Behind the scenes of Arang and the Magistrate

So adorable. It’s finale week for mystery fusion sageuk Arang and the Magistrate (*sniff, sniff*), so I thought a nice detour backstage would help us all prepare to say goodbye. Unless you’d like to remain in denial; denial’s not so bad. Here’s a boatload of stills from the set of the show, with everyone from hero to reaper to demon hell-spawn… looking utterly adorable and blowing my mind. On what other set would you want to pinch someone’s cheeks and say, Who’s a widdle king of hell?
Behind-the-scenes cuteness is always best on shows like this, where death, darkness, and mayhem are usually the order of the day. I’m still a little weirded out by shots of baddies like Lord Choi or Mom smiling out of character. They’re so cute, but I’m instinctively second-guessing: Is it for real? Can we trust them? But really?
This was such a fun drama, due in large part to a rich world populated by unique characters; it’d be a shame if the cast didn’t have a good time while making it. But it looks like there was a lot of love on set — for allies, foes, and even mascot goats. I’m pretty sure that goat’s got its own fanfic, somewhere out there.
Arang and the Magistrate airs its final two episodes this Wednesday and Thursday. Kings of heaven, hell, and all attendant goats: Give us a good ending, or there’ll be hell to pay.

It has been on my favorite since 2005. I was so impressed with him after watching "The King and the Clown". Thanks to him I found Lee Sun Hee who sang the OST for his movie. She has the most beautiful voice and I've been a fan ever since.

Wah, so cute. It's sad that Jade and Hades can't be with the other casts all the time but still, they look so chummy on set. Wed-thurs without Arang will be so empty. Got to find more BTS to keep the withdrawal symptoms at bay!

Me too....I'm addicted since the first Ep. I'm unable to watch any other drama. I watch Nice guy ...till Ep 5 ...but I can't bear Songjungkii " No EXpression" Face... he just lack of something !!! Though he is cute but he is missing something. Compare to Junki ...Sorry didn't mean to compare because junki is such a Great Actor. JUnki facial expression is so.... OHHHHHHHHH impressive !!! his voice .... made me shivered and his sharp & long eyes... made me hard to breath . I'm breathless.

Ohhh , i'm gonna miss this show...its 2 more episodes left and i can't tell what will happen to Arang and Sato'^^,....better give us a good ending this week or else....to all the casts you've all done a great job and (sniff...sniff...)see you all in the next drama!

the BTS pics are seriously cute, I'd seen most of them on soompi but it's a treat to see them all together like this. This cast is seriously adorable (and ridiculously good-looking, too).

I've watched this last year and must say one of Shi Min ah's best drama. And my first time to notice Lee JunKi. Actually I voted for this drama in Seoul International Drama Awards, hoping it will get something.
