyang and Joongwon's relationship, but with Chunhee as well. (He did find her in the forest, like in the books!)

Oh, I think I know what it is.

It's often commented that female leads in kdramas seem to lose their spark when they're all 'straightened out'. And end up crying a lot. I'd say the reason why it's not as annoying here is 1. due to Gong Hyo Jin's fabulously grounded acting. (Like those moments where she looks back up at the mirror, swallows, and tries to convince herself it's okay. Gold.) 2. because these characters have been straight forward with each other, even in their bad lying to each other. Both of them know why they're doing it, and it actually makes sense. There are death stakes, it's not comfortable, they're cramping each other's style heh.

But. It doesn't mean we have to like it as the viewer. It's just not as interesting watching, basically.

While I was disappointed that the Hong sisters resorted to the whole amnesia cliche, it was decently handled since there was a realistic rationale and they didn't drag it out for too long.

The whole twins cliche and esp. the good/bad twin thing was less successfully done (I agree w/ JB that they could have given that more depth, but then I guess they would have ruined the "surprise" - which really wasn't a surprise after a while), but still, it wasn't as bad as the norm for a K-drama and ultimately while it had its issues, I didn't hate it (or even worse, laugh at it).

The whole Sec. Kim being the uncle was a bit too much of the typical K-drama incest.

I would've liked to have had a little more info. as to how the whole airport expose came about. Don't know why Hanna had to take over Gong-shil's body (no real explanation as to how that was able to occur) when she could have merely spilled all the beans and ask Gong-shil for help.

I guess Yi-ryung is the secondary "evil b!tch" (next to Hee-joo), except she's not really evil (a bit b!tchy at times, tho) - just conceited, self-centered and superficial.

I actually liked the comedic elements her character brought and she gave Kang Woo something to do aside from moping over Gong-shil (actually think the actress who plays The Kingdom employee, the uncle's lackey and later, the substitute for Sec. Kim is more attractive).

An interesting add-on w/ the whole Chun-hee story line. 1st time seeing Chun-hee act so it was kinda hard to get past his whole FO "Chun-hee!!!" persona. But I guess the Hong sisters needed another dilemma as the whole kidnapping/wrong twin being the accused was being wrapped up.

But as JB stated, this leaves the last eps to be about the 2 leads and their relationship - which is the most impt. thing about a romcom (the background storyline is just that, a background).

The ghost matchmaker was still the freakiest thing about the show (freakier than any of the ghosts) - w/ those eyes and overstretched skin (and overdone makeup).

Unless there is something in the last eps, think the Hong sisters gave up a good opportunity for a real good ancillary storyline.

The whole "contract" w/ Gong-shil - what she ended up doing and Joong-won's relative ease in getting her out of that contract ($$ and a hint of a threat) was just too easy/simple, esp. since the ghost matchmaker evidently had some mystical power in calling back Joong-won's spirit.

Hope the last eps aren't so "mope-filled" and that we get to see the leads start bantering/bickering w/ each other again.

I think the only reason why Madam Go backed out was because he threatened to literally kill her. Seeing that he looked like he meant it and had the means to actually make it happen, she just settled with money. That's all she's interested in anyway since she does all these matches for rich people. So since he probably threw a ridiculous sum at her to get her to break contract, she just stuck with it.

I think the real HJ lost it when she discovered that JW and Hanna were in love. Before that, she was probably just unhappy and maybe a little envious toward her lucky sister, which is understandable. So, the whole kidnapping thing was just her way to get revenge from her sister and JW. It doesn't excuse what she did but it makes sense.

And I kinda feel pity for the real HJ. After all, she confided her deep and long-lasting feelings for JW to her sister and Hanna managed to end up with him. Once again, Hanna won the lottery over her sister.

That being said, I'm relieved she's out of the picture!

Lastly, I hope the next episode will be more gratifying for JW and Secretary Kim. It broke my heart to watch them take one blow after another.

I am also concerned about Chun Hee. It seems like GS has been out of her 3 year coma for awhile. Why has the coffee ghost been watching her for him and he is just now coming around? As someone pointed out earlier, the title of his book (with her ghost pics) is Paradise aka Heaven. Does he want to die with her? Ack!! NO!!! I believe he is the one who saved her body since her ghost found him and told him where she was in the woods. However, is it possible her ghost brushed against JW at some point, thus returning her to her body to awaken? Did JW and Chun Hee meet at some point while GS was in ghost form and JW's aura 'shined' to her more than Chun Hee's and she willingly returned so she could wake up? Alien ghost abduction?

I'm glad there are 2 more episodes because I need a LOT of lovey dovey touchy feely kissy huggy lol moments to make up for the last 2 weeks.

(And please! at least one shirtless So Ji Sub)

I dunno maybe its just chunhee's face?Hehe, You never know which side his bread is buttered on, which is brilliant casting BTW.

Regarding that Paradise photobook, I have this craazzzy theory that Gongshil (in Jinwoo's body) took those photos herself, since she was artistic and all.Maybe she spent time in jinwoos body enough that she also got his ghost-seeing abilities no? And as you've said it is very possible she met JoongWon abroad at some point since the pics showed that they've been all over the world. Maybe she loved and forgot him first so it takes this long for everything to come full circle. Crazy no? I will eat my remote if I am right bwahahah, this is what the show has reduced me to. Can't Wednesday come faster please!

