So Ji-sub’s book becomes bestseller

Within ten days of its release, So Ji-sub‘s photo-essay book hit the bestseller list and received a warm reception from fans. It’s already sold 50,000 copies by pre-order, and has entered its third printing.
The book, entitled So Ji-sub’s Road, is a collection of photographs and essays. He also writes about his interactions with various writers and artists, like rapper Tiger JK. The usually taciturn and stoic So Ji-sub reveals his inner thoughts throughout the book, drawing a lot of interest from fans. It’s nice to see him take the first step past his reticent image.
A large crowd gathered for the book signing, where it looks like they ordered the biggest cake ever. Somehow giant pink cake and So Ji-sub do not go together in my mind, unless he’s popping out of it, in nothing but a pink bowtie. This is what we call a missed opportunity, people.

As for the cake? Man, that is one ridiculously humongous cake. I bet it's cardboard. XD
I wonder if people buy these books by actors and celebrities to read it (well, look at the pictures too) or just because they're fans. Both maybe?

Lol, that place is Times Square in Yeongdongpo. It's to celebrate the mall's 1st anniversary, but the fake cake is really ugly and pink. Lol, I didn't get to go to the signing but my co-teacher went drooling over his looks.
