Miss Ripley’s rain-soaked first meeting

That would be the first meeting between Lee Da-hae and Kim Seung-woo, in the drama that appears to have been renamed (again!) to Miss Ripley. No complaints, as I think it’s a better title than the previous one, Ripley, though not as good as the one before that, Goodbye Miss Ripley, though really, it’s all basically the same thing.
The scene above took ten hours to film, and occurs when Miri (Lee) goes around looking for work. Finding it a futile exercise, she walks along in the rain, not caring about getting wet, when she’s almost hit by a car driven by Jang Myung-hoon (Kim). According to a producer, the two actors conferred extensively before filming their scene, which sets the stage for the rest of their relationship — important, given that Miri finds herself unintentionally lying, which then leads to another lie, and another, like an out-of-control snowball until “the lie threatens to make everything evaporate like bubbles.”
It appears that Miri’s dogged by a sketchy past, which she’s trying to escape now in her new life — which probably explains the various photos of her in bright-colored wigs. Guesses on Miri’s past life? A cosplay enthusiast? A nightclub hostess? A grifter with a really tacky fashion sense? An Alias superfan?
Miss Ripley premieres next Monday, on the 30th.

Lee Da Hae is really putting me off wanting to watch this drama. I think I'll probably give it a miss.

me love her too but me sad about what she did to her face especially since me thinks that she looked as pretty as dara before she got the surgery and her voice changed a bit too after surgery
The park Bom who collabed with GDTOP predebut had perfect live vocals and more of a fuller sound and definitely more control over her voice
I still love her, but looks aside Bommie needs only one thing to get her mojo back 100%: confidence.

I liked her back in her debut das too. she actually looked like a korean. and yeah, I agree about her voice, she lost her controll over it, maybe she had her tonsills out or somthing, i dunno, but w.e she did, .... It took her shine away.

No offense to you the fan of Park Bom and to Park Bom, but Park Bom sometimes looks like a doll, in a very unflattering scary way. I swear if she tones down the make up and just go for the "wearing make up in a way that doesn't look like you're wearing make up" like how Rebecca "Becky" Donaldson-Katsopolis advises, I bet she would look really good. Otherwise, eek! ..... Wow, I'm mean. X/

Whoa, I know the Korean Entertainment Industry is big on plastic surgery, but I try to think some people didn't get much surgery beyond teeth correction and mole removal but... Did Park Bom really get plastic surgery? Did she admit to it or is it just speculation? Cause if she really did, than WOW. She needs to sue her plastic surgeon. X/

Hey, I always thought her lips were kindof off, but some people may have oddities off about them, that doesn't always mean plastic surgery. That's why I asked. I'm checking out City Hunter right now. Hope the 1st episode would give light to what it's all about. I might check out Miss Ripley too because I'm just too bummed out (except for Best Love) by the disappointing rom-coms currently airing (yes, LTM I'm talking to you.)

Hahaha. The first thing that came to mind when I saw the pictures was "Uh, a white shirt in the rain? Dude, never a good idea for a girl. Don't they know that? This is the kind of things guys like, as was seen in Sorority Boys." Part of my brain noticed because, although I may be a girl, I grew up around guys and for some twisted reason they felt the need to explain certain "things" pertaining to the nature of men. Their excuse was that they were looking out for me and wanted me to be careful. I think they just wanted to scar me for life.

Has anyone seen the movie The Talented Mr. Ripley with Matt Damon. Really good yet creepy movie. I honestly think it's one of Matt Damon's best performances...but anyways, the plot of Talented Mr. Ripley is the exact same way. A lie that snowballs out of control. Coincidence?

How convenient for her that she is wearing some sort of cami under that white blouse when she is caught in the rain! Otherwise, I imagine the scene would be about him staring at her bra through a wet see-through white shirt ^^
I might try watching this. I really liked LDH in My Girl, and don't have anything against her. She looks way too skinny now though, it is kind of distracting. It makes her head look too big for her body or something, like a bobble-head.

Hmm... still not too intrigued about this drama yet. It's probably because I like LDH in romcoms, but so far haven't been able to get into any of her melodramas she's done in the past. Maybe I'll watch this one when it's completed since I'm already enjoying Baby-Faced Beauty so much.

Lee Da Hae was naturally skinny. Always. If you saw her in My Girl, the only reason she looked chubby was because they always layered up her clothes for that "cute effect"
I highly doubt she received plastic surgery. She just puts on her makeup differently and she smiles less. Which is a pity, she should smile more; she's just so beautiful.