Oh my.... Thanks, I think, for adding to mine and everyone else's growing list of possible explanations for Chun Hee's involvement. You are right about his face, I wavered back and forth on him in cyrno dating agency. I think anything is possible with the Hong sisters, so as someone on this site once mentioned, make sure you have ketchup for that remote! Maybe if we all run fast towards the sun we can get the earth to rotate faster to Wednesday! :)

Anyone else highly disappointed in this episode, especially being this close to the finish line. Ok we wrapped up the twins...I was satisfied with that, but what used to be fun and playful to watch is now BLAAAAAHHAHAHHHH.

Some of the best scenes, to me, were of GS and JW's playful banter and now get nothing! I hate hate a memory loss because I think it just interrupts the flow, but what I hate even more is a time lapse...which I totally feel coming UGHGGHHHH. Damn you drama....

I'm like several other people. I'm confused on the twin resolution. The post cards the Bad twin wrote after the Good twin's death were between alias Margrave and Poirot. That means 2 people were involved in the kidnapping.

Hargrave was the pen name/nick name for the Bad Twin, and Poirot was the nickname for her friend, Maria, the white girl.

I believe in you, Joong-won! You're a man of action, so you'll go after her!

I know Gong-shil's grown a lot stronger now, but she's still just as vulnerable, and I hope that, just as she helped JW overcome his trauma with HJ, he'll help her solve the last great mystery - what happened to GS that made her see ghosts?

Also agree with people that there must be a special meaning behind the fact that only Joong-won has the special ability to be her ghost shelter.

I agree that the entire combo was unflattering overall, but the black pants made her legs look like miles long and accented her small waist. So I was like "gahh she's pretty even in that!"

Is Madame Creepy gone for good? They made a point of her realizing why Master was so special to Taeyang, but then she never brought it up again. Will she be the one that reveals why Joongwon is her special shelter? And the thing I’m dreading is the ever-threatening Time Jump that so often happens in K-drama. If they start episode 16 with the caption 3 Years Later there will be some majorly unhappy campers.

I am still reeling from the breakup and seperation. I will be very disappointed if the reunion is anything like coffee prince which lasts all of 15 seconds.

I do wonder about the mysteries guys who GS hung out with while she was in a coma. i hope they explain how/why she finally was able to/ decided to wake from her coma (is there clues from the coma lady in the earlier episode).

And on wardrobe on the show. Guess since GS is poor, her wardrobe is a reflection since JW and evil HS both had pretty awesome outfits. I hope when GS comes back from her world wind tour she will also get a wardrobe upgrade.

JW was living like "death" since he had no soul before meeting TY. Did the spirit TY followed JW few years? Just like JW, her memory was erased when she woke up.

As a smart business man, JW should deal with Madam Go of a new male TY. Now, he has a trade to get back his own sun, not to share with ghost.

I don't get this:
If Gong-shil had an accident 7 years ago, and she spent 3 years by his side, what did he do during the 4 remaining years?

Come on Chun-hee, your lover is a spirirt by your side for 3 YEARS! It's a tough, anxious situation!
Then, out of the blue, she disapeared! Don't you even TRY to find her for 4 WHOLE YEARS?

Chun-hee had super spies ghosts like coffee ghost but he didn't even bother to go to her!? I mean, coffee ghost has been by her side since day one of this drama so....WHY did Chun-hee move now!!!???

I think something happen with the 2 of them that caused GS to wake up and wouldn't it be great if it had something to do with JW.

Madam Go's commenting that that is why JW is special to GS. I think there is more there than just the ghost shield. I think there is another connection ... more related to GS's coma and waking up.

Can't wait until next week.

Nice call back.

Maybe Joong-Won and Tae-Yang's separation is Rose-Ghost bolt of lightening. Maybe it is Rose-Ghost way of letting Joong-Won feel the pain her husband endure when Joong-Won snipped the head off the rose.

Funny we haven't heard a word about that all important golf course since Joong-Won met Tae-Yang.

I know! I know!
She got better and swirled back into her body which was on the other side of the world and he had to WALK the whole way and lost her address and his phone.
It took him that long and boy are his legs tired as they are long.

I hate how you always accidentally erase the ghost pen phone number and address from your ghost palm.

Ok!
I know what happen!
As a photograph, he traveled the world with ghostly girlfriend. He was in Antarctic when she felt her body calling her back.
She went back and forget about him.
He was so far away from civilization that he had to walk on the ice floe but he got kidnap by a bunch of seals that wanted him to become the chef's wife!
He had a really hard time! Be tolerant people!
But he was saved by the penguins of the last year Madagascar movie...they are so nice and efficient!
By the time he had to walk back like Jomo said, he got here just in time to put coffee ghost on Gong-shil's track while he went to surgery to recover his toes after all these times in the Antarctic!
He just got back from the hospital!!

So? Realistic much? lol
