Moon is just so young. She could really pass as a high school student. I love how she looks good with any hair style. She should really play a tom boy in the remake of Hanna Kimi. That would be perfect!!!!!!!

Not alike! GHJ is classy, beautiful and looking healthy. MGY looks anorexic and someone who seems afraid looking older than 18. She still is cute because of her moonshaped face but beauty is different for me.

Everything else I've read about MGY bears this out, but her birthday letter just proves it all over again: she is one seriously classy young woman.

MGY is so sweet to send a handwritten message to her fans. Something like a handwritten letter is much more intimate or personal than typing a response (which can make others wonder if that star really wrote that message). Wow...is she really 24, she looks so baby-faced! Makes me feel haggard right now.

I think there's enough resemeblance that they can play relatives (mother/daughter, aunt/niece, etc). I don't really look like my mother and I've seen pairings in dramas and movies that have been totally mismatched. However, I agree with others - if they are casted in something together, I hope it's a really good project.

I've always thought they looked similar, but recently I saw moon geun young with a short hair cut and she looked completely different. I'd thought the were related before. I also think park shin hye and jung ryu won are very similar in looks.

I would totally mistake them for mother and daughter if I saw them together and had no idea who they were.

I actually think UEE is more Go Hyun-jung.
There's an uncanny likeness (in small glimmers) even in the acting and screen presence.

It's sweet of Go Hyun-jung though.
I'm beginning to fall out of love with Moon Geun-yeong though. Hopefully her next character portrayal will be a bit more winning and less phoned in.

GHJ looks better than ever, actually she's too young to be her mom, unless she was a teen mom. She's like a fine wine. GHJ has a straight up beautiful face whereas MGY can look a little plain sometimes and gorgeous at other times.

MGY, before I knew her, I thought she didn't photograph very well but then she has great screen presence and is luminous to watch. You know how some actresses are more than what they look like? They don't become A-list stars for nothing.

On Golden Fishery, Go Hyun Jung joked she was seen as the "Auntie/Elder Moon Geun Young." You can say that she is to MGY what So Ji Sup is to Yo Seung Ho.

And the irony that both have starred opposite Chun Jung Myung hasn't been lost either. ;) And she even comments on being his and Jo In Sung's noona. She may be romantic with them onscreen, but offscreen she's like their mom. :D

They do look a like. That would be a good idea if they played a mother/daughter in a drama one day.

I started to like her more in Cinderella's Sister.

She's so excellent, I like her chemistry with Chun Jung Myung but... I really hope that she and Kim Soo Hyun can act together in a movie/drama in the future...

I think they look enough alike to play sisters - i think with mother-daughter the likeness is usually stronger (unless the girl looks like her dad of course). They would be awesome as sisters, too - I'm thinking something like In Her Shoes only with Go Hyun-jung as the flighty one and Moon Geun-Young as the serious one.

I like both actresses.

It would be good to see them both in one drama though and even better if we have C J Myung as the lead actor.
