girlfriday: It’s Puppy! In a pony! Okay, that sounds wrong.
javabeans: Take that back! That’s a mental image I really wish I could unthink.
girlfriday: *too busy cooing*
javabeans: I actually think that’s the best hair he’s ever had in a drama. Maybe in real life too.
girlfriday: I KNOW! Who knew??
javabeans: Well, the bar was kind of low. He’s adorable, but I don’t know why he has had such dorky/oddball/messy/bowl-cut hairdos.
girlfriday: Maybe it’s on purpose, like to make you grateful when he does clean up nice. Banjun hair.
javabeans: Also on that list: Yoochun. Those boys just need the right stylist. (Example: Yoochun’s latest Singles spread. Although the hair isn’t really the highlight.) I’d really like to tell both of them: It’s okay to look hot 100 percent of the time. Really really.
girlfriday: Hey, why are you inserting YOUR puppy in news about MY puppy?

javabeans: I’m not sure it quite qualifies as mane of glory though… maybe ponytail of cuteness. Like a Bichon. Which is fitting.
girlfriday: Clearly we need better hair vocabulary. Pony of Power?
javabeans: *groaaaans*
girlfriday: YOU come up with a better one then!
javabeans: Yoochun’s buzzcut of….? I got nuthin’. This is an unwinnable game.
girlfriday: Either that or we haven’t had enough to drink. Beanies, help us out!

For your information: I despise the drama I Miss You, not the man Micky Yoochun who I believe is one of the few capable idol actors. I confirm than he did a bad choice with that drama: He won't die of it. It's a good lesson for him and all the rest of the cast, who will learn how to choose a decent scriptwriter.The one who's having an "undying hatred" here is you apparently, and all those blind kyaaagirls unable to acknowledge than this drama was a dud: Guess what? It would have been one even if my favorite actor was in it. Grow up and move on with your life instead of writing non sense here.
Back to topic: Yes it's a hangry haircut and it's awful whoever is sporting it. Bowl cut is ugly for everyone and THIS haircut too: Jang Hyuk in IRIS 2 is another victim.

@Annie, I think it's because Mystisith went above and beyond in saying how much she hated the drama, even when the recaps ended she mentioned it in other posts. Plus, the way she dismisses those who actually like the drama, implying that only her views on the drams is valid.

@Annie - Ultimately, the issue isn't really about liking or disliking a drama, but what bit me about following IMY is that I'm really not cool with anyone claiming a position of moral authority in judging a drama that they're not even watching because of their own experiences (because it does discount the idea that someone could possibly have the same experience and disagree, some of the comments on episode 13 made me really uncomfortable with what they implied for anyone who'd gone through what Su-yeon had).
Like you said, dissent is fine but bashing people with opinions different from yours is also not ok, and that goes both ways. And in this case, it really looks like there's a misunderstanding and we all just need to cool it.

I completely understand where you're coming from dear. I actually swore off dramabeans for the duration of MY bc I couldn't stand that person's hateful comments, and she kept popping her comments about it in posts not even related to the drama. But let's not let her rain on our parade dearie, I just like to ignore her snide snippets (I think she likes getting a reaction), and just enjoy the awesome of snark and irreverence of DB.

Yoochun's haircut looked weird to me at first, but it's growing on me. I think the big reason it grew on me so fast is because I've been so tired of the "so much hair in the front covering the forehead" look that so many young actors/idols are wearing nowadays that this was a welcome change for me.

I remember his stares in IMY's promo posters and that's what really got me all curious to check out the drama (sad to say that I have to drop it, eventually). Don't like either haircuts or bad wig.
Seung Gi's do looks too girly and dorky looking. MY looks like he had his hair cut with a blunt razor. Too short and uneven cut shows off high forehead. Love both actors, but could look a lot better without those hairdos.

LSG has a weak chin, not the greatest cheekbones or eyes, etc.

Yoochun cut his hair shortly after his IMY drama. I've had time to adjust to his new looks tho his voice is what has always struck me most.

Hard to believe, but they're still selling those Pretty Pony toys. I think last year they were even a Happy Meal give-way at McDonalds.
But maybe since he's a gummi-ho in Gu, his hair can be the Seung-gi Pony-ho. McDonalds action figure TBD.

I can still see Yoochun's good looks despite the hair. I still wish his hair would go faster though!
