I have often thought that drama producers need an anthropologist behind the scenes to help with the little "American"details. Hmmmm, if only there were an anthropologist around....Oh! That would be me!!!! Wouldn't that be a sweet job? Good thing I'm learning Korean now. By the time the kids are grown I may be fluent!

The name of the president of redbaron airline academy is I.M.Loopey. The chairman of the board is Charles V. Bombastic. Im not sure i want to put those pilot graduates in an airplane, judging from the name of the school officials.

I'm just happy Gu Hye Sun has come back to the drama world. I've read comments from around the web that some didn't like her because of BOF (thought she wasn't pretty enough, etc) but I actually liked her and not in small part to the fact that BOF was my first introduction to the world of korean dramas.

She TOTALLY ruined BOF. Her acting was horrible and she had ajumma outfits. The most irritating Korean actress ever. Yoon Eun Hye is second on the list.

No capitals (except for Redbaron - and since it really should be Red Baron, heh) for airline academy and sanfrancisco (another two-worder), plus using a teeny Piper Cub illustration (at least it wasn't a WWII Fokker w/Snoopy hanging out of the open cockpit), and finishing off with the I.M. Loopey & Charles V. Bombastic as the sign-off officials.

Whoever dummied this up is having a well deserved laughfest.
I'll be taking a pass on this one - it'll make me too nervous watching GHS as Han Dajin piloting the plane and grabbing at her hair at the same time.

And just how are the male pilots supposed to keep their eyes on the road with this beauty alongside them in the cockpit?!! ;) To those getting hung up on the minutia and still making the same parroted negative comments anytime this actress' name appears; It's time to move on. If you hate rap music (or whatever...), why are you still listening to it?

My dream job is making an appearance in a Korean drama. I can definitively speak a better English than the "english" actor they have, even if I'm not.

BUT! You who say spoken english in dramas sucks... Trust me, you have NO IDEA of what they can do with other (less known) languages. I remember literally crying at every italian word they said in "Pasta", and I think that also a couple of other dramas had hilarious things. X°D

I think the casting is a little off. When you look at Gu Hye-sun, she'd pass for a college student but certainly NOT a pilot. It would be more plausible if Kim So-yeon played the part. Oh well, let's just wait and see. Who knows.... her acting might pull this off.

just by hearing the title reminds me of Japanese's Good Luck! which is actually my favorite. It had great spirit that made me alive! LOL

I was expecting to get such interest from this drama. The story sounds appealing. But yeah then again it's a shame that I'm not really a fan of the rest of the casts. Esp, this lil lady, just like to stare at her cute face but not for keeping a track on her acting TBT. heeee

Should I say that only Lee Chun Hee here who merely attracted me for giving it a try yet I'd realized that he is not that strong enough to make me stay. bleh

Gu Hye Sun looks awesome and cool in the pilot uniform. People who do not like her acting, looks, clothes, you do sound like a broken record, please move to the left and remember you do not have to watch the drama.

GHS in BOF was one of the main things that turned me off from watching more than a few minutes of the first episode.

I found it easier to watch the first episode of The Musical but soon the storyline and her character turned me off that.

You guys helped me with get over my bad reaction to Song Hye Kyo whenever I saw her picture by telling me she starred with Rain in Full House. Can you help me out with my negative impression of GHS the same way?

Ms. Ripley (Lee Da Hae) did a better job at forging a Japanese college diploma. Why didn't they hire the men who made her diploma to make Da Jin's? LOL ^^

Why such a big fuss over the diploma! DUH it's not real! It's a Drama! It's fiction! Why waste time dissecting every bit of it. Yes I did laugh at the names and the grammar as well but seriously guys... let it go! LOL

GHS looks really cute and snappy in that outfit! A definite breather from her usual look! I'm really looking forward to this drama and can't wait to see her "Flying High" again on the small screen.

She's doing an excellent Job in The Musical (a drama you should all be watching. No seriously! it's one of the better dramas out there at the moment) and I'm happy that right after that we'll be seeing her in Please, Captain. :) Can't Wait!

I can't say that I liked GHS in BOF. She is probably jack of all trades (exbihition, singing, acting, directing), but master of none (instead of some).

Wow..I think ghs is the most beautiful pilot (in dramas)..she has beauty,brain, talent n behavior. I love her acting too..Please, Captain.. Goo Hye Sun.. Fighting!!!

As a long time fan of Goo Hyesun I'm thrilled to see her in back to back SBS dramas and am looking forward to see her in the role of Han Dajin in Captain. I have seen all of her dramas, have been a fan waaaay before BOF ever existed, and have seen her pull off a variety of different characters in comedic roles like NN5, to her more serious and tragic roles in sageuk dramas, to romantic comedy as in Pure 19, and as a musical actress in The Musical. She has never disappointed me yet, and I don't expect to be disappointed with this new project either. GHS/Captain Fighting!!!

She looks good in a Pilot Uniform ,I'm so thrilled with this Drama I adore GHS as a person...I've become a fan since BOF I just love her in BOF so adorkable :)..And as i've read more things about her I've been a constant follower ,such a good example for the youth.A person with a principle and the most important a very down to earth......

YAY!!! I love these pilot-uniformed photos of GHS! I can never get enough of this beautiful woman. Make her wear anything and she comes out very beautifully! I adore this woman -- a pure heart, full of talents, very down-to-earth, bright smile, a woman of principle.

From the first time I saw her in BOF and now with The Musical, I may not be a good critic of the arts, but I can truly say that Goo Hye Sun has truly evolved as an actress. From her teenager role in BOF, to an aspiring musical actress in The Musical, and now as a pilot in Please Take Care of Us, Captain... watching Goo Hye Sun is like watching a flower bud reach its full bloom. She has so much potential which explains why producers and networks trust her capability. She is that intelligent actress who knows how to pick interesting roles.

Of course, a good drama cannot stand with having only a good lead star. A good drama has to have a good storyline, director, superb cast, and crew. I believe that Please Captain acquire all these.

I am a fan of kdramas and I have seen similar elements in every drama I have watched. I can say that Please Captain is bringing something new to the k-entertainment/drama, just like The Musical does. I WILL DEFINITELY WATCH PLEASE TAKE CARE OF US, CAPTAIN not only because of Goo Hye Sun, but because I believe IT will be a great drama.
