I Do, I Do’s racy teaser

This show is so confusing — it’s equal parts rawr-inducing and head-scratch-inducing, and the trailer is no different. The teaser for upcoming MBC rom-com I Do, I Do is out, and it features leads Kim Sun-ah and Lee Jang-woo as a lively mismatched bickering couple, and lands them in bed together in less than thirty seconds flat.

Well, I guess when your premise involves a baby, no need to be shy about what’s to come. But then it decides for some reason to try and mangle the English language, and succeeds at that as well. Turns out you can do a lot in thirty seconds. *facepalm*

It starts out by listing all of our heroine’s good traits, which apparently consist of: pretty, money, and sexy. Really, Show, really? And then it looks like a drunken dinner turns to a romp in the sack, after which she’s asking him if he’s a psycho or a pervert. Hur? And then a few rapid hijinks later, he’s screaming, “Noona! Is this the end?” OMG, does he actually call her noona? Like AFTER sleeping with her? That would be a first.

It’s got a great ending though: the two of them using their bedroom voices to tell us when the show premieres, and then bickering about the correct time. Once he gets it right, it’s lights out for round two. I’m not sure that teaser told me anything useful about the show at all, but I get the sense there’s going to be a lot of tussling, in and out of the bedroom.

I Do, I Do premieres May 30 on MBC.

i was just thinking of that tbh, waiting for eunjung to sit there on the sofa just glaring at him "you complained about my bedroom scene where i kept all my clothes on - AND NOW LOOK"

you are so right - my thought excactly : jangwoo like skinship - he's very open and of course good looking as him he will have no problem . I can see this drama is trying real hard to get audiences - BUT hey it's a Kim Sun Ah drama : its going to be big .

maybe those kind don't get pregnant and therefore, no show...hehe...i'm looking forward to see how KSA nails all this confusion...I've been fooled by teasers before...like me, too flower, but ended up loving the show!

the tone and atmposphere of all of this which is probably one of the bes tthing about this show.
Hopefully the plot will follow.
And srsly, I'm happy about the drama that are going to be aired this summer!
Korean dramas are quite healthy nowadays.
Still want Bridal Mask & I Need Romance 2 to be those that are going to make it and strike the viewership.

could it be that they make no sense with trailers to give us a big surprise? (and speaking about "Big"... that's another drama comming soon) XD

Hm. I know Kim Sun Ah's a pro at the goofball shtick but I REALLY hope they couple that with the smart business woman persona successfully. I was hoping she'd be like... H.B.I.C.

I'm not sure what to think of this show. On the one hand, it's Kim Sun Ah in a comedy, which I have wanted forever. On the other hand, her co-star looks like he's about twelve years old. With his shrill, squirrelly cry of "Noona!" I don't know whether to laugh or be squicked out. I guess I'll laugh...

Actually the one Ji Ahn (KSA) is calling a pervert and psycho is her ex-boyfriend gynecologist - but was not revealed in the teaser, thus giving us the impression she is actually talking to Tae Kang (LJW). For all we know, Tae Kang might not be calling her Noona, but was just used in the teaser to grab attention.

And yes, I cringed with the "So Beauty" part. :(

The chinese restaurant by my old house had a neon(!) sign that read "We delivery." No joke. Didn't the people who made the sign think to tell them it was wrong cause that sign had to be custom. LOL.

The teaser was a teaser indeed, i watched it like 10 times, maybe more. the last scene was SEXY!!!!! in 13 DAYS i will be on some K-Drama CRACK that I've been missing since January..

I can't take all this waiting....I'm hoping that Bridal Mask will take the Action, Ghost the brain, and I do I do the fun of the summer dramas....life is complete^^though I may not want to watch Ghost...no pull for me there...yet,except Poopy Seok!

AGD is on my list, but it's a weekend drama, so no competition there...I'll definitely watch it when it airs...hehe...I'm one of those who was disappointed with the korean f4 or its version of Hana Yori Dango...so I need the 4 ahjussis to redeem this...haha!!!

what!! I caught up by the teaser ?? yes..that Tae kang put interest to Ji An first? ^^, and then he fall hard for her, obsessive, possessive \^^/ *I scream*, wow, if those scene gonna be in very first episode, then there will be there a lot of struggle to love and live :). expecting for 2nd teaser.

Crazy teaser is crazy, but I'm still looking forward to this one. I had a random thought, though: I think Kim So-yeon would have been a great fit for Kim Sun-ah's role as well. She could totally have the career woman thing down, and I can see her having great chemistry with LJW - or at least, they'd look great together. Anyway, a KSY-LJW romantic comedy would be awesome - gonna write a letter to the powers that be to make it happen

It's a real fun teaser but the "so beauty" is real awkward.
Anyway, love the couple and it's nice looking at KSA in a different role. It's the first time we see her in elegant attire in a drama. She looks absolutely lovely.

It sounds line Sunny happiness. But we will see. Korean version are usually tones down. Example Boys over flower(like) and meteor garden(like) and It Started With a Kiss(love) andplayful kiss

i don't know what you guys are complaining about??? Looks good to me... And yes I cringed as well with the 'so beauty' thing... With this drama I just worry about what they're going to do with the whole pregnancy thing, it could get really awkward and mushy if the writer doesn't do a good job of balancing humor and all that lovey dovey stuff. Dramas in the past that had focused around a pregnancy like "Bad Couple" weren't very successful. Oh, and btw how can you not like KSA??? and my heart melted when LJW said "Noona, is this the end??"

I'm excited. I liked the teaser. Looks like most kdrama teaser aka makes little sense and is probably on the sensational side/might have nothing to do with what the drama is actually about. LOL.

I try to understand the meaning of this teaser and some viewer point of view (they weren't in this site anyway) and I don't care bout the language crisis since I get it. I felt it too and how LJW's comical expressions (especially when he use masker and roll his eyes) closer to Hi-jinks and playful romantic boy, I'm afraid there is no seriousness romantic plot which put this drama closer to silly story. So since I'm a KSA's fans, compare to CH, when she has mask only at first to cover her original character, but no hi-jinks or playful romantic and KSA-CSW could bring their chemistry all out, I'm expecting I Do, I Do will not full of comedy and my point here if it how it is I think the biggest rival of KSA here is the drama itself, so how to support her??. Hope the teaser didn't reflect it's story.

I'm a little uneasy about I Do I Do...it's not the first one night stand drama...and/or pregnancy... If she's so smart, in the 21st century, unprotected sex? And if so, is the morning after pill illegal in Korea? I'm a KSA fan, so I really want this to succeed, so I'm going to give it a try...based upon JB and GF recommendation.

I think similiar as Jojo... and come on: the teaser is a lame. Is this thing about the 50 minutes supposed to be funny??? But more important than the teaser (which will probably not tell anything about the show as already mentioned by lots of you guys before): There is one thing which is bothering me much more: KSA's haircut!!! I can't get used to it at all. I am sorry: I like KSA a lot, but I just think the short hair does not fit her > i'ts so unfamiliar...(it looks like a wig to me, is it one?) Besides I have the vague suggestion they put another stereotype on her that successful single bussiness women must have short hair... However: whether I can get used to her look or not will probably be an important factor to me for liking the show or not. Thanks a lot though for posting, Girl Friday!
