Here’s a whole slew of official posters, character stills, and behind-the-scenes photos from romantic-spy-action-comedy Myung-wol the Spy, which premieres this week. I have to say, some of these look utterly ridiculous — I love it.

My particular favorite is the poster of the leads on a motorcycle, dressed in wedding garb. It suits the drama’s wacky premise: Beautiful and deadly North Korean spy (Han Ye-seul) infiltrates the South with her fiercely loyal sidekick (Lee Jin-wook) and is ordered to get close to a Hallyu star (Eric)… by marrying him. Hello, hijinks.

The comic angst is sure to multiply when our top spy then falls for her husband/target/mark, which makes me think this is like a cross between Shiri and Notting Hill. I don’t know why nobody’s ever done this premise before, but I’m thankful for it now.

The fourth leg of the main character quadrangle is played by Jang Hee-jin, a top actress and hotel heiress. Can we have her fall for the strait-laced sidekick, please? For some reason I think it would be hilarious if Lee Jin-wook’s agent character were tightly wound and utterly humorless, only to find some bratty little princess upsetting his world order.

The story’s crazy enough that it could go either way — hilarious or lame — but I deeply hope it gives us some screwball magic. Also, with both male leads recently out of the army, I don’t suppose it’s too much to ask for double the shower scenes? Oh, all right, I won’t be demanding. Half-nekkid pool shots will do just fine. Or shirtless volleyball.

I wonder why Lee JinWook's first comeback drama after his release would be the second lead or a romcom drama. They get the least airtime and character development. >.< Otherwise this is looking so cute! I'm a little iffy on Han YeSeul's acting but Kim TaeHee surprised me with My Princess so I'm going to stay optimstic!

Both KTH and HYS starred in "Nine Tailed Fox" - not a very good drama I'd have to say, but while neither actress' acting was very good, KTH's was less bad (but definitely a lot of eye-candy for 1 drama).

And speaking of KTH, in the photo where HYS is pursing her lips and carrying Eric, she kinda looks like KTH.

Some real nice shots of JHJ - in the center photo where she is wearing the blue/white outfit, she shares some resemblance to Jeon Ji Hyun

Have to say, women in uniform = hot (I don't think anyone, tho, could beat JJH in a cop's uniform in "Windstruck").

I know! I love him too....and he doesn't do the drama(s) as much as the other ones.....and he's so good at the dry deliveries and I honestly think he has very solid acting.....*sigh* I need it to not be like the 'Lie to Me' fiasco that raised my hopes....and then just pushed me down....

I was watching the last episodes of Baby faced Beauty and the people who uploaded them were kind enough and they kept the promos for this one. IM ON THIS BOAT. This looks GOOD. It sounded fun since the beginning.
I've never seen this actors (I dont find Eric very attractive (don't kill me please! ok, He has a pretty smile) but he looks good for the role and maybe I will be able to find his attractiveness once I see him act. Some actors have that, in stills they look very different than in action. Just, please shave, Eric) but I think its good because I wont be dissapointed if this fails (Im looking at you, Yoon Eun Hye).
From the promos I think he is a swimmer...yay!

I've just realized Lee Jin Wook starred in this drama. I loved him in Someday, but since then he doesn't seem to have done anything really interesting. T_T I wish he could get a good lead role...

You can always, always count on k-dramas to load up on the pretty. The main pairing looks adorable and I really hope now (thanks, JB) that there will eventually be two love lines. Lee Jin-wok is too damn hot not to get somebody! I will fill the void if need be.

i'm from india, the indian date precedes the korean one? i thought vice-versa... or are you writing from the US?
